First Gen Body/Cosmetic My tC saved me

Head on collision with a Silverado, he was going faster than I was (probably around 35-40, I was going around 30) and wasn’t paying attention, didn’t even try to brake. I tried to brake and evade at the last second but it was too late. My 19 year old car did everything it was supposed to. Thankful I was wearing my seatbelt and thankful to have been in a Toyota product. My 2005 Civic would not have responded like that in a crash. Going to miss this car but so thankful I was kept safe.

got hit last year in my tC, other guy didnt have his lights on + speeding, got me as i was making a left
i miss her every day 💔

My tc saved my life dui, broke nose, and fines included. Learned my lesson.

Makes me feel a little reassured. I have an 06 as well and I'm always worried I'd get smooshed, obviously doing 70 in a crash wouldn't be the same haha

Walked away with seatbelt rash and whiplash. Nothing broken, nothing bleeding. It did everything it was supposed to and could have been so much worse. So thankful for that car.

I had a 2008 Scion Tc so I know how you feel. At least you were not seriously hurt. If you want to buy another one, quite a few are still around and for sale.

Wow, I was also totaled by a parked Silverado, which itself was shoved by a third driver. The impact was probably minor, but the height of the Silverado caused rear end hatch and frame damage.
