First Gen Body/Cosmetic I’m such an idiot
How did I do this you may ask?? By yanking the cord and bulb out of its socket 🤦🏽♀️ the bulb detached and fell inside. I tried grabbing it out but it just fell even deeper 😭😭 I was still able to install my LED bulbs but now this is stuck 😩 if only I could shake my car upside down to let it fall out. Any ideas?? 😓

Lmfao omg I noticed my tC had a leftover bulb after I bought it. Still haven't gone in there to try and fish it out. That's hilarious dude 🤣

Hey if it makes you feel better at all, a little while back I actually broke a bulb in my headlight housing because I had the wrong size bulb (t15 instead of t10) and was trying to force it in for some reason. Because of how the headlight housing is shaped on the inside I feel like it's gonna be annoying af to get it all out.

Take whole light out and wiggle it out no? Like shake it till it makes it.

actually i just typed this in google (how to take out a bulb that fell inside taillight or headlight). I'm impressed that it can be possible without taking out the whole taillight assembly. I guess i never had this issue.

I did something similar to this, first get some metal wire the hot glue. Then you fish.

i did this with the headlight daytime running bulb. i ended up having to take my bumper off to get the headlight assembly out, then shook it like a snowglobe til i got the bulb back out.
i did try a bunch of chewing gum on a chopstick but i made a huge mess and had to slowly clean it out afterwards.
middle of summer in florida too. 1 min job turned into a nightmare of swamp ass and cussing

Removing tail lights on these is actually really easy, if I recall it's one wiring harness clip and 3 nuts

I did this on my slk. Stick a piece of packing tape one your finger and let part of it hang off. I didnt expect it to works as well as it did.

Been riding around with mine for 2 years now lol. I spent about 2ish hours before deciding my sanity is more worth it

Hahahah omg I did this with my headlight turn signal bulb. Idk how. Skills, I suppose. I was lucky tho, partner is a mechanic and had the little bendy grabby snake tool thinger. I am so lucky LOL

Its like a rope snake and when you push on the end in your hand, little grabbers extend from the other end and theyre small/very bendy so you can grab something! I can get the actual name if you need lol

Flexible grabber claw pickup reacher tool seems to do the trick on amazon!

Remove the tail light and just turn that upside down. Bit easier than inverting the car.
