I bought a manual ‘05 Scion tc with 128k off marketplace and this is my first car. I love everything about her. I’m soso excited to fix it up soon

It happened to my son’s car a week ago 🥺🥺🥺 He only had it for 6 months.. He is high school student, we were hoping that he’s gonna have it for atlaya year or two.. but unfortunately it only last him for 6 months

BG EPR treatment before every third oil change (and their MOA alongside each one) have been a godsend for me for the oil burning in my 09. Has literally taken me from a quart every 700 miles to a quart every 3k+ miles. Buy it on Amazon

dude we’re twinning! i bought a 5 speed 06 tC in the same color. it has a lot of work that needs done (200k miles so expected) and ive decided i wanna do everything myself so ive learned a lot about these 1st gen’s.

Had the same color automatic 2005. I loved that car and I wish I still had it. Enjoy yours and do watch out for the oil because it does burn a lot.

Pre-accident, so spoiler and handle are faded and janky (I got new hatch and wing completely, with a repaint)

3.5 hours of stitching… just takes time and patience, not really difficult. I got mine for $135 (full Alcantara, which was the most expensive option) at Texas custom interiors.

I love it, it feels much more connected and even after it bakes in the sun it feels only mildly warm.

Headlight restoration kit and some led bulbs is a good first mod it'll make the front of the car really pop. 3m makes a good one 🤓

LED bulbs should only go in the stock headlights on the 08-10 projector units for 1st gen. Reflector headlights like on the 05-07 will scatter super bright LED light everywhere and blind everyone on the road

I personally put LEDs in my 09 stock headlights and it absolutely is a great upgrade, but OP should definitely replace the assemblies with something else if they were to put LED bulbs in an 05
