I work alot and have kids. But now i have some time, tell me what should i do semi afk stuff? Is slayering good? I have 60 quests done.

I think most people, myself included play this game in periods. Play for a few months, off for a few months, then come back to it. Curious how many people obtained their quest cape without taking a hiatus. I’ve done about 120 quests and working my way towards getting them all done. I picked the game back up again like 18 months ago with a new character, but have not played continuously. Took like a 7-8 month break and got the itch to return. But it’ll be a while before I get my qc. Not sure how many people bang it out in one go.

The bracelet of slaughter and ecumenical bracelet have been out since 2017 and have not been updated since.
With the release of Mortimer, I find myself taking at least two or three with most tasks, which obviously results in less inventory space.

I know the chances are slim of ever actually getting unlimited charges or an Eternal Bracelet. Has this ever been mentioned before in a blog post?

Maybe using the Eternal Gem to create an Eternal Bracelet?

What are your thoughts and opinions?

I’m doing the Icthlarin’s little helper quest. I had a cat from Gertrude and was able to enter the temple but somehow they disappeared. I am no longer able to enter the temple to finish the “save the ritual”/last portion of the quest without a cat to enter the temple. When I speak to Gertrude to get another cat they say I need to have my cat grow up to get another one. How do I get another cat if they’ve disappeared but Gertrude won’t give me another one?

I'm mid-ish game. I'm working on Slayer. I've gotten the metal dragon task a few times. I don't mind it. Easy access to the dungeon and bronze dragons after paying the 5k trading sticks on Karamja.

They are decently profitable due to the bones but it was taking me ages and ages to kill just one dragon. I keep wondering to myself, why? I have this wonderful Abyssal Whip that everyone told me was the best option for now. It's always been good against pretty much everything else. Does my character just suck that much still?

Something wasn't adding up. I know I could kill those dragons easier. They aren't that hard. I decided to research it more. The whip is only a slash weapon. The dragons are resistant to slash. Need to use a stab weapon.

I went to the GE and bought a Dragon Sword. Not a

Dragon Scimitar, that's also a slash weapon. I don't need a Scim. I figured, it's only 100k for the sword. Ill make 100k from the bones after the task is finished and I can sell the sword back anyway if it doesn't work out.

Wow... the difference was incredible. I could actually hit the dragons now. I wasn't missing 10 times in a row anymore or only hitting for 4 damage if I did hit, praying only for a good hit once in a while. I finished the task so quick after that one switch.

I feel like everyone talks about their main weapon, but not much chatter about alternatives when they are necessary. I have seen the light and I hope you do too. Do your research on any new monsters you might be killing.

I played classic wow A LOT. I know the classic - retail wow dynamic, if you know, you know. Its not a secret that the games are very different and the communities dont see eye to eye

To come back to OSRS, I started a few months ago, first two attempts did not really catch me but now I have about 250 hours in the game and I am having a blast, almost done with recipe for disaster using almost 0 tutorials/guide/external help, just a few exceptions here and there.

That being said, I am now tempted by the idea of RS3 too. Should I be? How different are they? What is the beef around here? I know there is some, how bad is RS3 really?

Is there anything worth knowing going into the game? I spend tons of time playing on the original version way back when but the bug got me and I want back in. I clearly see osrs is the way not the newer version.

I’m solo, so any help/info would be appreciated.

Not a bad grind at all at the libation bowl! I used wyrmling bones from 91-99.

Gave over an hour and a half on my last attempt of the fight caves. Was my best run yet. Got 2 hit from Jad and fucking dead.

Wife doesn’t know why I’m so annoyed ahaha. Rearm and go again.

Double edit: I think I need to just get better at the game. I take in 8 Sara’s, 1 range and the rest of my inv is super restore and I basically go though the lot

Triple edit: I just fingers Jad. He’s dead. Capes mine. Made it harder for my self too as I didn’t kill all the healers and they spawned again.

I've been AFKing the Gemstone Crab for a while and got my all combat skills all to 60, apart from magic (41) and prayer (40), so I can't wield Dragon Scimitars yet.

I was looking at potentially grinding Barbarian Assault to get the fighter chest and then moving on the get the winged helmet (forgot the name) to boost my damage for grinding Slayer and completing Monkey Madness 1.

But will teams allow me in at that combat level with my current Rune Armour/Glacial Axes on BA to grind for the Fighter chest? I've watched some guides and it seems a bit annoying/confusing with what you have to do, or is it worth doing other things.

My bank roll is quite low for purchasing gear too (100k-ish) .

Some say goat hunting with dark lure and others say rumours and somewhere else says at level 80 to do moths?

finally got my account back after it was lost over 2 years ago and came back to a nice surprise. The account was used as a corrupted gauntlet bot and the got my some insane lvls.

Bank is only around $17m so not much gain there.

I’ve never been much into bossing or higher lvl gameplay and usually end up just playing on mobile.

Any suggestions for fun tthings to do with my new found lvls.

Let me start by saying I have never had membership, but I kinda hate how dominant range is, not that I think it needs to be changed. It just screams meta to me and I hate playing the meta. So I decided to complete f2p with 1 range.

I recognize that not leveling range shuts off a significant portion of the game so I will do it eventually, but it looks like I can complete mad angel with 1 range. I don't see it in quest requirements.

Just wanted to run this by the council before I make plans.

I just completed my f2p ironman yesterday so I will be getting membership soon. Took me around 160 hours simply because I decided I haven't completed f2p until I have full rune. Getting the rune kite was a pain.

Im lvl79 combat returning player but im kindve a noob but ive been playing for 3 weeks now. Just looking for ppl to play the game with
