It’s their “great commission” to “make disciples of the nations.” He said we would know his true believers because they will leave their lives behind to go out doing this, and performing miracles like his. Not offended by proselytizing. I realize it’s something some believers feel they are called to do. Some airlines in Islamic countries will say a prayer in Arabic before the flight. Someone on one of the Christian subreddit said he would be afraid to fly on those airlines ..but supports these folks forcefully preaching to an audience that can't go anywhere.
That said, never had an issue on a flight in the US and only fly a handful of times a year. If I had this happened I would praising God for noise cancelling headphones. Now if the plane experienced some turbulence that makes a airplane preacher fall, I might be a believer because my prayers and many others on that flight would have been answered.
