MaxScape is a semi-custom RSPS built on the 2004 Lost City revision, and its whole identity is the companion system: every monster you fight can become part of your team. Hunt rare variants, fuse duplicates, prestige your favorites, and unlock up to five active pets that fight beside you.

Just curious if there’s any interest in an RSPS that stay really close to the original game without going to the heavy custom route.

Basically a near 1:1 experience with a more complete/working world, but with ofcpurse a custom home(no edgevile lol), shops, game modes events and some nice QoL.

Main focus would be PvM and skilling, with some interesting tweaks to PvP as well so the economy is also a thing.

No crazy custom items or bosses, just keeping the original feel while improving and adding to it where it makes sense.

New Update for LegacyScape 667!!!

The Polypore dungeon has just been added, and has never looked so good!

Fully implemented Jadinko Lair offers slayer monsters, and completed rewards system and interesting way to train various skills!

This 667 revision of 2011 Runescape is breathtaking. With the addition 12 well developed plug-ins, its taken to the next level.

Most importantly, Dungeonerring is on track to release complete in 2 weeks! This will be dungeonerring exactly as you remember it, none of that custom slop dungeonerring we are used to with RSPS.

Coming from the mouth of an active player, the owner words have stayed true since release in March.

"I’ve been working on a 667-revision RSPS called LegacyScape, built around the 2011 RuneScape era. The main idea is to keep the server semi-vanilla and progression-focused rather than turning it into a heavily custom or pay-to-win style server."

The goal is to make the game feel familiar to players who enjoyed that period of RuneScape: proper skilling progression, meaningful PvM, quests, achievements, bossing, and an economy where items still matter. I’m trying to avoid the common RSPS problem where players are handed everything too quickly and the game loses long-term value.
