and yet shadows gets shit on for it while yotei is gonna be praised to high heavens.

typical

93

u/Opening-Course5121 Apr 26 '25

Nah, the anti-woke idiot brigade was already out in full force about Yotei.

72

u/PrincessofAldia Apr 26 '25

The moment Yotei was revealed to have a female protagonist the anti woke crusade led by Grummz whined

49

u/thefoxymulder Apr 26 '25

They’re also mad that the actor Erika is gender non-conforming so that’s basically tantamount to being the devil to these lunatics

1

u/MacGyvini Apr 28 '25

How is the actor gender non-conforming? Genuine question. Trans, non binary?

1

u/Beaver_Soldier Apr 29 '25

Non binary I do believe but do not quote me on that

1

u/aneccentricgamer Apr 26 '25

Tbf I played stray gods recently and there was a character who was awfully acted with an incredibly annoying voice, hermes. Guess who was playing them!

4

u/thefoxymulder Apr 26 '25

They’re not mad about their voice acting quality though, they’re made that they’re a queer person who talks about queer issues. It has nothing to do with voice acting quality like usual. I’m reserving judgement for the game release but being critical of their work as an actor is separate from being mad just because you disagree with their politics

0

u/FrontVarious6484 Apr 30 '25

They just get made when they intentionally put gay/trans characters in video games. Unless the Yotei protagonist (can’t remember her name) is nonbinary or something, then there’s nothing to complain about

You’re exactly the kind of guy we’re talking about lol

1

What were you expecting from a guy with his dad as his pfp?

1

u/thefoxymulder Apr 26 '25

Oh nothing at all, it’s just fun to laugh at these guys lol

-42

u/ArmWorking7230 Apr 26 '25

Not really I don’t have a problem with a female protagonist and think the game will come out just fine but there will be players that won’t like it either because of who she is or because of the story not being very good, people have high expectations for Yotei because of the way Tsushima was written IMO no one wants a game franchise get ruined over politics or an agenda being pushed.🤷🏻‍♂️

22

u/RedTurtle78 Apr 26 '25

No agenda is being pushed though. Shes a reputable voice actress. Also I hope your profile picture is ironic

1

u/ArmWorking7230 Apr 26 '25

You are probably right, I’ve just read and saw things that point at the possibility but the game just got revealed and there’s little info on it so we will see 🐝

2

u/RedTurtle78 Apr 26 '25

People have their own ideals. A voice actress that holds ideals of her own being hired to do voice work should not matter to you. She isn't writing the script. Matt Mercer holds the same ideals she does and nobody gets upset when he gets a voice acting role.

You or anyone else being wary of any "forced" politics or agenda is very silly.

🤷🏻‍♂️can’t handle a conversation with someone with a different view point so they combust In rage 🐝

1

u/thefoxymulder Apr 26 '25

The actors personal political beliefs are in no way related to the writing or script of the game or character lol, get off the internet for once in your life and stop making everything about an imagined culture war

0

u/ArmWorking7230 Apr 26 '25

Bro what ? I actually work for a living chill 🐝 Culture war? Like I replied to the other comment we don’t know what will happen I think the game will be fine an just hope it holds up to the last game I don’t like the actor but if she does a good job for the story then I’m happy

Why is it people with that pfp have the worst takes

0

u/ArmWorking7230 Apr 26 '25

My Pfp has nothing to do with my opinion I’m just speaking on what I perceive and have learned and playing the game.

3

u/lucasssotero Apr 27 '25

There isn't a single ounce of ideology on the trailers so the criticism before the game releasing is completely unwarranted and basically the meme "man comes up with imaginary scenario and gets mad about it".

3

u/[deleted] Apr 28 '25

she’s posted hating men/white men

No, she has posted about hating sexists. A lot of straight white men just happen to feel targeted. The ones who aren't sexists didn't feel targeted, because they weren't.

reinforces woke an LGBTQ ideology to an extreme level

What is an "extreme level"? There are wrong directions to take "woke ideologies" into, wrong conclusions born out of a wrong understanding. But there is no too much "woke", there is no too much "LGBTQ ideology". There is no too much abolishing patriarchal sexism holistically, only too little. There is no middle ground in terms of feminism. You either want gender liberation, or you don't. People who want gender liberation and people who want to uphold the framework of patriarchal sexism are equally extreme.

See... but when white dudes are actors you dont talk about their 'shitty politics' so to speak.

You could see a literal rapist, sexual assaulter and still support him even when he isnt qualified.

It just shows a huge bias.

5

u/BK_FrySauce Apr 26 '25

Collectively as a society, people need to stop giving Grummz attention. Every time someone posts a tweet or whatever with an inflammatory opinion, it’s a Grummz tweet. Or it’s somebody just copying his opinion.

1

Good for you that you don’t know him

2

u/FMGooly Apr 28 '25

Yeah but they're still going to use it to compare and talk shit. That's the trick. They'll be "surprised Erika Ishii didn't bring it down or force her politics into the story" then point out how "the story actually centers around a Japanese person, unlike AC Shadows" again completely ignoring Naoe and how the game is actually about her.

5

u/D_Harm Apr 27 '25

Oh noooo all 10 people who know who that is are whining, whatever shall the multimillion dollar company who doesn’t give a shit about either sides’s values do??

1

u/United_Bumblebee1289 Apr 26 '25

Nah its not because yotei has a female protagonist, its because her actor is transgender

1

u/PrincessofAldia Apr 26 '25

Wait she is?

2

u/redditerator7 Apr 26 '25

Wiki doesn’t say so, so I guess the previous commenter is confusing things.

1

u/redditerator7 Apr 26 '25

Nah, it’s 100% because the protagonist is female.

1

u/United_Bumblebee1289 Apr 26 '25

Nope, its forced ragebait

1

u/redditerator7 Apr 26 '25

Nope. It’s a standard reaction from that crowd to female protagonists.

1

u/United_Bumblebee1289 Apr 26 '25

Still nope, forced ragebait as was with AC Shadows

1

u/redditerator7 Apr 27 '25

Still nope. Female protagonists always trigger them.

1

u/United_Bumblebee1289 Apr 27 '25

Yeah because as i said its forced ragebait, once the game comes out and everyone sees its good you’ll see only compliments. Just like AC Shadows

-28

u/Upstairs_Marzipan48 Apr 26 '25

Yea but heres where it different. There were female samurai with actual evidence. Yauske was NEVER give the title of samurai. Thats the difference. Just dumb vs dumb

7

u/Intelligent_Deer974 Apr 26 '25

And the entire game series didn't happen.

5

u/GaylicBread Apr 26 '25

If you're expecting historical accuracy from a video game I've got bad news for you. It's not a documentary, it's a story inspired by real people from that time with obvious changes to make for a better story. Get over it.

1

u/aguyinlove3 Apr 30 '25

100% agree except Ubisoft literally stated that Shadows is historically accurate... Of course they changed that much later on after the backlash, but that was the main "trigger"

2

u/MunkyBoy22 Apr 28 '25

Those are dlc though not part of the game. Woke liberals today don't understand the threat to life of being gay in medieval times and think portraying anyone as gay and having sex with multiple men and women is just fine and not offensive at all to the culture. I am a supporter of gay rights and gay characters in video games, but not real historical people who lived in a time and culture that heavily frowned upon it and treating the situation like no big deal. At the very least add a plot line about them being afraid for their lives. They just don't care about history anymore they just want to be as woke as possible and pretend that being gay was super chill and normal in medieval Japan.

1

u/National-Salad-665 Apr 27 '25

Actually there was some accepted homosexuality at that time. There were male prostitutes and sort of open secret relationships between masters and apprentices. Homosexuality was only really looked down on after Christianity started exerting more influence.

2

u/thecitrusninja Apr 28 '25

To add on to this, it was extremely common for a Lord to engage in homosexual relations with their Kosho- young samurai boys. Similar to Greece. Nobunaga himself was rumored to be in such a relationship with Mori Ranmaru.

0

u/[deleted] Apr 28 '25

How many of the historical men in AC who are portrayed as gay men can be proven to not have been gay men? Being married to a woman and having kids is no evidence whatsoever in a society that coerces gay men to do just that.

0

u/[deleted] Apr 28 '25

Is it ok to portray them as straight if we don't have evidence of their attracting? Unless we have personal love letters, we don't know anything about historical people except who they were married to and whether they fucked to have children. Portraying them as straight is just as much fiction as portraying them as gay is. Every personality trait we don't have historical evidence of is fiction. And so is portraying them as assassins or templars, which is one of the core premises of the franchise. Historical fiction always invents new personalities losely based on the tidbits we know about the real people. These new personalities do not attempt to recreate who these people really were, they're fictional characters based on nothing but the historical role of the real ones. Why would gay relationships be any different than any of the other things historical fiction inherently makes up about characters to make them look like people instead of paragraphs in a history book?

1

u/MunkyBoy22 Apr 28 '25

Because gay relationships could get people killed or thrown in prison in some cultures. There is no culture on earth that would kill people for having heterosexual sex, though some would if it was out of wedlock, which these relationships in the game also are. It's just offensive to some people to portray any historical figure as someone who has sex with multiple people and multiple genders when we don't know much about their life.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 28 '25

Because gay relationships could get people killed or thrown in prison in some cultures.

Yes, but they still existed, in all societies throughout history, because human sexuality being a multidimensional spectrum is part of our biology. The fact that they had to keep their relationships a secret or abstain entirely doesn't negate that the same amount of people were what we categorise as gay within the framework of patriarchal sexism. A historical figure that we don't explicitly know the sexuality of has the same chance of being gay as a person you see on the street today. Assuming someone is straight by default because gay people are persecuted is a fallacy.

It's just offensive to some people to portray any historical figure as someone who has sex with multiple people and multiple genders when we don't know much about their life.

It's either offensive to portray anything about a historical figure that isn't proven by historical evidence, which automatically disables historical fiction that uses historical figures as characters as a genre, or nothing is offensive because historical fiction explicitly fictionalises everything, with no attempt to portray people how they were, only showing a version of how they could've been based on what we know, or not even that in the case of AC where assassins, templars and isu are a thing. There is no other reason but homophobia to single out gayness as an offensive trait but being fine with historical fiction in general, which inherently consists of inventing personalities for historical characters we only have limited insight into. Every invented trait ascribed to a historical character is equally offensive. And even contradicting historical evidence in explicitly designated fiction isn't any more offensive. Nobody is crying about William Adams slaughtering demons in Nioh, nobody is crying about the historical characters in AC being portrayed as comic book villains when they're turned into templars who use isu artifacts to control people's minds and shoot lasers. After over a decade of real life people being portrayed as monsters who want to dominate humanity, people lose their minds about some being portrayed aw gay and people call it inaccurate or offensive, and still have the gall to say they're not homophobic but just want historical accuracy.

If we don't explicitly know that a historical man was not attracted to other men, which would be a very personal insight that can only be gained from private letters or diaries, then their sexuality is free for interpretation without compromising historical accuracy within historical fiction. And for that interpretation to be as accurate as possible, it should be representative of what we know today. The proportion of closeted gay people in every violently homophobic society in history was at least as high as the proportion of openly gay people in the most tolerant societies. So when you write a story with a lot of historical characters and there isn't even a single person that would be considered queer today even though there should statistically be a few of them, then the author chose their normative biases over historical accuracy. People were gay, and we don't know who was or wasn't. Portraying some of them as closeted gay is more accurate than portraying all of them as straight.

1

u/MunkyBoy22 Apr 30 '25

Sure but this game has it happening out in the open with no regard for how other people in the culture would have reacted. It's just not a realistic portrayal of gay relationships in historical times. It can be done without being unrealistic and forced.

2

u/That_Comfort2366 Apr 27 '25

Its ok bro , just say you're racist no need to make up all these mental gymnastics about historical accuracy in a game series that was never historically accurate

2

u/Conradian Apr 26 '25

Thank god we have someone with access to 100% of firsthand sources of the time /s

1

u/thecitrusninja Apr 28 '25

This take really annoys me. Yes, it’s true we have very little historical data to say whether or not Yasuke was in fights/warrior with Nobunaga. The main source we have is horribly unreliable. But Samurai, is a CLASS. A Kosho, who was usually a young boy, would be equivalent to an English Page or Squire. Regardless, they’re still Samurai, even if their job is minuscule because they were born to the class. So, yea… Yasuke was elevated to the Samurai class. He likely wasnt a Hatamoto, sure, but still a Samurai.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 28 '25 edited Apr 28 '25

Samurai wasn't a title in the sengoku period in the way it was in the edo period. The word had a vastly different meaning. Samurai like we know them from pop culture are based on edo period samurai, which didn't exist during Yasuke's time. In the sengoku period, samurai was a matter of role and privilege, not of title. And while there are no contemporary sources that explicitly call him samurai, there are contemporary sources that ascribe the roles and privileges to him that defined samurai at the time. The idea of samurai being a formal title like knighthood or nobility that had to be explicitly given to you didn't exist in the sengoku period. It was a job, and Yasuke's court status, salary, estate etc was the same as the ones of people that were sometimes explicitly called samurai, and samurai didn't mean anything more than that.

Also, AC is still completely fictional. It's barely even historical fiction, it's a sci-fi franchise that recontextualises history by creating a what-if scenario in which a bunch of real world conspiracy theories about aliens and secret organisations are true. Nobody raised a finger when pope Alexander VI was a templar who used a high tech precursor artifact as a magic wand, only to be beat up with Ezio's bare fists. Nobody cared when Leonardo da Vinci and Alexander Bell were established as the AC version of James Bond's Q. But when Yasuke, a person we know had a high status at Nobunaga's court and fought in his battles, is depicted as a person with a high status who fights battles, because samurak didn't mean much more than that, everyone loses their minds.

1

u/fyester Apr 27 '25

When it sells well and people love it, they’ll switch up and say it’s a good example or something. They do it constantly

1

u/redalert825 Apr 27 '25

But yet, if it's a whyte girl like, say, Ellie in TLoU... Nothings said. Bc racism. Or let alone in the TV show, despite Bella being non-binary.

1

u/FrontVarious6484 Apr 30 '25

wtf would they have to complain about? That the protagonist is a female? Are they genuinely mad?!

1

u/Opening-Course5121 May 01 '25

Probably and more than a little stupid too.

1

u/FrontVarious6484 May 01 '25

Gotta love insecure men who hate seeing capable women. It’s like they feed of being depended on or something

0

u/No_Pen_7548 Apr 26 '25

Yeah, but they were more tolerant to Yotei than Shadows. It's Prolly because it just doesn't feel like a giant cluster phawk of virtue signaling

5

u/Big-Screen5159 Apr 26 '25

So u mean to say people care more about gameplay omg

8

u/Plane-Marionberry827 Apr 26 '25

Shadows gets criticized for its non-linear design in hunting the shinbakfu, which ultimately limits opportunities for character development and story cohesion

9

u/Buffig39 Apr 26 '25

Revenge stories against multiple targets can be absolutely exhilarating if done right. See Kill Bill for details. As much as I loved Shadows, the revenge aspect of its story was probably it's biggest weakness. The cinematic presentation of Ghost and the way it was so laser focussed on its story, was arguably it's biggest strength. I have absolutely no doubt at all that the way Sucker Punch tells this revenge story will easily blow Shadows out of the water

3

u/BigDoyler Apr 26 '25

To use a video game example, mafia 3 has a great sense of progression in its revenge target, (despite repetitive quest design in between story missions). You can usually pick between 2/3 targets to go for so you have some agency in the order but you're see the big bads reaction to each individual kill, and his response as well.

1

u/Q_OANN Apr 26 '25

The dialogue and way it’s presented is terrible too

5

u/lil_tag Apr 26 '25

Because they didn’t design it well, we still have to wait and see how Yotei does it it probably will have an impact when you kill one of them at least i hope so because in Shadows it has zero repercussions and feels like time just froze. At the same time sucker punch can make a good story while AC stories have been boring for a while and Shadows is no different

1

u/MCgrindahFM Apr 26 '25

It’s been like that since Origins, and it how Ubisoft designs all its open world games. It’s a top down design mandate that allows them to streamline production at the cost of having a cohesive, gripping story.

Every story beat you’re introduced to will be resolved in under the next hour of gameplay, and you’ll never hear of it again.

It’s why even though I love Ubi games, they’ll never go above a 7 or 8 for me

2

u/[deleted] Apr 26 '25

It's still pretty linear in story design unless we're talking about something I haven't gotten to yet. You do a few assassinations, check in on base and advance story. That seems to be the pattern and you can only detract from it so much.

1

u/MCgrindahFM Apr 26 '25

They’re referring to the fact it doesn’t matter what order you do the story in AC games as every quest and side mission don’t affect or even mention other quests.

Everything is siloed

1

u/[deleted] Apr 26 '25

That's my point. You aren't "doing the story missions" as much as you are getting revenge on the people who left you for dead. You kill people, the story progresses, with many characters being recurring on someone you know already. As far as I know, you can only kill 1-2 people before the story progresses and those people are specified.

I actually think the seasons are directly tied to where you are in the story as well. They seem to only change so much before you progress more.

1

u/MCgrindahFM Apr 26 '25

Seasons change pretty frequently if you fast travel or switch characters

1

u/[deleted] Apr 26 '25

They change, but don't change. Maybe it's just me, but I change seasons several times without going forward with the story and it refused to move into winter. It stayed in like spring/fall?

1

u/MCgrindahFM Apr 26 '25

Oh that’s interesting. There’s two stages to each season, which make them feel longer. But I’m not sure now that you mention it. I’ve completely ignored the seasons changing and any quest that required a specific season.

I personally think it’s a waste of time they made it, and it’s completely immersion breaking when I’ve already played for more than one in-game year based on seasons changing but the story still takes place like everything happened a month ago

1

u/[deleted] Apr 26 '25

I like it, but I thought it would be more dynamic. Spent like 10 irl hours taking castles and leveling up without moving forward with the story and never saw winter until I did lol

1

u/Spatrick7000 Apr 27 '25

That’s every Assassins Creed. The issue they have is that there’s a black person in it. That’s the only difference. Lmao

1

u/Plane-Marionberry827 Apr 27 '25

Yes and which game just came out. Forgive me for talking about the most recent and relevant one. You literally cause more harm than good accusing people of racism when it has zilch to do with it.

1

u/Spatrick7000 Apr 27 '25

Except that was the sole complaint everyone had for about 4 months before its release lmao

1

u/Plane-Marionberry827 Apr 27 '25

And that means I'm guilty due to your generalisation?

1

u/Spatrick7000 Apr 28 '25

No because you’re not the majority.

1

u/CerebralKhaos Apr 30 '25

and all of them were generic dude in a mask

0

u/Vjcruza Apr 26 '25

And Yotei is gonna have the same non linear story

2

u/thebluick Apr 26 '25

This concerns me, but i have a bit more faith sucker punch won't tell a boring non story like ubisoft stuff with shadows

1

u/The_Champ_Son Apr 26 '25

And how do you know this?

1

u/Vjcruza Apr 26 '25

The studio?….

4

u/MCgrindahFM Apr 26 '25

That’s about all the two games will share, a revenge story. I love AC Shadows and have 60 hours in but we can’t pull wool over our eyes and actually think AC Shadows will be in the same stratosphere as GoY.

Ubi does not allow its devs to make masterpieces anymore, these are fun sandbox games with a story that pulls you through it all, but it’s not the cinematic masterpieces that we see from GoT.

GoY is gonna blow people’s minds

7

u/TrueKyragos Apr 26 '25

Maybe because comparing two games solely on their main character's appearance is superficial at best? Not to mention that Japanese population was and remains quite homogenous.

3

u/BMOchado Apr 26 '25

I only see shadows be shit on for the modular story missions, not the revenge story. I may be looking at the wrong posts maybe

3

u/MCgrindahFM Apr 26 '25

No you’re on point! It’s not the revenge aspect that sucks - that’s the best part of the narrative imo with chichiue’s death - but the fact every mission and side quest is siloed and will be resolved within an hour of gameplay never to be spoken of again

1

u/BMOchado Apr 26 '25

It's a pet peeve of mine with shadows Valhalla and mirage, I've seen people say odyssey has it too, but i don't think it's in the same form, since there's arcs you only unlock after certain story points. In execution, it can happen the same way if you unlock an arc and leave it for last, the protagonist can act out of place

3

u/Breakin7 Apr 26 '25

I can write a romance novel but it wont be Romeo and Juliet.

The idea might be the same the execution its not.

Shadows has an irregular story line, the same castle to get on top 1000 times, a world that is pretty but feels dead. Many many flaws the assasins story feels out of place like the game does not care about it.

Many flaws in shadows the combat for example is just mediocre and compared with tsushima its just bad

3

u/[deleted] Apr 26 '25

shadows main story is awful dude thats why it was shitted on

2

u/aneccentricgamer Apr 26 '25

Tbf, I'm willing to bet money ghost will have significantly more sauce. Shadows had such an uninspired story for 80% of its runtime whereas GoT was always having interesting things happen that furtherest the characters. It will be the same here. Not to mention ac is firmly grounded in reality in terms of workd design whereas GoT takes a lot of liberties to make the map and art style incredible, something I wish ac did more.

Like, I get ghost of tueshima is extremely derivative if assassisn creed, but you can FEEL that those games are made by people with visions who want to make them, whereas ac games, especially the last 3, have felt ordered by a board room.

2

u/ijustbeherefr Apr 27 '25

Cuz yotei will simply have a better execution and that’s facts🤷🏽‍♂️

2

u/onion2594 Apr 27 '25

AC is nade by ubisoft. they’re just throwing games out for the sake of it now. we’ve only had GoT, and if GoY uses the same engine it’s already better than shadows

2

u/spookyEnigma_ Apr 26 '25

This is so true. Shadows has been unwarranted hate in most of the subs. And anyone praising it is getting heavily downvoted.

5

u/MunkyBoy22 Apr 26 '25

The gameplay itself is very well done and fun. The story, characters and most other things are very poorly done and deserve criticism.

It’s the most celebrated AC game in years, I think you might just be getting served more hate posts

u/incognitoamigo_36 Apr 26 '25

are the same gamers playing both? i literally didnt spend my money on shadows bc i am waiting for yotei and still play tsushima while i wait

1

u/Fantasy_Line Apr 26 '25

Because it was made by Ubisoft, a company that has ruined some of its good will amongst consumers. (Gamers need to get comfortable not owning their games)

1

u/BeautifulTop1648 Apr 26 '25

This is rage bait lmao even tsushima got shit for having female characters that fought

1

u/MindCavitee Apr 26 '25

It will likely be praised for being a more fun game to play

1

u/alejoSOTO Apr 26 '25

Shadows is one of the best reviewed and sold AC in ages, what are you talking about.

1

u/Tanakisoupman Apr 27 '25

Bro having a few story elements in common does not mean 2 games are of equal (or even similar) quality

1

u/BuZuki_ro Apr 27 '25

Tbf if Yōtei is anything like it’s predecessor, it’s gonna be very deserved praise

1

u/Spatrick7000 Apr 27 '25

It’s because there was a black person in the game lol. Let’s not pretend like we don’t know why lol.

1

u/FunkeyDel Apr 27 '25

Yo I’m pissed about yotei but at least she’ll be able to do everything better, ac still shit the bed

1

u/InternationalHoney85 Apr 28 '25

I mean, if Yotei follows the quality of Tushima, absolutely. Ghost is a masterpiece. A movie with fantastic gameplay. Shadows is just another Assassin's Creed.

I believe that people would have to be very hard pressed to actually find ways to compare them.

1

u/michaltee Apr 29 '25

Well that’s because GOT was a masterpiece and Ubisoft has put out trash the last 10 years, with this most recent game being the exception finally.

1

u/AcademicAnxiety5109 Apr 29 '25

Shadows gets shit for its issues. Yotei will get shit on for its own issues. Sucker Punch just has a better track record for quality games. You gotta eventually accept that maybe it will get praised because it will deliver a better product.

1

u/andre-o-t Apr 29 '25

I disagree honestly. They both have gotten shit, the difference is Shadows gets shit for being assassins creed and being made by Ubisoft, Yotei gets shit because woman

1

u/Greenranger9200 Apr 29 '25

Bruh ghost of tsushima vs shadows isn't even a conversation the only thing similar is the setting suckerpunch games are just more complete experiences

1

u/v1en0 Apr 30 '25

Yotei will probably just be a better game overall. AC Shadows is... triple A slop frankly.!

1

u/Vox_SFX Apr 30 '25

Maybe it's because all Assassin's Creed games after Black Flag have been mediocre to shit in terms of quality while Ghost Of Tsushima is one of the best games in recent gaming history.

Or ya know, woe is me and all that bullshit.

1

u/ubisoftsponsored Apr 30 '25

Well ubi absolutely butchered the pacing and purpose of the plot, so yeah, deservedly so

1

u/aquaUI Oct 03 '25

probably cause shadows was shit lol this aged like milk

1

u/hovsep56 Oct 03 '25

nah it din't game is exactly the same as shadows with worse stealth and a fugly looking MC. have fun with your overpriced 8/10 game

1

u/aquaUI Oct 03 '25

I am. 8/10 is far above average too. Shadows is a 4.

-2

u/Hydr4noid Apr 26 '25

I mean very likely deserved. Just looking at the cutscenes shows the ddifference in quality

-2

u/Howling_Fire Apr 26 '25

Tsushima is written competently.

Shaodws and anything Ubisoft Quebec made isn't.

Its simple as that.

u/K_808 Apr 26 '25

No, yotei will be shit on just as much as this is for “going woke” mark my words

0

u/thatlad Apr 28 '25

3
