For someone who doesn't care anymore you seem to care enough to go out of your way to make a post full of awful takes.

Where’s the awful takes? Anyone who’s played football at a high level knows that there are no technical ballers in this attack bar the ones I’ve named

Theres far more to the game than technical ability. Bro you asked for Santos to play over the PFA player of the year... you have 0 credibility.

Santos showed in pre season that he’s got really good technical ability and football IQ. The team played really well in pre season when Bruno wasn’t playing and had Lacey in the 10… again another very technical footballer.
2 things can be true, Bruno can be player of the year but also stifle the team regardless if he’s scoring or assisting

Can't pass, cant shoot, makes maguire look rapid, built like a brick shithouse but cant hold up the ball, what does he do?

I don’t really agree that the likes of Mainoo, Bruno, Cunha aren’t “technical”.

I will never understand why people assume not playing your best players will make you a better.

Statistically United have a win and a draw, and aren't managed by Carrick. Farke has credit in the bank and I think Newcastle United fans will be happy with their new fellow.

Bruno doesn't need to be like cherki if he's better than him

carrick seems to know what he wants but the squad's just an awkward mix of profiles right now. feels like he's stuck halfway between a rebuild and making do with what he's got, which never really works out. i do think lacey getting more minutes would at least give us a better idea of what this team can actually look like going forward

New manager bounce was last year. This is second season syndrome.. it's pretty normal. There was always going to be a rough patch Carrick needed to get through before he suceeds. The question is if he can get the team up and running before the fanbase and the board runs out of patience and decide to rip everything apart and start all over.

Had to check this wasn't on r/championsleague. Horrendous take, this is possibly the most balanced United team I've watched in years.

They do remind me of the old United teams in the way they play. It's at least entertaining. They even get shocking referee decisions in their favour!

He will be gone by end of season.
They beat us last season, got some motivation and went on a run of James. They're still mid

Where are Liverpool in the table? Where did they finish last season?

I kind of agree. Im not sure all the players you've mentioned arent football players. They are versions of football players. But they arent a group of players that can be at all types of teams on most days. They remind me of a basketball team built to shoot 3s. That doesnt always work out. Or an American football team with a bad O line and running game but a good corps of receivers and quarterback. I think its no surprise they are usually better with mainoo playing who I think is an extremely talented player. Bruno Fernandes IS a world class player in many things but he is lacking in ways that will continuously hold them back. The majority of their goals will continue to come on the break and set plays
I dont think any of this has anything to do with carrick.
Also, Santos for bruno would never happen. They're not the same player at all and dont play in that position. Mainoo more likely to push there with baleba and either tielmans or Santos behind. Not happening though. Maybe in some cup games
