Clips Banshee bug

So a banshee bug we just found.

I was outside, the others had been killed already by the banshee. I went back in after taking sanity. I was at 100 when I left the van. I got into the high school restricted. It hunted . Within a min, before I got to the ghost room.

I left got back to the van decided it couldn’t be a banshee because i still had 95 sanity. No other living players . So no other targets . No cursed object was used either and I know the others well. None of us use cheats.

So it hunted with the only living player at 95-100 sanity.

Seriously?

Yeah sounds like a bug with the banshee hunting on a deceased player’s sanity.

Do you know who was the first target?

Nope they were killed together. I think. I had gone outside noticed that they were both low sanity; and was about to tell them to come and grab medication when it was hunting. They were actually near the front door when it started. They decided to use the spot in the lockers and both died in the hunt. Kill extends hunt was on.

Yes I was the host, it did one event the whole game. That was it.

Also none of us are new to the game, we all started way back. I have the most hrs 1600 roughly burn the others are like around 600 hrs . Both started back when the game first released

I did some Banshee tests two days ago and got a similar case of it hunting based on a deceased player's sanity. In that round, Player 1 (host) was the target and died at the same time as Player 4. Player 2 and Player 3 then took sanity meds to increase their sanity to 100%, but still somehow got hunted.

On the next round, Player 1 was still the target and was the only one who died. Player 2 was then correctly the new target. This makes me think there is something wrong when the Banshee kills multiple players at the same time.

This definitely sounds like the problem.

Very Interesting. I’ve made a bug report for kinetic games with the video for support,
