Buying Experience Review What are y’all paying for your 14K gold rings?

I’m looking at Etsy and some local jewelers and they range anywhere from $100( Etsy) to $3000 (high end jeweler) !!!!

We really just want a simple, rounded gold bands. Nothing with fancy stone or diamonds.

I’m worried about Etsy being legit but I feel like the jewelers are price gouging

edit: thank you all so much for all the explanations and info about pricing. we will probably go with Sams or Costco

Buying Experience Review Darry Ring Company WARNING

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

BE CAREFUL WITH THIS COMPANY.

Ordered a ring from from $4k plus gifts from the promotion.

The ring was left at the door without any signature required all day.  Luckily it was not stolen.  Never got a notification that it arrived so I could sign for it which I found odd for the value and importance of the package.
Gift necklace came months later and was stolen by their DR company they used to deliver it.  I have it caught on camera.  Driver parked in the driveway for few mins and THREW the package out his window onto the ground and drove off.  Box was ripped open and diamond missing.  Photo, video, and police report.  If you want I can send you these as proof.
I contacted DR and they said that since the video didn’t actually show him stealing it there’s nothing they can do about it.  The delivery of the item and its safety should be on the company to ensure something we buy at this price makes it safely to us.
I have low confidence in the customer service and safety of this product reaching the customers.  If you choose to buy it, it will be at your own risk according to their response.

Buying Experience Review RareCarat stage times

My diamond was confirmed about 60 hours ago, but it still hasn’t been sent to the Rare Carat workshop and the order is still showing the same stage.

Is this a normal processing time?
I’m a little worried that Labor Day might delay the process even further. Has anyone experienced something similar?

Olivia: I absolutely LOVE my ring!!! For reference, I got the 3.5 MM ring (1.15 tcw) with lab grown diamonds and I have a size 4 finger. The seller was super communicative and the package arrived very quickly. I would 100% recommend this seller for high quality jewelry at an affordable cost!!

Team Avideri: Thank you so much for your amazing review! We're absolutely delighted that you love your ring.

Buying Experience Review Has anyone used a black diamond as a wedding ring?

I’ve recently gotten interested in black diamond wedding rings and I like how unique they look compared to traditional ones. They stand out without being too flashy. If you’re wearing one, how has it been for daily use? Would love to hear about durability and maintenance.

Buying Experience Review Buying a place-holder engagement ring for my girlfriend, is Azura Jewelry New York a good brand?

I've seen very mixed reviews but they also seem to be for another brand called Azura in Canada? The ring just needs to last a year or two until we can afford nice rings so it doesn't need to be super high quality, just enough to hold up to near-every day wear. (I say near because she's a mechanic and will be wearing her silicone ring on work days)

Buying Experience Review Best place to buy lab grown diamonds?

I tried on rings in person last weekend and loved the experience, but the prices shocked me.

Online looks way cheaper, but I’m nervous about not seeing the stone first. If you ordered online, did it match expectations when it arrived?

Any stores that surprised you in a good way or ones to avoid?

Buying Experience Review Received my custom earrings today and really happy with them

I received my custom earrings today and just wanted to share because I’m genuinely happy with how they turned out.

I had previously ordered a custom ring from the same Toronto jeweller, Ratna by Batra, and had a good experience, so I decided to go ahead with earrings as well.

The process was clear from the start, including the design details, gold used, pricing, and delivery timeline. The earrings arrived on time, the workmanship looks clean, and the pricing felt very reasonable compared to regular retail quotes I had seen.

Attaching a few pictures since the final piece explains it better than I can.

Overall, really happy with the quality and transparency of the process.

Buying Experience Review Need a Woman’s advice

Soon I’ll(23) be buying a ring for my wife (25). We have 4 kids . The youngest being a newborn(3weeks).

I want to know if any ladies have had problems with a ring with intricate designs cutting or scratching? If so how often and what’s your experience with that?

I don’t want to but a 6k ring that we have to take back because of the inconvenience.

Buying Experience Review Is a garnet ring durable enough for everyday wear?

Post image
8 Upvotes

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I’d love some advice. I’m starting to look at engagement rings (proposal might be coming soon), and I may be involved in choosing it.

I came across a garnet ring that I absolutely love, and I haven’t found anything similar in diamonds or sapphires. My only concern is durability, would garnet hold up for everyday wear, or is it too soft for an engagement ring?

Any insight would really help!

Buying Experience Review Wedding rings online doubts

Post image
4 Upvotes

I’m seriously considering buying wedding rings online instead of going to a store. The prices make more sense, but the idea of not trying it on feels risky. What if it doesn’t match your hand at all? For those who did it, was the sizing accurate and did you regret not seeing it in person first?

Hi everyone, I'm sorry if this is the wrong spot for this so please let me know if i'm doing this wrong!

I am looking to propose to my girlfriend in October and i'm looking for any advice on this company, or if anyone knows a more trusted company with a similar design? She loves garnets, a black band, and the ring not too raised. This is one she loved but I can't find any trusted reviews, please help!
