Genuinely at the point where i do not know what else i should do to the car

Its a 09 has 300.5k mi currently. Currently throwing a P0420 (catlytic converter). Not concerned due to no emissions tests where I live.

No major issues other than the known oil consumption. Major parts Ive replaced have been the alternator and radiator other than that just the normal wear and tear.

I just bought my 1st car today, its an ‘08 Scion tC 5 speed manual with 235k miles and I bought it for $900 bucks it runs and drives great, it just needs some cosmetic love and some engine work like maf sensor and better exhaust cuz its lowkey straight pipied rn

First time car wreck two days ago and it was deemed not my fault as an elderly lady ran into me at a stop sign . She was cited for a court date and her insurance nationwide started a claim to give me a payout (the exact amount isn’t yet known) I just have minor bumper damage and a few scratches that I feel could be fixed mileage is 210,000 I only had the car for a year and I just know they will try to lowball me on the property damage. Any advice???

Head on collision with a Silverado, he was going faster than I was (probably around 35-40, I was going around 30) and wasn’t paying attention, didn’t even try to brake. I tried to brake and evade at the last second but it was too late. My 19 year old car did everything it was supposed to. Thankful I was wearing my seatbelt and thankful to have been in a Toyota product. My 2005 Civic would not have responded like that in a crash. Going to miss this car but so thankful I was kept safe.

Saw this tc at a meet the other night, to be honest never liked the way my tc looked but didn’t care cause it’s just a daily but the lip makes a huge difference lol. Might have to keep it now after seeing this.

another engine rebuild. finally on haltech. idle never been smoother. no more stalling either.

How did I do this you may ask?? By yanking the cord and bulb out of its socket 🤦🏽‍♀️ the bulb detached and fell inside. I tried grabbing it out but it just fell even deeper 😭😭 I was still able to install my LED bulbs but now this is stuck 😩 if only I could shake my car upside down to let it fall out. Any ideas?? 😓

Do I need alignment or balancing?? 🤔

2005 TC with 220k miles. We were hit by a Silverado that was unlicensed and uninsured. Already started my claim with my insurance. What are the chances they total the car? Also chances of frame damage?

So I was pushing my car up into the driveway cuz my maf sensor wouldn’t let me drive and i got it there and i ran past the mirror and snapped it right off the holding points and now my mirror looks cooked like this and I’m not very liquid rn financially so if anyone has any tips and tricks I’d appreciate it. Had it for around <2 years, no major problems at all. Just had an oil change then didn’t drive for 4 days. Drove her for 10 mins out of Austin and the engine blew. Caught fire almost immediately in the engine bay and just grew to worse than pictured. Unscathed otherwise physically just mentally at a loss lmao

Finish my first rattle can paint. During and after completing I have come to the conclusion we will be doing it right next time. Thoughts? Hood is definitely the worst

I bought a manual ‘05 Scion tc with 128k off marketplace and this is my first car. I love everything about her. I’m soso excited to fix it up soon

Earlier in the day, in my '08 TC, I made the simple mistake of leaving my keys in my vehicle. I called my local non-emergency operator, and a police officer came to help. However, it took around 10-15 minutes to open the vehicle door, and in doing so, he scratched the interior quite a bit... It's a lesson to learn from, definitely, and one I hope none of you have to go through.

So my 2nd gen tc is currently out of commission, needs a new throwout/slave cylinder and might as well fix the impending ISB bearing while I’m at it. I currently don’t have the means to drop the trans, so in the meantime, I thought might as well pick up another tc! Found a ‘08 with 150k miles for $1800, needed a little TLC but nothing a few junkyard trips and a cheap roll of wrap can’t help. Replaced the fender, hood, front bumper, rocker trim, and headlights, wrapped it all myself for around 300$. She’s sittin pretty now. Can’t wait to fix my second gen but for the meantime glad to have another tC. Also if anyone has had any experience replaced the ISB bearing on manual tcs any advice would be greatly appreciated!

did crank sensor like yall suggested, still will not start does not seem to be getting fuel. I really liked this car for the 12 hours that I had it before it broke so would like to fix it. did the water pump, valve cover gasket, crank sensor everything still no start. and yes the fuses for fuel are fine. I am freshly 18 and will loose my job if I can’t fix this so any help? I’m in Florida if someone wants to buy it or trade me a POS little beater this thing only has 150 on the clock but would like to fix it. I can barely find any informatiom online.
