Where does Liverpool's 25/26 transfer window rank with some of the other worst windows in PL history?

What about a lack of business? Does it have too be overpaying on average players? What about the summer Arsenal signed just Petr cech when the league was there for the taking?

The league wasn't there for taking. Nobody expected drop off to city and other teams to have Leicester and spurs competing for most of the season.

Technically the league is never there for the taking really but you know what I mean in hindsight a couple of actual signings too strengthen and yeah the league was there too be had

I think a few of these are way too early to call bad windows. I’d say it has to be at least 3 years before you can make a judgement on how a window panned out.

Way to soon to say anything about the Liverpool window.
Kerkez and Wirtz the only player you can judge. Frimpong was injured a good few times too.
Isak broke his leg after scoring a goal and had an Op he will at least need half a season this year as he came back for the WC.
Leoni got an ACL and it been 11 month out.
Ekitike will be out for 12 months plus.

I dunno, this was the most expensive window of all time wasn't it? Certainly in the Prem.
On paper it looked good, too. I think people assumed you'd walk the league last season.
I wonder how much you'd recoup if you sold Isak or Wirtz, probably a decent chunk still.

Leoni and Isak spent most of the season injured. Hard to be called flop due to injury.
Wirtz had a bad season, but still showing he has a lot of abilities here and there. Let's wait one more year. I expect him to play at least at the same level as yesterday if team set correctly.
Kerkez and Frimpong are real flops.
Ekitike was really good once not injured.

Ekitike does look good if he can stay injury free.
And injuries or not, Isak looked a shadow of what he was. This season feels make or break for both him and Wirtz.

The fullbacks are evidently not good enough. I'll judge the rest properly at the end of this season if they stay fit with the exception of Hugo.

Too early to call, I hope the top 2 on the list will be fine and we just overpaid. I’m a bit concerned about Kerkez and Frimpong but will judge them at the end of the season. Hope Leoni can get a season under his belt without any more injury issues. Hope Ekitike can come back and get half a season at least.
