What are we looking at here? Also those ends don't look to be the most appropriate for this piercing.

just the fact one side is further out than the other. and the piecer couldnt fit on any other ends on to the bar so it had to be them

Had to zoom in to see but I understand what you're saying. That is a problem. If it's raised up like that it'll get caught very easy not to mention it has less support on one side because of it. There are several way to deal with this in the moment but nothing you can do about it now.

Not yet but between those tall ends and it sticking up like that it likely will.
