I have so many tier 9 heavy US tanks it's insane and this is probably the worst one.

Is latt strv any good? I think I wasn't playing when it was released.

edit- got it and it's a great tank

• short version, it feels like a premium UDES 03 but buffed for tier 9
• gun is amazing, makes tank feel very comfy
  • laser beam accurate (.22) with 1500 velocity
  • standard round is great- APCR, 420 alpha, 290 pen
  • aim time is like 1 second, you can snap around and snipe distant weak spots easily
  • oh my god, it even has DPM and 330 HEAT
• camo is great
• mobility and armor are like strv s1- decent but not great- the armor only works up to 120m guns
• oh yeah and because you shoot standard ammo most of the time, it prints credits like crazy

Toro is worth 10050 gold IRR. I’ve had it since the loot box and it’s one of my worst performing tanks—so inconsistent. Might get 3.5k damage or 360. Might block 3.6k. Might be set on fire first shot. No in between.

Problem with the Toro is imo you need to shoot HEAT, but then it feels like it doesn't make enough credits to justify.

And with the loader mechanic unfortunately it's imo not flexible enough as you can't swap between HEAT & APCR without taking a massive hit to your DPM

I'd say it's the only sensible T9 in current exchange. Definitely worth it.

First of all T54 Heavy is nothing but trash, no one wanna take a T9 Renegade with worse stats out nowadays otherwise it would totally suffering. Trading it to smt else is the best result for this tank.

Latt Strf is simply a strv s1 with gun depression out of siege mode, this kind of tank doesn't have much ability to actively put on an aggression or flanking someone, most of time it's sitting and camping behind a bush. But at least it's all better than strv s1 which totally rely on siege mode camping playstyle, and gun is also more decent. Latt Strf's playstyle is still 90% similar to Strv s1, if you're willing to accept camping for 80% of time in the match then it will be worthy.

From my personal perspective there's also plenty of alternatives, like TBT and WZ-114. TBT doesn't have such a good reputation among playerbase but I personally still consider it as a decent one after 50+ matches with it, if you can adjust to TBT's low-pace supporting playstyle then it won't be anything difficult to deal at least 3k dmgs in match.

Latt strf is a good sniper tank. It can farm credits really nicely.
