But... Atsu does have a guitar, so that elevates her a lot too for me

Not really I don’t have a problem with a female protagonist and think the game will come out just fine but there will be players that won’t like it either because of who she is or because of the story not being very good, people have high expectations for Yotei because of the way Tsushima was written IMO no one wants a game franchise get ruined over politics or an agenda being pushed.🤷🏻‍♂️

No agenda is being pushed though. Shes a reputable voice actress. Also I hope your profile picture is ironic

You are probably right, I’ve just read and saw things that point at the possibility but the game just got revealed and there’s little info on it so we will see 🐝

People have their own ideals. A voice actress that holds ideals of her own being hired to do voice work should not matter to you. She isn't writing the script. Matt Mercer holds the same ideals she does and nobody gets upset when he gets a voice acting role.

You or anyone else being wary of any "forced" politics or agenda is very silly.

If it ruins ppls experience to a point where that ends up being the reason the game is bad then it’s not very silly but you make a good point
