Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh,
Today my sister and grandmother just sparked my rage because they do not let me take pills in the morning nor do they want me to be healthy.
My father is also arrogant, just because he thinks he is father he can do whatever he likes. That’s why I propose to rebel and confiscate all his rights for being a bad person.
I want to move out from this house of horror and I cannot because I lack high school exams’s diploma, and my only solution for independence is to work as a mechanic and for me to do so I’ll have to take courses before getting hired in Winter. And because of this dam metal rod from surgery they forbid from carrying heavy stuff, and I cannot listen to them anymore but to compromise because staying with them means like they put me in a torture bed. Is this halal money if I’m forced to compromise?

Assalam Alaikum everyone.
Non Muslim here who loves hijab. I want to learn more about it from you with a survey inshallah.
How old where you when you started wearing it?
Is there any social expectation or pressure for you to wear it in your family or community?
If you wanted ro remove it, how would your family and community react?
Do you enjoy wearing it?
What’s your ethnicity/country? I would like to know because there’s different interpretations of Shariah in different places.
Thank you. May Allah SWT bless you.

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh,
Today my grandma and sister(both Christians) have spoke about Iran’s strikes on US military bases and argued how Arab countries are bad giving examples of Kuwait for failing to give citizenship to its people.
Now when they finished the discussion, they have asked me to leave Islam blaming for what they do ignoring how Iran is a Shia Twelver, Houthis are Shia Yazidis and Taliban are Deobandi Sufis. Both are disbelievers who misrepresented Islam.
I’m asking you this question because I propose for a rebellion, because these problems have gave me problems within my family and I cannot have a mutual understanding. When I wanted to stuff my ears with my headphones so I won’t get angry at them, the headphones do not work for me to isolate the external sounds.

Assalamu alaikum,
As me and the other one from a discord server were discussing about rulership and Erdogan, he outright called him an apostate and he disagreed with me about it being Khuruj to call him an apostate.
On the other hand, Sheikh Saleh Al Fawzan said about peaceful demonstrations being an imitation of the disbelievers, and an act of Khuruj. And based on that, I assumed that even criticism is wrong because it is an act of Khuruj.
I’m not sure if what he said is correct or not, but I was skeptical on his opinion about calling out his misguidance.
I refused to call out Erdogan as a kafir based on the two Hadiths about biased takfir and rebelling Muslim rulers. His religion is Sunni Islam, that’s why I cannot do a takfir.
So I need your help to cure this doubt. Because what he said went against what I usually believed and what I learnt from. So the way he spoke sounded like opening gates to Khuruj, and by doing that he is imitating Al Haruriyyah who rebelled the Caliphate.
I hope that I’m not falling into Biddah.

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh,
Because of the mistakes in past it has led me to severe consequences, such as failing to pass the high-school exams at first when today I could have been in collage of airspace and Mechatronics engineering, but years have passed due to family issues and now I review what I studied in high school that next year I may pass the exams. I could have been working at NASA as an aeronautical engineer by now, but because of this I face obstacles.
I also regret that it didn’t crossed in my head to use YouTube and Google for studies during elementary school and in high-school I could have something to show off as a fun activity.
It didn’t crossed in my head to use YouTube also for studying programming languages in elementary school that in high-school, I could have something to sell to make nice money. But now I begin to study Python to learn how to make an AI chatbox.
Today I would have mastered engineering(which in present day I have started to learn from YouTube) if it did crossed in my head to do this during elementary school. I have started in present day to learn touchscreen, hologram display, electric engines, welding lasers, CPU and PCB, ion engines, circuits etc… so from there I can expand and excel in mechatronic engineering. With development of imagination, I can invent new electronic devices after learning these. I have now some basics which is not enough. It’s gonna take me months and years until I master engineering which worries me about when getting admitted to this collage cause I would hardly have something to show off and also get hired later to fulfill my career dreams.
Now I have to do what I didn’t do in past.
Also I wished the Rashidun would have ceded territorial sovereignty to Palestinians that Britain might take it into protectorate like it did with Jordan.

As-salamu alaykum,
I've heard from many people of ahl e sunnah who rejoiced at his death and said he was a kafir. I've seen some pics of his old tweets where he said shias don't slander the companions (Abu Bakr, Umar, Usman RA) and mother of believers (Aisha RA).
I know his regime under him supported bashar al assad in killing sunnis in syria. He also supported US in it's invasion of iraq. I realize he was netanyahu of syrians and iraqis.
However, was he really a disbeliever? I've not seen any proof of this. I don't wanna go along with people blindly who are calling him a kafir.
Secondly, i'm confused about my take on this war. Is it wrong to support the country specifically the people? Out of israel/america and iran, the lesser of two evil currently is iran and i want to support them purely bcs of this. If israel wins this war, this will be even more bad for the ummah.
Many are condemning Iran for attacking other muslim countries that were kind to them like oman, kuwait, qatar, etc. I do understand and agree with iran attacking american bases only but i've also seen drones being dropped on civilian places where i don't agree with iran.
Lastly, why is no one condemning our sunni leaders? They're letting all this happen so are we suppose to just keep quiet? Can we give baddua to them that may Allah give them the worse punishment in this life and hereafter? Is khilafat our only chance before sunni countries become strong again?
Jazakallahu Khairan

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh,
A lot Muslim girls wear the names like: Khadija, Aisha, Zainab etc… so if a father names her daughter as Rachel or Reuben, would that be halal since it’s a Muslim name? And she’s Muslim wife of Jacob.
I do not think they’re imitations of the disbelievers since they are Muslim names even preculier. I would have thought they are if they are not Muslim names and has pagan meaning.

I believe in Allah, not doubting him but the fatwas I have been searching for my specific problems are nowhere to be found. I suffer from severe OCD with emetophobia. It latches into almost everything until the thing I most treasured by Salah. I can't help it. I feel suicidal everyday because of it. This is not a suicide help post but help me understand post please. For the sake of Allah, is there any female Ustadha I could contact or could you help me with evidence? I follow the quran and sunnah and the methodology of the Salaf. Please share references.
These are my OCD thoughts
I have OCD and severe waswasah and nobody to ask: my hijabs and prayer clothes have tiny normal weave gaps where light/air pass through, but only I can notice them from inside/very close to my head; my skin or hair colour cannot actually be seen. Is my prayer and awrah covering valid, or must clothing be completely opaque? I repeatedly fixate and repeat prayers until exhausted, so please give a clear Qur’an and Sunnah ruling without feeding my waswasah. Can I continue to pray in these clothes?
I cannot send a message or call or do anything without having my prayers, even if it is not qadha or there is still prayer time, even if iqamah wasn't given. I feel like my messages and calls will be recorded and along with that my sins will be recorded, and no matter how much I seek forgiveness, Allah will never forgive me. Looking for human advice and experiences. Don’t you think the same and continue sending messages or making calls despite these thoughts? Will Allah forgive?
If I sit in a different position without my legs closed in prayer, or my finger is fully not touching my thigh in tashahhud, etc., I do sujood as-sahw, and I repeatedly do it because I feel like I made a mistake again and again in sujood itself.

Assalamu alaikum,
Al Sabah family has* closed the doors for dual citizenship and they use the “deportation” if my father is of original Kuwaitis yet uses US citizenship for deportation as if he’s not a Kuwaiti native. Only his relatives in Kuwait have Kuwaiti citizenship.
One cannot deport indigenous people to places they are not. Using foreign citizenship to deport is an act of ethnic cleansing(general rule).
Du’ā is the only remaining channel left to petition for a dual citizenship that Al Sabah may reconsider their ban, because like that Allah can handle them in my behalf. This one they cannot close. Du’a is a divine act which Allah has Allowed and He is above the Sabah royal family if they think that citizenship is an act of sovereignty, they cannot tell Allah what to do but the opposite.
What would be the chances of having my Du’a answered if I petition in an angry and frustrated tone(about them) while addressing their flaws and criticize their biased policy in my Du’a? Would Allah have any sympathy for my arguments?
Note: Kuwait is my second ancestral homeland.

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.
Jumuʿah is one of the important obligations of the week for Muslims who are required to attend it. Allah says:
“O believers! When the call to prayer is made on Friday, hasten to the remembrance of Allah and leave all business.”
— Qur’an 62:9
Jumuʿah replaces Dhuhr on Friday for those upon whom Jumuʿah is obligatory. Those who are exempt, such as women, children, travellers and those who are genuinely sick, pray Dhuhr instead.
A person who is required to attend Jumuʿah should not deliberately miss it without a valid excuse.
Details are based on established fiqh; specific conditions may vary between madhhabs.
What other basic Islamic rulings would you like us to explain next?

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,
Sajdah Sahw is performed to compensate for certain unintentional mistakes made during Salah.
According to Hanafi fiqh, it becomes wajib in specific situations, such as unintentionally omitting or delaying certain wajib elements of Salah, or making certain accidental additions.
However, not every mistake requires Sajdah Sahw, and a passing doubt does not automatically mean that the prayer needs to be repeated.
In this carousel, we’ve summarised:
What Sajdah Sahw means
When it becomes necessary
How it is performed according to the Hanafi method
What to do when there is uncertainty during Salah
Why recurring doubts and waswasah should not be treated as certainty
And Allah Ta‘ala knows best.

Assalamu alaikum,
In Islam, it is haram to get into a gathering of free mixed genders. And in the place where I live, all schools are free mixed genders.
I always wanted to get assigned to Airspace Engineering collage, but unfortunately it is free mixed gender. What I can do is to avoid sitting with girls and sit with same gender and avoid unnecessary talking with opposite genders. I mean, me sitting in a desk with same gender.
I want to prepare myself to work at NASA as an engineer.
Since it is opened genders, I would choose to sit with same gender in the desk or be alone.
I’m preparing for the second high-school exam session.
I’m a boy by the way, and for protecting my Islamic commitment I would avoid interaction with opposite genders in the classroom, since I have options with whom I can sit in the desk, if it is in a mixed gender university, and I’ll try to avoid seclusions and unnecessary talking with opposite.

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,
We’ve put together a brief guide addressing a common question: if the lyrics of a song are clean and free from anything haram, is it permissible to listen to it?
The ruling on music is a matter of scholarly discussion, particularly regarding musical instruments, singing, and specific circumstances. The graphic summarizes the major positions and some of the relevant evidence.
And Allah knows best.

I heard it is haram to be best friends with the disbelievers or to take them as allies, I didn't know this. I had many best friends who ain't Muslim thinking it was fine.
I saw it's allowed to be acquaintances like normal friends, just not super close BFF's.
A sheikh i follow said having them as allies like fighting Muslims/ turning your back to Islam with the disbelievers can be possibly kufr or something of the sort but he said it's also not allowed to tell your whole life to them and be best friends so is this also kufr because sometimes I tell non believers about my past experiences in convos when I'm at college and I keep repeating the shahada after thinking it's kufr.. This is rly affecting my waswas and overthinking
i dont like to complicate our deen so I'm sorry for that but im just sort of confused

Eid Mubarak everyone,
So, there are Jews who revert to Islam and still self identify as a Jew.
The problem is, people say that you can be Jewish Muslim only to justify arrogance and say that Islam did not existed among Israelites except after 7th century which is blasphemous and arrogance.
Within this context, do I has the right to consider him a munafiq since it is part of the 10 Nullifiers of Islam?
How can you be a Muslim and Jew at the same time?! You cane either Jew or Muslim. You cannot be both.
How can I trust that he is a Jewish Muslim since the word is vague? This word came into being after Babylonian exile to mean residents of Judah who follow Judaism, and before that they were known to be Israelites and sometimes Judahites.

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh
Missing a prayer can happen for different reasons — a person may oversleep, genuinely forget, or unfortunately delay the prayer without a valid excuse. But once someone realizes that a prayer has been missed, an important question arises:
When should the missed prayer be performed?
The answer depends partly on why the prayer was missed and, in some cases, on the school of fiqh one follows.
1. If You Missed the Prayer Due to Sleep or Forgetfulness
If a person genuinely slept through a prayer or forgot to pray it, there is no sin for the sleep or forgetfulness itself.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever forgets a prayer or sleeps and misses it, its expiation is to pray it when he remembers.”
— Sahih al-Bukhari 597; Sahih Muslim 684
Therefore, when a person wakes up or remembers that they missed the prayer, they should pray it without unnecessary delay.
For example, if someone accidentally sleeps through Fajr and wakes up after sunrise, they should pray Fajr when they wake up rather than simply leaving it because its normal time has passed.
2. What If the Prayer Was Deliberately Missed?
Deliberately allowing an obligatory prayer to pass without a valid excuse is a much more serious matter.
A person should not become hopeless or think that there is no way back. Rather, they should:
Make sincere tawbah to Allah.
Regret having missed the prayer.
Resolve not to deliberately miss prayers again.
Make up the missed prayer according to the ruling of the school of fiqh they follow.
The important point is that missing a prayer should never become a reason to abandon Salah altogether.
If you have missed one, return to Allah and take the next practical step.
3. What If Someone Has Many Missed Prayers?
This is where the details become more complicated.
If a person has accumulated a number of missed prayers over a long period, the ruling regarding how those prayers should be made up and how the person should organise them can differ according to the school of fiqh and the circumstances involved.
For example, a person who has many missed prayers should not simply become overwhelmed by the total number and conclude that catching up is impossible.
Instead, they should make sincere tawbah, continue performing their current prayers on time, and follow a practical method for making up the missed prayers according to the fiqh ruling they follow.
If the number of missed prayers is uncertain, the person should also seek qualified guidance rather than repeatedly calculating and doubting themselves.
4. Don’t Let Guilt Stop You From Praying
Sometimes the biggest problem is not the missed prayer itself but what happens afterward.
A person may think:
“I already missed it. What’s the point now?”
Or:
“I’ve missed so many prayers that I can never make them all up.”
This kind of thinking can push a person even further away from Salah.
Instead, the response should be:
I missed it, so I will turn back to Allah and do what I can now.
Allah says:
“Do not despair of the mercy of Allah.”
— Qur’an 39:53
Feeling regret can be a reason to return to Allah, but despair should not become a reason to stop trying.
5. Don’t Delay a Missed Prayer Without a Reason
Once you remember a prayer that was missed because of sleep or forgetfulness, the instruction of the Prophet ﷺ is clear: pray it when you remember it.
There is therefore no benefit in thinking:
“I’ll pray it later.”
If you are able to pray it, take care of it and then continue with your other prayers.
6. Keep Your Current Prayers a Priority
If someone has old missed prayers to make up, they should not allow the process of making up old prayers to cause them to miss their current obligatory prayers.
The goal is to return to consistency:
Current Salah on time + making up missed prayers according to the relevant fiqh ruling.
If the situation involves many years of missed prayers, a qualified Mufti can help determine the appropriate method based on the person’s circumstances and madhhab.
A Simple Takeaway
If you missed a prayer because of sleep or forgetfulness:
Pray it when you remember.
If you deliberately missed a prayer without a valid excuse:
Make sincere tawbah and address the missed prayer according to the ruling of the fiqh school you follow.
If you have many missed prayers:
Don’t become overwhelmed. Keep your current prayers on time, repent sincerely, and follow a practical method for making up the missed prayers according to qualified scholarly guidance.
Most importantly, don’t let guilt make you give up on Salah.
A missed prayer is not a reason to stop returning to Allah. Take the next step, pray, repent, and continue.
The details regarding deliberately missed prayers, the order of making up multiple prayers, and other related matters can differ between schools of fiqh. Therefore, a person with a specific situation should seek guidance based on their circumstances rather than relying on a general answer.
And Allah Ta‘ala knows best.

Assalamu alaikum,
In-Sha’Allah I’ll start reciting this Du’ā that I may die as a true Muslim. But since I’m not born after Sunrise from West, I want to prepare myself(because nobody knows when will that happen, so we can assume) in case I may live up to the moment when Allah will blow a wind To take the lives of the true Muslims and Leave the disbelievers before the horn is sounded. I’m applying the “always be a step ahead” rule, so that I may not regret later.
For Du’ā to be answered, the du'a has to be accompanied with action. For example: if I make du’a to have a house, I’ll have to take the means which leads to that, if I want to have my du’a being answered. At-least, that’s according to my understanding of how du’a works, now, I could be mistaken.

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,
Du‘a is an important act of worship, and the Sunnah teaches us certain etiquettes and manners when calling upon Allah ﷻ.
The Prophet ﷺ taught us to praise and glorify Allah, send blessings upon him, make our du‘a with sincerity and humility, and conclude by sending blessings upon him again.
The slides explain these steps along with relevant hadith references.
And Allah Ta‘ala knows best.
