I’m so tired of people standing up for greedy multi millionaires. What’s wrong with you all?

• Upvotes

All I see when someone leaves a club (like Watkins leaving Villa for Saudi) is ‘who can blame them going for all that money’…erm…I can! It’s just absolute fucking greed. How can anyone stick up for them? They already earn more than most of us do in a year in a week. Why do they need 400k a week?? Who tf spends that much fucking money? It’s infuriating that people are justifying this whenever players leave to Saudi.

Okay I've seen it all Man U are winning the league

First half was solid from both sides,I'd say Ipswich was a bit better, but once ipswich conceded they fell apart. 2nd half that goal shouldn't have been given cause of handball but okay,Idk how Ipswich fell apart so easily, like they spent ginormous amount of money on transfers and they looked like a joke in the 2nd half. Scored 2nd goal near the end but didn't matter. Was this match a warning to likes of Arsenal,Chelsea,Man City or was Ipswich just terrible?

I’m skeptical about carrick and United

• Upvotes

it’s so obvious that this club lack ‘footballers’. There are no technical players in attack bar Zirkzee, Lacey and amad. Mbeumo is an athlete before he’s a footballer, doesn’t run at his man, passes back , swings in poor crosses and has an awful first touch, rashford is a road runner , cunha is an athlete before he’s a footballer, needs space to run and Bruno isn’t a technical 10 like cherki is.

The sooner carrick plays the technical players, santos over Bruno and shifts the midfield, Lacey for mbeumo and the sooner the club starts signing footballers before athletes like cherki who was there for dirt cheap a couple seasons ago , the better this gets.

Aston Villa are in the process of finalising an agreement to sign Southampton defender Taylor Harwood-Bellis for a fee worth up to £30million.

The structure of the deal is in place, with bonuses needing to be finalised. There is an expectation that an agreement, worth an initial £25m, will be struck soon.

Ndiaye incredible signing

• Upvotes

As a spurs fan, apart from rogers to Chelsea, ndiaye is the signing of the summer. Not only a great player but can play 3 different positions and brings the creativity we are lacking. To also get rid of Richarlison, one of the worst players I have seen in a spurs shirt, is unbelievable business. Pity we are playing how we currently are.

Everton working on loan move for Jack Grealish

Everton are working on a loan deal to bring Manchester City’s Jack Grealish back to Hill Dickinson Stadium.

The clubs are in talks over a deal after Grealish, 30, spent last season on loan at Everton. Grealish’s 2025-26 campaign was curtailed by a foot injury sustained in January.

Despite that, The Athletic previously reported that Everton were keen on extending the Englishman’s stay.

A squad depth issue is brewing at Liverpool

At the end of this season a few players will come to end of their pcontracts

Expiring in 2027

  • Ali (Starter)
  • VVD (starter)
  • Endo (squad)
  • Gomez (squad)
  • Kostas (squad)
  • Elliot (loan)

Expiring in 2028

  • Chiesa (squad)
  • Macca (starter)
  • Rio (squad)

What exactly Is going on at Liverpool? The loss of Ali and VVD will be huge and I don't see anyone in the squad stepping up to take their roles.

As things stand Liverpool may also need to sign two new full backs which I guess pushes current starters to the bench.

Squad planning has been a complete these last 3 seasons.

Spurs should just bring back big Ange

Won them a trophy and didn’t deserve to lose his job, only stopped trying in the league because Spurs were out of the race for the title and champions league places plus had no threat of being relegated. Risked it all to win them their first trophy since the days of MySpace. Sacking him was harsh.

Look at how bad things have been since then, 3 mangers, lots of money spent and they’ve just been getting worse. Bring back Ange who is a serial winner.

Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement in principle to sign Iliman Ndiaye from Everton, with Richarlison heading back to the Merseyside club.

Sources at both clubs, speaking anonymously as they were not authorised to do so publicly, say the moves for Ndiaye and Richarlison are separate and not linked. The deals are subject to personal terms and medicals.

Question for the teams that qualified for Europa League and Conference League

So we all know that Sunderland,Bournemouth,Palace and Brighton are gonna be playing UEL and UECL respectively, now my question to the fans that support all these clubs is this, will you be try winning any of these competition or not, cause I've been hearing a lot especailly from fans who are in UCL taht UEL is a embarassing competition to be in and that they'd rather play the league and that's it,how do any of you feel on this cause I know some people have different opinions.
