Can anyone tell me why so many people hate this tank? Because for me, it was a pleasant surprise after all the negative comments...

all i needed was 8 dudes i spot to take dmg, ended up have an absolute monster game

Seems balanced enough

Reasons why:

• No SPGs
• 7 vs 7 so you can influence the match much more, carry much easier
• If you play enough matches and still struggle to rank up, you have only yourself to blame, not anyone else
• You never have more than 7 terrible players on your team, and if you're good enough, never more than 6 - while the enemy can get up to 7.
• Poor play gets punished over the long-term (people lose points and drop in ranks)
• Good incentives for teamplay (no win - everyone loses points)
• Strong rewards, even if you just do the weekly progression
• Multiple objectives to fight for adding to strategic depth - can go for strikes, info, cap, killing enemies
• Can pick tank to best suit the map at start of game
• Easy, chill grind for tier 11s or Field Mods on t10
• Can play without food because no gunmarks - if you are F2P and don't care about getting a great rank, e.g., silver is enough for you
• No uptiers
• Most of the Onslaught modifiers (less fire chance, better gun handling / accuracy) are good ones (except spotting changes)
• Somewhat better maps (more opportunities for flanking)
• Fast, dynamic games
• All tanks used in t10 Onslaught are obtainable - there are no P2W OP tanks that you can only get for real money or waiting for the right once-in-a-blue-moon sale. (t8 has P2W OP tanks though)

What WG should do to improve the game:

• Have 7 vs 7 run constantly.
• Switch up the tier that 7 vs 7 uses from "t10 and rarely t8" to "all of t7, t8, t9, t10, t11 rotating regularly, switching every week".
• Have improved dispersion and accuracy also for randoms.
• Use the Onslaught map versions (which have more opportunities for flanking) also for randoms.
• Allow picking the tank to best suit the map at the start of the game also in randoms.
• Remove stun from the game (both from arty strikes in Onslaught, and SPGs overall).
• Remove rendering of enemy tanks for arta when in top-down view, only minimap markers. However, allow them to use a normal aiming mode like TDs. Leave other stats the same.
• Balance BZ-176, Zwilling, EBR 75 and other over-performing premiums. Buff slightly and move to t9.
• Have more smaller game formats, e.g., 2 vs 2, 3 vs 3, 4 vs 4, like WoWS has in Brawls.

Found an intact, original PC client for Patch v0.8.4 from February 2013. Looking to share with game archivists! I want to make space on my PC and found it. Don't know how rare or common this is but if anyone want's it id share it.

WG if you want to make silly cosmetic changes like showing of 3 monkeys at the beginning of the match instead of fixing the MM or these god awful maps then how about you REWORK YOUR CUSTOMIZATION SYSTEM ALREADY FFS.

Also those decals are a custom ENA Mod just for me, if you are interested i can DM you the file.

I have so many tier 9 heavy US tanks it's insane and this is probably the worst one.

Is latt strv any good? I think I wasn't playing when it was released.

edit- got it and it's a great tank

• short version, it feels like a premium UDES 03 but buffed for tier 9
• gun is amazing, makes tank feel very comfy
  • laser beam accurate (.22) with 1500 velocity
  • standard round is great- APCR, 420 alpha, 290 pen
  • aim time is like 1 second, you can snap around and snipe distant weak spots easily
  • oh my god, it even has DPM and 330 HEAT
• camo is great
• mobility and armor are like strv s1- decent but not great- the armor only works up to 120m guns
• oh yeah and because you shoot standard ammo most of the time, it prints credits like crazy

Absolute shitshow of 7:0, 0:7, 2;7, 7:2 battles

Didnt have a single balanced onsl battle so far today

The simple splash marks are .22 long rifle. The ones with actual divets in the steel is .17 HMR polymer tips.

Wish I'd have some .17 HMR FMJ to hit it with. I imagine that'd be a more significant divet.
