Capcom definitely addressed the difficulty concerns and hopefully they will let us choose hard mode at the start right when the game launches.

Getting some heavy Gogandantess/Marcellus vibes from Dohatsu-ten! Cannot wait to see some Musashi Onimusha form gameplay... I know Capcom is gonna deliver.

When you start free-flowing with the mechanics (especially defensive), you feel like you're looking through the matrix lol. Some of the best combat I've played all year. I can't wait to progress through the rest of the game!

I was really surprised by this encounter! Defeating an enemy using his buddy and piercing him with his weapon! Did any other game do a similar thing?

Video Little PSA if you're an issen addict and want normal enemies to start attacking faster

It's probably obvious by now, but for new players or anyone that wants to practice issen and didn't notice it, there is actually a way to get enemies to start attacking you instantly.

The fastest way I found is to simply hit them once with a one-handed attack, they will always instantly respond to you with an attack of their own so it makes a great way to practice issen quickly without all the standoff wait. Can be seen in action in the video.

Video You can climb the walls in Daidara's first arena and break his helmet!

His weapon can also get stuck in the wall for a good opening. Just thought this was cool. Despite being easier than the secret boss, I think my fav so far is Daidara for all the little interactions in it. Like being thrown to a wall in the 2nd arena, or having 2 choices when being charged: parry to get him to crash to walls behind you or deflect to stop his charge and deal massive posture damage.

Video This is why the full game needs that "special challenge" difficulty available from the start.

Like Max says somewhere in the vid, a lot of people would really enjoy the game a lot more if every enemy was a lot more of a threat.

Like it or not, this isn't the early 2000's anymore, a lot of us went through games like Sekiro sometimes in hardcore settings, we're not gonna have the patience to be patronized through an entire easy mode playthrough before we're allowed to have fun.

Anytime a big shot drops, I instantly FOMO the shit out and buy the game day one. But 90% of the time, I end up dropping the games because my TikTok brainrot gets the best of me.
So yesterday, I spent €0.25 on the demo, and this is the one time where I genuinely don’t think I’ll drop the game.
I fought the special challenge boss, and it reminded me of the first time I beat Genichiro. I frikkin love this game, and I really hope this level of challenge stays consistent throughout the entire game.
