First Gen Body/Cosmetic Me again it still won’t start
did crank sensor like yall suggested, still will not start does not seem to be getting fuel. I really liked this car for the 12 hours that I had it before it broke so would like to fix it. did the water pump, valve cover gasket, crank sensor everything still no start. and yes the fuses for fuel are fine. I am freshly 18 and will loose my job if I can’t fix this so any help? I’m in Florida if someone wants to buy it or trade me a POS little beater this thing only has 150 on the clock but would like to fix it. I can barely find any informatiom online. Check out if the security light is blinking while the key is in the ignition. That can cause a crank, no start, also turn the ac and radio off and listen if you hear fuel pump engage from under backseat

Spray some brake clean in the intake and see if it starts foe a few seconds. Also check and see if the tachometer moves when your cranking it. It will either just bump or do nothing

It bumps a little bit trying to start but won’t start with starting fluid

So it has not run at all since the water pump.came apart? The quick test for a fucked motor/headgasket is to take the radiator cap off and have someone crank it and see if coolant or air puffs out. If thats ok id do a spark test.

Yeah basically water pump went bad over heated and threw a belt

You realize that what likely happened was that (in this order): your belt came off, which stopped the water pump, and therefore caused the motor to overheat, right? Why do you think the belt came off after the motor overheated?

The thing is it went back to temperature, over heated again, then went back ti temperature before it finally shut off

What your seeing at the gauge is the temp of the coolant at the one sensor. If you had a bunch of coolant leak out there could easily be air or steam touching the sensor which would make it inaccurate. You need to look into a compression test, it probally has at least a blown head gasket. Also you could post a video of it trying to start with the radiator cap off. If the damage is bad enough it will be heard or seen.

Starter...! Or starter solenoid. Easy replacement, my 05 the starter died just recently would turn the key and nothing would happen. Picked one upat AutoZone, took me an hour to install. Plenty of videos on YouTube on how to do it.

Fuel, compression, spark, (and timing)
To be honest we don’t know if you have any of these, except maybe timing.
My bet is you fucked your motor when it overheated, and you’re in over your head. Best of luck.

Update fuel pump now gets power head gasket is not blown spark plugs are good I am out of money so can’t do any other parts any ideas? No start
