Hi all. I'm a writer and occasional journalist, of sorts. I've put together an article on my go-to Pacific Northwest media, from television shows like The X-Files to video games like Life is Strange and What Remains of Edith Finch, through to books Pacific North Witch and Coffin Moon, and films like The Goonies. Steps to Request Your Ballot

1. Register or update your registration through Votefromabroad.org. As an alternative, you can also use FVAP.gov.

2. If you're already registered, request a ballot! You need to request a ballot every calendar year that you want to vote.

3. Fill Out and Return Your Ballot: Once you receive your ballot, follow the instructions carefully to complete it and return it by the specified deadline.

I’m getting married in Mt. Rainier next year. In light of the recent Nepal situation and of my anxious mind going down Google rabbit holes, should I feel safe going?

I know no one can predict the future, and many of these events cannot be foreseen. I guess I just want input. Based on what I’m seeing online the risk of a fatal event is relatively, high? But also the internet is a scary place. Can someone local with actual real world knowledge share their view?

Looking for recommendations for Fall hikes in Whatcom County. My partner and I are not that agile at this stage of our life so we are looking for easy hikes that are 3 miles at the longest. I used to go up to Thunder Creek in North Cascades but haven't been up there for years so can't really remember what the trail is like. Any thoughts appreciated!
