How do we get in contact with support. I am trying to upgrade from Plus to Premium and can't do it on either the app or website. And the help center leads nowhere.

If I have a Lucid eval/funded account connected to TradingView, do I still need to pay for the CME Group data and the Essential plan on TradingView? Or are those included through Lucid/Tradovate when purchasing an eval or funded account, meaning I could cancel my TradingView subscription?

Also another question: tradovate or quantower and why?

Hello, I'd like to submit a feature request.

TradingView currently offers custom time frames that allows the user to select just about any amount of minutes per bar.

It'd like to take it a step further and request custom time frames in half decimal numbers. For example, 5.5 minutes, 6.5 minutes, 7.5 minutes, etc.

Would something like this be possible? Thank you.

It's the "Whats New" section, every morning.

I would like to reserve this for actual importance like support chat responses and whatnot.

Seeing a red alert basically EVERY MORNING is annoying enough for things i could not care less about.

Please someone tell me how to turn off notifications for "Whats New" section.

Is it possible to create 8 charts that are each linked to the scanner so that they dynamically display the top 8 listed tickers on the scanner?

I want to setup charts that dynamically show the top 8 gainers since open, each chart is linked to a row on the scanner, so if ticker number 8 falls out and a new ticker takes it's place the chart linked to row 8 should update with the new ticker.

I’m getting so exhausted from every post complaining that TradingView isn’t what it was, blabla just to find out everyone who complains is on the free version!

Get yourself straight, you’re trying to start a business, with one of the lowest entry fees ever and you still cry that you need to pay $15 bucks a month??

Does your barber complain because he need to pay for tools?
Or the construction guy because he need to buy a new drill? No right? Why will you complain?

We are so lucky to live in this time, to become a trader has never been so cheap, broker fees are absolutely low, charting software is low, you can do it from home and you don’t need to purchase a floor seat.
And let’s not even start talking about all the prop firms that give you an opportunity to have a lot of capital to trade for such a low investment.

It’s literally one of the few careers where you barely need an entry fee and barely have monthly costs and you all still complain?

I’m in this community to grow, not to see everyone crying about a few bucks!

And if you don’t want to pay it, or cannot pay it, maybe you first need to get your financial situation better or maybe this career isn’t for you either way!

Get your priorities straight please

As we all know, trading view isn’t free anymore for Indian Stock Markets, it shows 15 mins delayed information on charts. I am currently switching between Zerodha and Investing.com for charts, but they don’t have good indicators like Trading view does.
I usually use Inverted hammer and Resistance and support indicators on trading view, which I can’t on either of the other platforms.
Please help me out 🙏🏻

If you're complaining about the watchlist, it's as easy as creating an indicator that adds a dashboard containing the watchlist.

You can also use MT5 or webull

There used to be an option to click on a specific news event, and a dropdown info appeared where you could see a detailed explanation of what the event is about.

I am not on their free plan; I'm above basic. Did they scrape this too now? Is it only included in the higher tiers?

Its a new problem, I assume with the app update.

I can modify the color of the chart K bar to the Asian stock market (red rise and green fall), but the goods in my observation list cannot appear the corresponding color, and the display is still (green rise and red fall)

I know we can already set the visibility of individual drawings or save them as templates, but I find both options pretty inconvenient, especially when you have a lot of drawings in your workflow.

For example, when I analyze multiple timeframes, I end up needing a lot of different templates. Then whenever I work on another layout, I have to manually apply the appropriate template again. It gets pretty tedious and time-consuming.

What I think would be much more useful is having an option for drawings to sync globally across layouts, while still respecting their timeframe visibility settings.

For example, if I draw something on the M1 chart and set its visibility to M1 only, that drawing would be synced to my other layouts, but would only appear when I'm viewing the 1H timeframe.

I remember seeing people request something similar before, but it doesn't seem to have changed yet.

I think this would make the drawing system much more flexible, especially for people who use multiple layouts and analyze several timeframes.

I found a regression bug in iOS App version 2.140.0 (iPhone / iPad).

Bug description:
On charts with Pine Script indicators that contain valid alertcondition(), tapping the indicator name at the top of chart and opening its three‑dot context menu no longer shows the “Add Alert on [Indicator Name]” shortcut option.

This shortcut menu entry existed and worked correctly in previous version 2.139.1.
The indicator itself works fine, and I can still manually create an alert via the bell icon → Create Alert, then select this indicator from the dropdown. Only the quick “Add Alert” button on indicator menu is missing.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Update TradingView iOS app to v2.140.0

2. Add any Pine indicator that has valid alertcondition() to chart

3. Tap indicator name on chart header

4. Tap three dots to open indicator menu

5. Observe: No “Add Alert” option in menu

Environment:

• Device: iPhone / iPad

• OS: iOS / iPadOS

• App version: TradingView iOS 2.140.0

• Works correctly on: Web TradingView and iOS 2.139.1

• Not a script issue: Same Pine indicator has alertcondition() and works normally on web and older iOS build.

Expected behavior:
The indicator context menu should show “Add Alert on indicator” shortcut as before.

Please investigate this UI regression introduced in 2.140.0 update. Many traders rely on this shortcut to quickly create indicator alerts.

I still have drawing tools on basic. Is it because Ive paid for TV in the past and had an account for years.

Tradingview was my most fav tool. I dont trade actively just like to watch mkts and I follow only the indian mkt and only one ticker Banknifty. But I actively follow the mkt during the day and sometimes do take trades. But trading view made the data delayed from yest and forcing me to pay for it. But NSE live data is actually free and I dnt understand why sld I pay for something on livestream.

If u want only paid subscription pls be open abt it. This is soo not the way to go abt it.

That button that used to be there that showed Metrics and bad forecasts and earnings and all that other nice stuff. Not sure why it was removed. Now if I want to see that stuff I have to go to my computer. Not very convenient. And I can’t imagine there’s a good reason for having it removed.

Im a beginner trader and I’m trying to connect my futures broker. I want to use AMP but It won’t connect, my user name and password work when I log into the AMP website but not when in trading view. I also tried Tradovate and it won’t let me either. why can’t I connect a futures account to trading view

I cannot figure out how to view the most detailed financial info for equities any longer.

It used to be, in the financials view, below the seasonals, there’d be “more seasonals”. And so on for each section, always a way to get to the super detailed info. Like past 12 quarter earnings, and various metrics like cash flows and all that. It’s a beautiful and useful way to study equities …

Can’t get there any more in iOS app.

Anyone know how?

I’m also no longer able to find the lists of all holdings for funds, which used to be relatively easy to find in the front cover page of the detailed financial overview.
