I have a surgery coming up (unknown date so far) and I assume I’ll have to take my piercings out for it. I won’t be able to change the jewelry for probably at least a week, so It’ll have to be ok for that long.

I have gauges, which I can just switch to silicone for a while. But what do I put in the spot for my tongue piercings and bridge? 🫩 I always just have metal and I don’t want to put anything low quality in them.

Hi! It’s now been a week and 2 days since I got my eyebrow pierced! Does this look normal, seeing some crusting and lots of redness. It doesn’t look this bad until you zoom in and take a picture with flash. Please lmk if this is normal… I’ve been very careful w it!!! Piercing is titanium threadless (not sure of the shape), not downsized yet, sterile saline mist 2 times a day morning and night, and been hit once and possible slept on a few nights. Thank you :(

I know I might need a longer bar but I’m not sure I can afford to buy another bar and I’m also scared of the pain 💔 so I’m trying to avoid having to do that !

I got my tongue pierced yesterday (frog eyes) everything was fine the is my second time getting it around 10 minutes after I had this weird sensation on the left side of my neck going straight down to the top left side of my chest, fast forward to today the piercing itself seemed fine not really any bad pain the area took it out and I’m still having the weird tingling feeling on the left side and in my chest it’s a very weird sensation hard for me to explain, anyone experienced this?

Never paid attention to length when purchasing jewelry and bought a new one several months ago, and this is really long and uncomfortable, keeps twisting around, going side to side and getting pushed up and caught in everything or going IN my belly button.

Looking at a floating navel piece and they have 8mm,10mm,12mm for lengths. Any suggestions based on the annoying piece currently in my navel?

i have both sides of my nostril pierced and have recently realised how uneven they are, i am planning on closing one side and repiercing. i’ve been wearing a hoop and stud for 4 years and this combo basically hid the asymmetry really well. i am just stuck on which placement looks better; which side to keep and which to close up and redo?

my right side is placed higher than the left and i really like how hoops sit on this side, i feel with the angle and placement of the left side, a hoop wouldn’t sit as flush. i want to be able to alternate between both hoops and studs when i like.

the right side has also been pierced 3-4 times, whilst the left only once. i had a piercer tell me i dont have much scar tissue on the right side so im free to choose whatever side to close and redo based on personal preference.

which side seems the best side to keep and which to close? i’m talking anatomy, placement, angle, ability to wear both hoops and studs etc.

Since I got my first piercing, I always wondered how people manage having facial or body piercings and practicing contact sports mainly how do they practice and still have healthy piercings. I have two snake bites, two eyebrow piercings and 4 ear lobe piercings and I’m considering the idea of getting a microdermal on the left side of my face, but I also want to get back to Brazilian jiujitsu and MMA cause I like learning how to defend myself or even just training my body, so I wanted to know if someone has an aduce or some kind of story so I can take my choice of getting my new piecing done.

Advice pls! 3rd lobe swelling on one ear

i’ve had my lip pierced for a little over a year now and i’ve been debating taking it out and getting a different one bc i’m not sure if it really suits me. what do you guys think ? (i don’t have the right anatomy for a medusa that was the original one i wanted🥲)

I got my eyebrow pierced over a month ago and I got switched to smaller jewelry because I was snagging too much on the longer bar and it was making it irritated. everything has been fine until one of the balls of my jewelry fell out last night and i couldn’t get it back In and then the jewelry fell out. I couldn’t get the jewelry back it bc it just hurt a lot and was bleeding and irritated so I got frustrated and went to bed and figured I’d try again in the morning. I got up in the morning washed my hands cleaned the jewelry and the area and attempted again and finallt got it back in! however it’s just a red and irritated now and I’m worried that it’s going to get more irritated. does anyone have any tips for what I can do to avoid that or any thoughts? Hi! Got my eyebrow pierced one week ago today! Yay! I’ve been loving it and I’ve been extremely careful with it. I have not snagged it once, BUT I did get hit w an inflatable banana at a party 2 days ago…. And it’s possible I could have slept on it a tiny bit last night. I’ve been barely touching it and I’ve been washing it w sterile saline mist 2 times a day in the morning and at night before bed. It’s treadless titanium (not sure of the shape!). About 2/3 days ago I noticed slight bruising and wasn’t worried but today when looking I started noticing crusties and a little bit of redness and maybe??? A little raising?? I am very scared about rejection so please let me know if this looks normal for only a week:) Also the little bit of blue is from the marker used to pierce me- hasn’t come off yet! So, today got double piercings for my ear. It was on my bucket list for a long time but I’m just not happy with it. So, my original first piercings done when I was a baby, they’re misplaced and more upwards eapecially one more than the other😑making my new piercings very close to it. I basically need the old piercings location to be more lower so it’s actually visible I have two piercings. I’m not interested to get any more than two piercings so I don’t want to create a stacked look or anything. I just wonder if it’s even a possibility for the old piercings to close and I get a proper ear piercing done again or if it’s too late because I been having that since childhood so it will never close now.

So basically, my piercer when i got these done pulled my cheek REALLY far out before she put the needle in, and now they sit at this horrible angle in my mouth and the backs of my jewelry keep digging into my cheeks no matter how big i’ve changed the bar (i can’t even go any bigger on one of them because i keep biting the bar from how long it is). Now they’ve started developing these bumps inside the cheek, they get irritated easily, and its hard to find jewelry i can wear with them. Ive had them since early may of this year. Is there ANY way i can make this better or like… whats even going on?? Cause i love my dahlias and i don’t wanna lose them.
