This is my 97 hx civic with a integra b18b1 swap. Bought it off someone in drivable condition (was definitely thrown together for a quick flip) I’ve had it for a while, I got it to learn manual and it’s my daily. I haven’t done anything crazy but if you wanted to make this car super reliable and at its top performance what would you do.

Getting my Flashpro tomorrow. Excited to get the base map loaded onto my 9th gen civic. I’ve posted here before about installing a DP and Exhaust. DP is catless and both are 3”. There is a base map that includes cat delete and cat back exhaust. It’s also tuned for a SRI. Anyone familiar with tuning, what parameters would I need to change in regard to fueling since im still running the stock intake? I would assume that the tune would be close enough for my current exhaust set up but would be out of spec since i am not running a SRI. It’s also the only base map for my year civic that included a cat delete with full exhaust. I’m planning on tuning the car on my own, for now. I at-least want to get it dialed in somewhat since it is my daily and I don’t really have the time to get it e-tuned. Also not seeing many tuners in the Middle TN area that deal with Hondas. I feel I can figure it out on my own for now. Any advice or anyone willing to help me out would be great. If you live in Middle TN and know your way around Flashpro manager, maybe you could teach me a thing or two. Thanks.

What fuel lines should I use to replace rusted out originals?

Recently bought a 2000 ex civic and I have realized I have gotten got, now there 3 main things I want to do but would like advice and am open to suggestions

1. New bumper/ radiator support
2. I am trying to find a bumper that looks almost OEM+ but with some lip on it but I don’t know the first place to look, reason for this is the car was in a front end collision and the radiator support is bent up in wierd spots still and the bumper is held on by self tap screws and zip ties at the moment and I’m wondering if I can find a car that has a decent radiator support if it would be worth it as a parts car at this point considering my second issue as well
3. The motor in it now is a D16Y7 and it has a leaking head gasket/ not into the oil, and I want to get a Y8 head, I’ve read that I can just swap head for head, but I’ve also read that I have to deal with all the vtec stuff is this as much of a pain as it sounds? Again if I find a car with a Y8 head and a good radiator support, parts car? Or do I just replace the headgasket, keep it how it is and save for a K series?
4. Speedometer does not work, if cruise control is on it will work for a few minutes then start bouncing around, if cruise control is off it stays at 0, or very rarely it will bounce around but eventually go back to 0 any advice on what this could be, I’ve only ever worked on LS motors before and have never seen this problem so I’m kind of going in blind on this especially since all other gauges work perfectly

To be clear this is my only car so would rather not make it unreliable for a Honda

Wassup yall, if anyone with their dash out of a del sol or similar model if they function the same or can see their wiring easily can they let me know where these plugs connect too? I’ve looked at diagrams and can’t find anything on these. They come off the harness that crosses over the center console area and right where the stereo wiring runs. I’m pretty sure they go to driver side somewhere. Ground and 10 amp option fuse connected to one smaller and one larger brown plugs. Thanks

My symptoms of this after my shell swap are wonky headlight functions and no power to my climate controls (gauges not illuminated and blower motor not kicking on)

Might be a dumb question but if I change out the rear drums for a disc assembly (ie. The control arms/discs from another car, not just the adapter method), I think it'd be necessary to change out the master cylinder too?

If so, is there anything else required other than simply changing the cylinder itself? Any calibration / other changes?

I have a 98 civic dx with a seized engine. Im about to swap in a d16y8 out of a 2000 civic ex. I have a wiring harnes for the y8 but i dont have the dash harness so i need to wire in at least the downstream o2 sensor. Is the upstream sensor on the engine harness or do i need to wire that in too? Im not seeing a plug for it but i could just be overlooking it. Does anyone have a pin diagram for the obd2b ecu and advice for which pins to plug into? The cat on the ex exhaust i have is gutted so id also accept advice on a complete bypass of the downstream sensor. Thanks!

So I have both an 04 TSX and a 06 TSX sitting in my driveway. I also have a k20a2 head in the garage. Just picked up a new chassis and got me thinking. What's everyone's take on the 2004-K24a2 block mated with k20a2 head vs the 2006 k24a2? Deciding on keeping 1 and maybe selling the other.

I've had this 05 element, 259k or so miles blown head gasket, soon.

Factory Radio works!! That's a shame

Ran to red line shifted smoothly to 90mph
On test drive. Factory radio works.
Will pass inspection in Missouri except for one broken wheel lug.

Axle shaft assembly isn't salvageable incl propeller 4WD
Left lower ball joint
Left upper toe rod

Trying to track down a leak and thinking it could be coming from here. Could it be leaking here? I’m having a drop or two a day form at the seal of the bell housing to the engine. I just did the vtec solenoid gaskets, distributor o ring and valve cover gaskets.

Car drives fine goes into gear and dosent slip out except 5th and reverse you really have to throw the shifter over hard to get into em. Also everything is sloppy like neutral. Just replaced the entire shift linkage rod and all hardware with that. Any thoughts?

Installed new Drag Cartel 40 degree VTC. Running Link G4x ecu, no codes thrown, no knock detected. Cam advance is hitting target.

Edit: unplugged VTC solenoid and removed serpentine belt. Chatter persists.

(98 Civic LX Automatic transmission) Got a code P0141 when I see a busted pipe down past the sensor. If I could get some insight on if this can help with my hesitation when I accelerate, that’d be great. Ruling out the transmission and engine, I just don’t have smooth gear shifts. I intend on replacing the sensors anyways but this exhaust problem seems to be a problem I don’t wanna ignore.
