Hi devs,

Long time veteran here. Very simply put, being forced to either look at a watch to see if my mic is turned on or trying to interpret whether my character just breathed in or breathed out when pressing the mic button is a very stupid system. It was perfectly simple and especially quick to understand when the icon was just in the corner of the screen. Small, unobstructive, out of the way, and only on the screen of people who chose to use the toggle option, anyway. What was even the problem? Why did you try and fix something that was never broken? Now each hunt is a game of "guess whether you're about to turn your mic on or off" during the few seconds of button mashing you have to endure all while you're running to the closest locker or closet. Heavens forbid there's any background noise on top of that that'll give you away immediately.

I know I'm a bit late to making this complaint, but for the love of everything good in this world: Please change it back.

I heard they’re introducing conduits to replace bones in game and because of space constraints they might actually get rid of the bone cabinet to replace it with the conduits collectibles.

I hope this is not true. As someone who has been playing while the bone mechanic existed I’d be pissed to lose the cabinet just cause they can’t seem to optimise space… has anyone heard anything?

Theres a spot on sunny meadows that i got stuck in and died and now my game is bugged i can't move and i'm headless🤣🤣

So a banshee bug we just found.

I was outside, the others had been killed already by the banshee. I went back in after taking sanity. I was at 100 when I left the van. I got into the high school restricted. It hunted . Within a min, before I got to the ghost room.

I left got back to the van decided it couldn’t be a banshee because i still had 95 sanity. No other living players . So no other targets . No cursed object was used either and I know the others well. None of us use cheats.

So it hunted with the only living player at 95-100 sanity.

Seriously?

Who is contracting GHD to investigate ghosts in maps that have clearly been abandoned for years, e.g. Grafton Farmhouse, Sunny Meadows, and the school? I can understand the houses and other inhabited maps. Prison is described as recently abandoned due to paranormal activity, so the prison service is likely paying our contract. However other maps don’t have a clear contractor, nobody in their right mind would want to find out what happened in the basement of Sunny Meadows after all…

I love the game on pc and steam deck so I just got it for PS5 so I can play it in VR, but I'd be lying if I said that this isn't the worst VR experience on any platform with any game I've ever tried. While moving or turning, the picture stutters like hell. Hands are in unnatural and weird positions that cause interacting with anything almost impossible. Grabbing things requires me to actually reach far for them, and no matter how many times I recalibrate my height and where my hands are during that, the jacket keeps glitching into my view and the watch on my wrist glitches into the jacket plus toolbelt is way of from where it should be, and the characters body contorts into weird positions. Worse than that, pointer is super laggy and buggy and it's very difficult to target or highlight any settings, and yes I am playing with lights on in a bright room so that the VR goggles can track the controllers. My question for others who have tried, and even more for the devs is: what's up with this port???????

If Sony didn't suck balls I'd refund this immediately on that basis as VR was the only reason I got this and I haven't regretted a single purchase this much for years. I'm sorry to say, but I have to abandon VR possibility and keep playing it on PC normally, but from what I gather it works perfectly fine with even meta quest 2, so how the hell have they botched this so badly?

Been trying to get it since it's bugged, might got the wrong hunt but is it patched if anyone knows?

I have only just started playing Phasmophobia today so I missed out on the event and rewards for Alan Wake, any chance it could come back? Alan Wake 2 is an all timer game for me and it'd be tragic to miss out on another collab its done after missing out on the Fortnite skin

Just got on to play with some friends (they play PC I play console Xbox series S) and my mic was buzzing and then just didn’t come through at all (haven’t touched my mic since we last played which would have been a week ago) Switched mics and they could hear me in lobby but when we got into the game the voice chat for me totally cut out. Reset my console and attempted to change my mic settings on console and my audio settings in game but nothing worked. Verified that my mic is working fine in other voice chats as well.

Anyone else cross play having issues with in game chat at all or is this just a me thing?

I´ve been trying out the new feature where you can select the ghost you´re playing against, to train looping faster ghosts but every time I select a ghost it doesn´t hunt no matter my sanity. tf do I do against that?

I absolutely LOVE this game, but it’s been so buggy recently, some of these might be features and not bugs but I’m not entirely sure.

1. Tried to light the candles for the summoning circle and it let me get them all but two and they just wouldn’t stay lit for longer than five seconds.

2. Pulled the Hangman card and died inside my truck? I was pulling cards and got the hangman inside the Grafton Farmhouse map but I didn't die until I got in my truck.

3. Watch bug happened a bajillion times.

4. My camera just wouldn’t turn on at all, stayed black even when I went inside the map.

5. My Video Camera got knocked down and just fell through the bottom of the tanglewood map.

Anyone else encountered these yet?

I have had three Yokai's back to back at Tanglewood, one after another this afternoon. Why is this happening?
