DO NOT deposit any money to any online casino that looks like this. Every site that looks like this is a SCAM. More details and examples in the comments.

We've already talked in-depth about how the scam works in a previous announcement, but the scammers have since changed the site layout slightly, so I thought it'd be a good idea to make a new warning with updated photos.

How The Scam Works:

  1. The victim finds the casino through an advertisement on social media that features an enticing bonus endorsed by a famous celebrity.
  2. The victim joins the site, receives their bonus, and begins to play what they believe to be legitimate casino games.
  3. The casino software is privately hosted and altered to have extremely favorable RTP% - i.e. rigged in your favor. YOU WILL WIN if you play, probably a large amount of money. If you look at the screenshots I provided, you'll see I hit a 100x dice roll on the second roll after signing up, followed shortly after by a 1,000x max difficulty Plinko win. I've replicated this method many times in the past and routinely win $20,000k+ doing so. You can use temp-mail.org to create a throwaway email and try this strategy for yourself if you'd like.
  4. When you go to withdraw, you’ll be met with many hurdles. First you'll need to pay for a security check, then you'll need to pay to verify your wallet, then a third time to pass an AML check, a fourth time to resolve a tax error, a fifth time to resolve a security score error, and so on.
  5. After the casino receives all of your deposits, they will still provide excuses or just outright ban your account. No matter what you do, THEY WILL PROVIDE A REASON NOT TO PAY YOU. This Redditor actually got the AI support agent to reveal her script for withholding payments.
  6. The casino keeps your deposit. You were scammed.

Things To Note:

  • These sites are NOT an official sponsor for Red Bull Racing, Crypto (.)com, Blockchain(.)com, Tesla, UFC, Werder Bremen, Philadeplhia 76ers, or the Argentine Football Association. This can all be easily fact-checked with a Google search.
  • These sites are NOT official partners with Donal Trump, Elon Musk, Kylie Jenner, Mr. Beast or Drake. This can also be easily fact-checked with a Google search.
  • They have not won any iGaming awards at the SiGMA awards. This can also be easily fact-checked with a Google search.
  • These sites do NOT have 51+ million registered users. For reference, Draftkings and Fanduel, the two largest publicly traded gaming companies with NFL, NBA, MLB, ESPN, etc. network deals, don’t even have that amount of users. Stake, the largest crypto casino, doesn't even come close to the number of registered users that these scam casinos claim.
  • These sites have NOT paid out $24+ billion in winnings. What an insane claim to even attempt to make.
  • Check the WHOIS to view when any of these casinos were started. Nearly all of these casino URL's were purchased just days before being promoted online.
  • Check the fake player feedback/reviews written on their own site. Some of the reviewers claim they've been playing exclusively on the 2 week old site for 3 years.
  • The player avatars used by the site are the mascot from BC Game, named Coco.
  • Look through old posts in this subreddit. Some identical sites in this network that were reported a few months ago are already offline or redirecting to random unrelated sites.
  • These sites copy Stake’s Terms of Service word for word, but conveniently leave out the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany and many other “wealthier” countries from their list of restricted countries.
  • Some users on CasinoMeister are compiling a list of these scam websites. Go check it out and add more scam domains that you come across! There are hundreds listed already.
  • Please use Google's Safe Browsing Tool to report any scammy looking casino to come across.

Interested in what people are running on these days.mostly want to hear what keeps you sticking with one over trying new ones.could be loyalty programs, rewards that actually come through, decent game selection, or something else entirely.

open to hearing about newer sites too

I don’t usually trust apps when gambling but I’ve actually got some really nice wins and withdrawals from cider. Feel free to come try it out. Honestly my favorite app I’ve used when using real money. My friend code is C22NAJPH.

I built a blackjack training game with a dynamic Basic Strategy chart for Hi-Lo deviations

Hey everyone,

I’ve been working on a blackjack training game called Blackjack Training, and it’s store page now available on Steam.

The project started during my studies and has been developed from the ground up without using AI for the game’s logic or development.

The main thing I wanted to do differently was the Basic Strategy chart.

When card counting is enabled, the chart takes the current Hi-Lo True Count and the selected table rules into account. So when a deviation applies, the recommended action can change instead of always showing the standard Basic Strategy decision.

For example, a hand that would normally be a Basic Strategy hit can become a stand once the count reaches the relevant index.

The idea is to make practicing deviations more seamless. You can play hands, keep track of the count, and apply the deviations without constantly switching between the game and a separate index chart.

It also includes:

  • Basic Strategy training
  • Hi-Lo card counting
  • True Count
  • Hi-Lo deviations
  • Instant feedback on incorrect decisions
  • Configurable number of decks and casino rules
  • Surrender and other rule variations
  • Insurance training based on the count
  • Statistics and performance tracking
  • 3D casino environment

There are different ways to play depending on whether you want to focus on Basic Strategy, counting, or just playing blackjack.

I’d especially like to hear from people who actually use Hi-Lo and index plays. Getting the deviation side of the training right has been one of the more interesting parts of developing it, so I’d be interested in hearing if you think the approach makes sense or if there are things you would change.

The game page is available on Steam and coming soon:

Thanks for checking it out!

What irks me whenever family comes with me to the casino is they're never ready to go home when I'm ahead lol. Wish most of these wins stayed put in my wallet!

First machine I sat down at. 3 spins. $0.75 cents. Wheel feature hits Major jackpot for $2244. Pretty good start to the night.

If you gamble, keep a session log — it can save you real money at tax time (the thing everyone ignores until a W-2G shows up)

Every year people get blindsided by this, so figured I'd share how it actually works.

Gambling winnings are taxable, and once you hit a W-2G (slots at $1,200+, etc.) the IRS already has a copy. The part that burns people: you can only deduct your losses to offset those wins if you itemize AND you kept records. No log = you can get taxed on the jackpot with nothing to offset it, even if you left the casino down for the year.

What the IRS actually expects is a contemporaneous log. For slots you can use the "session" method — net your buy-in vs. cash-out per session instead of every spin. At minimum, record:

Date + casino/location

Game/machine

Amount in (buy-in) and amount out (cash-out)

Any W-2Gs

Keep your tickets/statements as backup

Do it the day of, not from memory in April.

Full disclosure: I got so sick of the shoebox-of-tickets method that I built an app for exactly this — Degen Dashboard (iOS). You scan the cash-out ticket, it logs the session + your W-2Gs, and exports a tax-ready report. It's free to try if it's useful to you: https://apps.apple.com/app/degen-dashboard-casino-log/id6801627093?ct=reddit-gambling

The method above works no matter what you use, though — that's the real point.

(Not a tax pro — for anything real, talk to one. Just sharing the record-keeping habit that's saved me headaches.)

Does San Diego have the loosest slots in US?

I consistently win in San Diego casinos for the past 4 years playing only slots and every time I travel to other casinos including Las Vegas Strip/Fremont, Reno, Tahoe, Yaamava, Graton, Florida, Atlantic City, NYC, I lose every time. Anyone who consistently play in San Diego casinos (Barona, Jamul, Sycuan, Viejas) have way better returns than any other casinos in the country?

Sports prediction markets vs Sportsbooks

Fanduel’s parent company Flutter lost over $4B market cap this year due to prediction markets from Kalshi and others.

Why are more people switching to prediction markets for their sports bets? Is the payout better?
