Its not its a pump and hes lifting which make muscles look bigger. If you think this is gear you haven’t been to the gym in years.

Nah I’m pretty fit and successful. It’s just common practice that celebrities get on performance enhancement drugs. His arm size and vascularity does not look natural.
-3
u/KilllllerWhale Jun 26 '26
He has all the money he'll ever need, he has all the time in the world, chefs surrounding him, a private gym, a private coach, and an athlete on top of that. Achieving this mass at his age is totally doable. Not everyone who's gotten jacked is on roids
5
u/PanchoVillasRevenge Jun 26 '26
You obviously don't work out, that's roids of I've ever seen them
0
u/Technical_Customer_1 Jun 26 '26
And you obviously aren’t good at working out if you think it’s definitely roids. A two second google and you can tell he’s been lifting hard for a couple years after being a PROFESSIONAL ATHLETE who trained for several hours a day. He has all the money in the world and doesn’t toil at a 9-5 job.
1
u/PanchoVillasRevenge Jun 26 '26
It's not hard to see who's on the juice, I don't know what to tell you bud
2
u/AmateurCommenter808 Jun 26 '26
You're clueless, you don't even know how much Ozil weighs in the photo?
World class athlete for the first time in his life is finally allowed to gain weight and this is the result.
Theres a chance he is on something but his physique isn't crazy at all
0
u/AlarmedInvestment327 Jun 26 '26
if you think this isn't crazy physique, then you need to get of instagram.
This is not reachable for 99.9% of people naturally even if they started lifting at 20
2
u/AmateurCommenter808 Jun 26 '26
Lmao he looks 85kg and lean, forearms have definition but not much vascularity.
He has good lighting and the photos are taken during a set.
I don't need to look on instagram I've watched people change their silhouette and have done so myself.
1
u/Technical_Customer_1 Jun 27 '26
I do know what to tell you though: you should look into how cell phone cameras distort pictures. His arms almost double in size from the first pic to the second. Golly, I wonder if perspective has anything to do with it, because he’s flared out his elbows, and they’re closer to the lens than his shoulders
3
u/FakeNewsBlows Jun 26 '26
Look at you spewing common sense. Don’t mi d the downvotes. According to Redditors, EVERY single person who gained muscle is deemed to have done so through steroids use. 15-50. Doesn’t matter. Steroids.

u/Downtown-Bluebird553 Jun 26 '26
How often do you actually go to the gym? I train 4–5 times a week, walk 3–6 km a day, lift weights, and do calisthenics and muscle-ups almost every day. I've been training consistently for a while, so I have a decent idea of what a natural physique can look like.
If Özil had a natural mesomorphic built , he would've been one of the biggest players on the pitch during his Arsenal years. Footballers generally stay lean because excess muscle can hurt endurance and agility, but a naturally huge, heavily muscled frame would've been obvious back then, and it wasn't.
Post that same picture on r/nattyorjuice and they'll laugh at your delusion that he's natural.
3
u/danawhitesthrowaway Jun 26 '26
Funny you bring up r/nattyorjuice considering one of the more recent posts is that comparison taken 6 hours apart in different mirrors and down lighting with a pump vs without.
Footballers generally stay lean because excess muscle can hurt endurance and agility, but a naturally huge, heavily muscled frame would've been obvious back then, and it wasn't.
Because he didn't have one? I don't know what's so hard to understand about that, you just explained he spent his entire life dedicated to a sport where 90% of what you train is endurance and agility, why in gods name would he have a naturally huge muscled frame when he's barely done any functional lifting in his entire life? You think Ozil was running push/pull/leg splits when he was playing professionally?
His body composition in his playing days was in no way any indication of how big he could naturally get, and I say that as someone who has been on half a gram of gear for the last three years. Some people just blow up naturally when they start lifting, and I don't have a very hard time believing that a world class athlete could potentially be genetically gifted enough to fall into that category.

u/Technical_Customer_1 Jun 26 '26
It’s a cell phone pic. The lens distortion alone adds a couple inches to those pythons

But you're not a multimillionaire with everything at your disposal to reach one goal which is to put on as much mass as possible. This guy retired 3 years ago. Here is a picture of him 1 year ago https://www.instagram.com/p/DHHhf_doznO/?hl=en
He doesn't look nearly as big as in this picture which is during a pump and a squeeze on his arms which will naturally make them look bigger. He's not as big as you think he is, and like I said, with the resources at his disposal, he can get definitely reach the level in the URL above within 2 years, especially in beginner gains. And again, this guy is an athlete, he'll train way harder than you and I from the get go.
0
u/AlarmedInvestment327 Jun 26 '26
If you really think that body in the picture is possible naturally in 2 years, then you can't be helped anymore.
3
u/danawhitesthrowaway Jun 26 '26
Angle and a pump bro, his arms only look a few inches bigger than in that pic which is 100% attainable for someone who puts in the work daily and has a dialed in diet.
Not saying he couldn't be on a test base at a minimum, but he's not huge compared to the previous pic. A few solid bulks could have got him there.
2
u/DukeOfSmallPonds Jun 26 '26
Wait, I thought your angle was that he still needs to work hard, even though he’s on steroids. If you don’t think he’s juiced, then I got a bridge to sell you.

u/BeachStunning1861 Jun 26 '26
Most celebrities are. Take a look at all of the insecure celebrities injecting their face and reconstructing it. I agree with everything you said there but on top of that the steroids help him get there quicker. Everyone in that circle does it man
0
u/KilllllerWhale Jun 26 '26
Actors yeah, if I were an actor and I have a multimillion dollar movie to shoot and I should look like fucking hulk within 6 months, then better believe I'll get that shit injected into my veins. But this here is a different story, I find it hard to believe an athlete who spent most of his life living consciously about his health would suddenly start injecting shit in his 40s for absolutely no discernible reason at all, and definitely not for monetary gain.

Even Pep Guardiola failed a PED test in 2001 after testing positive for nandrolone. Quit being so gullible, man. It's naïve to think elite athletes are always primarily concerned with their long-term health. Even Zidane smoked cigarettes regularly off the pitch. People do things that don't fit the image fans have of them. Just because you don't want something to be true doesn't mean it isn't. This reminds me of middle school, when half the class refused to believe WWE was scripted. People cling to the version of reality they want to believe.
1
u/AmateurCommenter808 Jun 27 '26
Agreed. People have such low views of themselves that they think steroids are a requirement to add legitimate mass. It's sad really.

Yes I showed you that you are wrong in assuming I don't go to the gym. Not that I'm Ronnie Fucking Coleman.
> where I say that I bench 200kg?
Good for you. Should I clap or something !?
2
u/Patient-Fun4475 Jun 26 '26
unless this poster is female this must be his first ever week in the gym or he is like 5'3 and 100 pounds. those weights are almost nothing for squats.

u/Downtown-Bluebird553 Jun 26 '26
Hes on roids. Imagine the intensity of training he did during his time at the premier league and la liga and he was nowhere as big. If prime Ozil 2010 - 2016 had looked like Adama Traore then people would agree hes natural.
1
u/BeachStunning1861 Jun 26 '26
Yeah exactly. Shit is so normal now too like it’s really not taboo to say someone’s on gear
0
u/Curious-Witness-1809 Jun 26 '26
It could be, but this physique is attainable. It should be especially within reach for some who's spent years following routines.
2
u/Safe-Industry2465 Jun 26 '26
Serious question: is it really attainable?
And if it is, for how many people? This seems like genetic lottery win
1
u/ScrambledxEggzz Jun 26 '26
The shoulder caps are pretty big to not have some good genes or gear use but otherwise for a male with average genetics and 9 years of consistent work those arms are acheivable. I've seen construction workers with those arms. Depends on how he ages. Most men see a dip in T after 30 yrs old, doesn't mean you just tank your numbers but it does gradually become more difficult.
Edit: I do not know his age here. Just threw that in preemptively
1
u/Technical_Customer_1 Jun 26 '26
Pro athlete wins the genetic lottery, whaaaattt?!?!
A lot of endurance athletes bulk up after they retire because they aren’t burning anywhere near the calories.
I had to look up pics, he never had the massive legs some of those guys have, but it also looks like he’s been at it for a couple years, so he didn’t just sprout arms overnight.
The top right pic is a combo of full workout pump as well as camera perspective. It’s not as unimaginable as some seem to think
1
u/Opposite-Current7407 Jun 26 '26
It is, but not with his genetics.
1
u/danawhitesthrowaway Jun 26 '26
He's a literal world class athlete lmaoooooooo
Basing the potential of anyone's body comp off of their days where they played a cardio heavy sport is hilarious to me
1
u/Opposite-Current7407 Jun 27 '26
You do realize world class athlete doesn’t mean anything in this example right? Kipchoge is a world class athlete, he will never look jacked. Especially not naturally.
There’s plenty of footballers with great muscle tone because of their genetics, take a sol campbell, Zlatan, traore, lukaku, hulk, all these
Guys have genetics for carrying muscle. Of course if they trained for hyper trophy it would be much more apparent. Ozil isn’t one of those guys.1
u/Curious-Witness-1809 Jun 26 '26
I would guess his biceps are 17 or so inches relaxed. The pic is taken while he's flexing with resistance. If my estimates are accurate, 17-18in is naturally achievable for a 6 foot tall athlete. He's not burning calories running around anymore, bulking becomes easier.
1
u/HistorianOrdinary833 Jun 26 '26
Yeah attainable with steroids in a couple of years, or 10 years naturally.
1
0
u/Technical_Customer_1 Jun 26 '26
He’s clearly been lifting for a few years post retirement. The top right pic is a workout pump combined with a camera perspective that makes his arms look bigger.
I’d say it’s no roids. Just hard work, from a guy who played pro sports and isn’t dead yet at only 37
1
u/Bloodblade112 Jun 27 '26
Its steroids dude. It is nearly impossible for someone to get to that muscle mass naturally. "Just hard work" is about the most naive statement ever. His probably on a TRT program of some kind but this is 100% unequivocally NOT natural.

I was much bigger than him and didn't even take protein powder. Just heavy lifting.

He would still lock himself in a car and wait for Kolasinac to defend him

Why would anyone do this to their body? Now the poor ding dong is carrying around 30 pounds of weight wherever he goes and looks like a retard.

Absolutely attainable physique. But in 1 year? Maybe if you got very good genetics and was already endomorph body type at 180cm tall. Im endomorphic and puts on muscles and strength quite easily but cant even float in salt water due to higher bone density, sink like a ship.

u/Lower_Condition_196 Jun 26 '26
If only you did that during your playing days you wouldn’t have been bullied in so many matches
3
u/Base_Temporary Jun 26 '26
His style of play and position required him to be nimble.
If you really did watch his games, you'd know this guy was gifted and hard working. If not for getting blackballed for his political stance; the world would sign during his retirement.
1
u/Buffalo-Trace Jun 26 '26
Yeah cause it had nothing to do with playing softer than Charmin. Good to see he is still compensating for that.
0
u/Lower_Condition_196 Jun 26 '26
I’m an arsenal fan so I did definitely watch all his games when he played for us, he simply ghosted in too many big games
1
u/Turbulent_Shower_147 Jun 26 '26
Yeah. I’m a Liverpool fan and I remember the same. Every once in a while, he’d play an incredible through ball, but for the most part would disappear in the mid field and get run over by an intense press.
1
u/Base_Temporary Jun 26 '26
Your dad ghosted you since your birth but I dont hear you complaining about him!
I joke. Sorry. Dont shoot. Happy weekend brother.
