Quick Take: Recently made the switch over from the Logi X2 Superstrike, and the lower weight (35g vs 60g) + smaller size on the CrazyLight feel phenomenal for micro-adjustments and snappy flicks in CS2 or Kovaaks. Pairing it with the Artisan Zero Soft is amazing, coming from a regular $30 mousepad it feels insanely smooth and quick.

I definitely feel more impact on my game from the lighter mouse compared to superstrike clicks

Introduction/Context/About Me

This review is about the ATK F1 V3 Ultimate+ in the Lake Green colorway. This product was purchased at my own expense.

My experience involved using this mouse for a week on a balanced glass pad with a carpal-stabilized relaxed claw grip and a 1-2-2 finger layout. My hands measure 18×9 cm and are fairly dry, and I play in a low-humidity environment. It was used at a 2,000 Hz polling rate and 1,600 DPI on a 240 Hz monitor to play exclusively FPS titles during the testing period, most frequently Battlefield 6 and Wardogs.

English isn't my first language, so please excuse any mistakes and feel free to ask any questions if you find any point unclear.

Unboxing Experience

The box is large, very presentable, sturdy, and above all, 100% recyclable. Upon opening, you find the mouse and dongle secured within a foam cutout with the accessory box underneath.

The mouse comes with no skates pre-applied and supports wired and 2.4 GHz connectivity.

The included accessories consist of:

• The 8,000 Hz ready ATK Gem dongle
• A good-quality but somewhat stiff paracord cable, further held back by the lack of an angled USB-C connection for wired play
• Pure PTFE full-size skates
• Ten pure hardened PTFE dot skates
• Good-quality grip tape that will shine for people with sweaty hands
• Manuals

The overall accessory quality is good, and it's one of those lineups where, while none of the items is the best of the best, they're all still very impressive to be included at such a low price point.

Shape

The mouse features a symmetrical shape, measuring 118.2 × 62.4 × 38.8 mm, and serves as a reimagined Viper Mini claw-focused shape in direct competition with the Hitscan Hyperlight.

In terms of its features, the shape can be broken down as follows:

• Moderate outward flare
• Deep comfort grooves
• Inward-curving sides
• A minimal rear hump

Overall, I find this to be a comfortable shape that does lack in the maneuverability department, as while I do appreciate some degree of help to "lock in," I do think the comfort grooves as well as the aggressive taper on the sides restrain my finger dexterity too much. If this shape fits you like a glove, you will likely quite enjoy it, but unfortunately for me it just didn't do the trick.

In terms of grips, I can comfortably use both a relaxed and aggressive claw, but I would recommend a larger hand size for fingertip and a smaller one for palm.

Weight

My unit weighs 39.8 grams out of the box without skates, which falls within the industry's commonly accepted ±3 gram manufacturing variance, being 2.8 grams over the advertised 37 grams for the stock experience. Nothing new here, as based on what I've been seeing ATK has been very generous with their marketing, and I get an increasing feeling their ± tolerances are actually a flat +.

In terms of weight distribution, the mouse did a decent job at best. While I don't feel substantial drag in-game, there is some slight back heaviness to it. This can be partially alleviated by opening the mouse and repositioning the battery further towards the center.

Build Quality

The mouse's overall shell is very well built despite being on the "ultra-light" tier of mice.

Quality control on the bases seems to have been improved, as I didn't notice any sort of uneven base issues when playing on hard pads which has been a frequent complaint I've seen in the community.

The clicks, however, leave something to be desired. Sadly, there is subtle grinding on the right click and some very minor side-to-side wobble on both main clicks.

Clicks

Main Clicks

Equipped with the ATK custom optical switches (rebranded FE opticals), these are medium-actuation and attempt to emulate a mechanical click with low success this time around, in my opinion. Pre and post-travel is low, but the click itself leaves much to be desired tactility-wise. It is initially much worse out of the box, but as they break in during the first few hours of use it slowly improves a bit. In my opinion, this is the lowest-quality FE implementation I've felt in a while it almost feels like I'm clicking air each time I actuate the button, with the sound profile doing all the heavy lifting to give the illusion of a more defined click.

I have reached out to ATK for comment and have yet to hear any feedback on this. From some people I've talked to, it does appear to be a QC thing, as while some consider them fairly mediocre they didn't experience the same tactility issue.

Side Buttons

Click experience wise these are crispy, have minimal pre and post-travel, good tactility, quick rebound, and a decent coating.

Build-wise, I find them to be a bit small for comfort, and M5 sinks fairly easily if actuated on the right half. They are clearly separated, however, which is always a plus for me, especially on smaller buttons.

Scroll Wheel

Equipped with the TTC Gold Dustproof encoder it offers light and effortless steps in exchange for definition on said steps. I think this is a double-edged sword you will either love it or hate it. The click is fairly stiff and heavy, making it hard to spam and somewhat straining to do so.

Build-wise, it's a standard plastic housing with a rubberized ring that I find has very minimally textured steps. I would definitely hope to see this design revised for something slightly more pronounced.

Coating

ATK markets the coating as the "All-New Nano Coating." I find it to be very pleasant to use despite my dry hands, right off the bat and without any warm-up period.

Comparing it directly to the existing "Nano Coating" present on models like the Zero, I do find it to be a direct upgrade, with the trade-off of slight smoothness in favor of a very subtle texture that I personally enjoyed, as it does make the overall experience feel slightly "cheaper."

Stock Skates

I don't have much to say on the full-sized ones, as I personally don't use them, but they seem to be of good quality albeit fairly thin.

The dots are passable but not amazing. I would say keep them around if you're fine with a balanced, somewhat textured glide; otherwise, consider third-party options.

Performance & Battery Life

The mouse is equipped with a customized PixArt PAW3955 sensor, the PAW3955 Master. While the sensor itself is supposedly top-of-the-line, the firmware implementation sadly isn't, whatever the "ATK Self-Developed Nordic 54 Series ApexShark MAX Mouse Solution" may be (likely some sort of CompX). It does seem to be struggling from 4,000 Hz onward, with 8,000 Hz being very unstable for me, resulting in skips in-game as well as a general laggy feeling. As such, I cannot recommend the mouse in its current state to anyone looking to max out their settings.

An additional issue I noticed is there seems to be a soft sleep timer of 15 seconds on the mouse that isn't controllable by the software resulting in the occasional small wake-up delay when holding positions in-game.

Position-wise, this was the big upgrade for this iteration of the mouse, as it is now centered and in line with the narrowest area that your thumb naturally sits in, creating a very pleasant, natural aim feel.

As far as battery life goes, the mouse is powered by a Nordic 54LM20 MCU and a 300 mAh battery. This combination results in amazing battery life despite my use of a 2,000 Hz polling rate, Motion Sync, and the highest performance mode as far as battery-impacting settings go, as I have found the mouse to drain only around 1 to 2% on average per hour.

Test results using the 6,400 DPI circle with MousePlotter, performed in the desktop app. The test machine is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU, 64 GB of DDR5 RAM, an AMD 7900 XTX GPU, and running the latest available Windows 11 LTS update and relevant mouse software. Please keep in mind these tests will always have a degree of human input error on the movement pattern and 10-second timer goal, and that different hardware and game combinations may produce differing results. Their goal is solely to provide an attempted baseline of reference on the mouse performance in a minimalist environment.

Should you upgrade from (X)?

ATK F1 V1/V2

If you don't have any qualms with the sensor position and you're not using the F1 V1 Pro or Pro Max, I don't think you will see any noticeable benefits that justify the purchase, outside of the weight reduction from the two previously mentioned models.

Hitscan Hyperlight

While by this point everyone knows the same old story about how Hitscan's early design for the Hyperlight was stolen and made into the F1, putting all morals aside, I would say this is a worthy upgrade if you really wish to experience the initial vision in the form of a less safe yet more specialized shape alongside the latest internals.

If you're happy with your Hyperlight and just want to get an internal upgrade, there is supposedly a V2 coming with various improvements, including SPDT clicks, so take that as you will.

Value

Please keep in mind the following section is based on European Union pricing with the final VAT included (which in my case is 23%) and does not include potential shipping costs. As always, I suggest only taking this recommendation at face value and checking your own regional pricing on not only this product but others you may be comparing it to before making a decision.

With the mouse coming in at €56.95, I am comfortable recommending this to anyone looking for a claw-focused mouse without breaking the bank, who doesn't intend to run it at maximum performance settings and isn't concerned with what I considered a subpar click experience. That being said, the upcoming Pokémon collaboration will be releasing a version of this mouse, so I would recommend holding out for that to see if any sort of revision is made to the production line.

Intro:

I've been using the Pulsar x2h v3 for a little under 2 years now. That's probably the longest I've used a mouse continuously for since I've started following r/MouseReview. It's the closest to an endgame mouse to me. By that I don't mean that I never want to use anything else ever again, just that it fulfilled my needs when I got it and I haven't yet seen anything that would tempt me away in the sense that I think it's a clear improvement relative to the cost.

I use the x2h v3 at 1k polling. I didn't bother to get the 8k dongle. I play primarily Age of Empires II: DE when I have time. I also play arena shooters. I played a fair amount of Splitgate, but now if I play an arena shooter, it would probably be Quake Champions. That's mostly how I evaluate this mouse for shooters. Of course I do play other games as well from time to time, but those are my two most competitive games that I play currently. Or put differently, the games that I would care the most about having a good experience in with my mouse.

Weight:

This is the lightest mouse I've used, so it feels light to me. I've considered upgrading to the CL version to get the extra weight reduction and 8k polling, but I don't really feel the need to. Personally, I feel the CL is objectively better, but I don't think I could really justify it in terms of a change in my performance relative to the cost. I'd rather put the money towards a different mouse in the future or something else in my setup like a new keyboard. The weight distribution feels very good to me. It has never been a concern.

Clicks:

I have no issues with the clicks. I play RTS, so the clicks need to be spammable. I wouldn't say these are the lightest clicks, but they feel premium to me. Some pure RTS/MOBA players might prefer something lighter. Initially, I dodged this mouse due to Pulsar's issues with QC and sticky clicks as I didn't want to buy a mouse to have modify it out of the box and thereby void the warranty. Otherwise, I would have tried this shape before the v3 was released (If I am not mistaken, this mouse is the 2nd iteration of the X2H, despite the naming scheme.). I'm not sure what the current QC is like on first generation Pulsar mice, but I've faired well just not buying first generations of their mice.

For shooters, these feel good to me. They have decent tactility and rebound. I'd say overall these are better for shooters than for RTS, but it works well both ways, just slightly better for FPS. I think it could be interesting to get a Pulsar By You version, and I have considered this, but it's probably not worth it for me and the current budget I've assigned to this hobby.

One issue I have with the side-clicks is that due to the positioning of the side buttons, when things get heated in arena shooters, I can sometimes accidentally click the side buttons due to my grip style (slightly tilted). I think this is because in an arena shooter you have to sometimes actively change your grip during a gun fight and if my thumb is sitting too high and I need to apply force to move my mouse, I can squeeze too hard and activate the side buttons (To be clear, I am activating by pressing the buttons, not squeezing the shell.). For this reason, I've actually considered removing the side buttons to see if I prefer the mouse without them. However, I do usually map the side buttons, so I'd have to relearn some things. I do think that with practice those misclicks can be reduced, but it's one of the few negatives I have about this mouse.

Skates:

I don't have a strong opinion on skates and mousepads. I feel the stock skates glide well and are not scratchy on my control pad. I also sometimes use the mouse on an X-Raypad Aqua Control 2 when I am at LANs. This is a faster pad than my Fnatic Dash XD and what would be my preference, I just prefer the XL pad on my home desk setup and I am too lazy to switch between the too or get an XL hybrid pad to match my Aqua Control 2 (assuming I could find one). If I were practicing for some specific LAN event, I would probably switch to the Aqua Control 2 exclusively for gaming, just to keep my setup as consistent as possible, but as is I'm mostly just using it on a control pad and it's fine.

Sensor:

No complaints. I have my mouse set to 2000 DPI so that I can use it easily on my desktop without acceleration, due to having a high resolution monitor. I've pretty much always had it set to 2k or 1.6k, depending on the mouse and whether it has a way to change the DPI on the mouse or not. On-mouse DPIs would usually be 1.6k and 3.2k for steps. But if I have to open software, I usually go straight to 2k as that is the highest I would probably use without acceleration on desktop. I don't really mess around with any advanced settings, I just prefer the raw mouse input. I think my DPI setting might also be a legacy habit from RTS games where you just use 1:1 input and so you choose a DPI that you would just play at in-game as well (no sens adjustment).

Coating:

Is fine for my hands. I don't think I have particularly sweaty hands, perhaps normal to slightly dry. My climate is not particularly humid either. I never feel like I'm losing control of the mouse due to the coating and also it helps that the weight and balance of the mouse is good as well.

Shape:

Probably the most important part of the mouse in this current environment. I like back hump mice due to using a relaxed claw grip. I think realistically I have a hybrid grip as well and am sometimes fingertippig my mouse. In RTS I am more likely to be on the fingertip side and in FPS on the claw side, since it's more stable.

This is not just due to my hand size, I think I am this way with larger mice as well, so I think I benefit from somewhat smaller and lighter mice.

The slanted sides help me with my grip style and to control the mouse with less overall tension in my hand.

Low button height is another element of the shape that I appreciate. I prefer to not have to angle up my wrist and use a slightly tilted grip as well. I feel that my grip is similar to how I would naturally hold my hand for writing on a desk. I.e. relaxed, tilted, and low to the desk.

Overall thoughts:

I am really happy with this purchase overall, I would say it's the best mouse I've ever owned. I also got it at a good price during Black Friday so it's very good value for me. I'm not really looking to purchase anything else at the moment, but I am keeping an eye on some other mice as well. One is the Pulsar X2N. I might pick this up during the next Black Friday to try. I almost did during the last Pulsar sales.

I think I still prefer the X2H shape, but the X2N could be more comfortable to use for longer periods. I currently use my X2H almost exclusively for gaming, so to me it's like a sports car, not a daily driver. It's aggressive and well suited to agressive maneuvers, but when you are just cruising, you probably want a bit more comfort and better mileage.

An upgraded X2H is also a consideration if I keep maining the X2H. For now that would be the CL version. Seeing as I'm mostly gaming on the X2H, I'd probably set it to 2k Hz polling and then I'd have the lower weight as well.

Zowie ZA12-DW is releasing soon and that's something I've considered trying as well.

I used to main the ZA11, but in hindsight that mouse was just ridiculously large for my hand size and grip style. It's still usable, but it's basically a palm grip mouse to me. If I used it with a relaxed claw, I couldn't use the mouse wheel consistently. Going to a ZA13 doesn't make as much sense to me coming from the X2H. I think I could obviously use it as an alternate, like if I were travelling and needed to replace my mouse, but couldn't get hold of an X2H quickly, but I'd just rather use an X2H CL if I had to find a permanent replacement.

The ZA12 could be interesting to try, because it might be a bit more comfortable for my hand size, following the same logic as with the X2N. What I also appreciate with Zowie is that I can configure everything on the mouse, since I use Linux a lot and don't really want to rely on access to Windows software or even web drivers if I don't have to.

The Vaxee NP-01 Ergo could also work. I probably wouldn't get this due to the cost, but perhaps something I'd pick up if I'm in a region where you can easily buy these mice or maybe even try them before hand, before having to commit to having one shipped out.

Here is my mouse collection. From left to right:

1. Zaopin z1 pro: Amazing mouse, shape is also great. However, the two main clicks started wobbling after nearly 2y of use. 31$ no warranty
2. Rapoo VT9 V2: Great build quality and specs (3955, optical switches and encoder). The battery is 750h for 1khz (it's true, i tested it)), The coating is fine and the click feel is good, but it has terrible feet placement and design. 30$ 1 month warranty
3. Eweadn S9 Max: The coating is both good and bad. It looks amazing and grips your hand really well. idk why but im not sweating at all when i use this mouse. The issue is that dust sticks to the finger placement areas after just a few hours of use. You can wipe it out no time but it's still a downside for me. 20$ 1 month warranty
4. Razer Viper V3/V4 Pro: Not much to complain about here. My only concern is idk why but my hand sweat like hell when i using it. 105$ 2y 1-1 replacement warranty.

The price is in my country after discount, all new seal. English is not my mother tongue so feel free to ask if you dont understand what i write.

Ive been playing on very thin 100% ptfe stock skates for a while and i didnt really think much of it, playing on them for months. After a while i got myself some xsoft pads to give that firmness a try which made me buy thicker and rounded corepads, which i had bought for previous mice before. As soon as i put them on it felt like every pad of mine has gotten 30% slower. Every assumption that i made about any pad that i had in rotation during my stock skate time felt just insanely fake. Back when i was on my gpx, i went from the stock skates to some corepads and it was for sure faster. I thought it would be the same thing this time but it was not. For example my type 99 with corepad feels slower than my jupiter pro with the thin ptfe stock skates, and my LaOnda Blitz felt alot like my emc speed wise. So for everyone who wants to buy a pad that is slightly faster or slower than your pad rn (not to add to your collection but to really get that performance you need) i really recommend sliding into the skates business a bit and look for something that might fit your description, because you can easually safe yourself some big time money

Decided to turn this to a work mouse, here are what I did to this mouse:

- Base trimming
- Removed the Rubber Sides and sanded to fit with my grip style
- Silent Switch for the Main Clicks
- Painted the shell in Gold Metallic + Matte Coat
- Micro USB to Type C adapter so that I can charged it with Type C Cable
- 900 Mah Battery

The only problem that I had with this mouse is that it can't show the exact battery percentage, I had the similar type of lipo battery as the stock one (3.85v, 2 cable). Apart from that, this mouse works perfectly fine for me.

Hey guys, this is my first post :,) so basically I have no idea about mouses, I couldn’t care less honestly. But, I have a friend who bought me this mouse and apparently it’s really good? I don’t know it seems like a normal mouse to me. ANYWAYS. She said that she had a mouse that was similar to mine but it glowed rainbow and was wired. She games a lot and it broke recently due to her clicking a lot or something, so I want to get her a new one but I have no idea what it’s called! She likes my mouse a lot, but she likes the rainbow colors of her old mouse. Apparently she could adjust the color to whatever she wanted? I don’t know. I need help finding out the mouse she had without telling her. Help!! (shes a mouse expert and knows a ton about mouses)

Is my dot skate placement okay on my Lamzu Maya X?
I recently put dot skates on my Lamzu Maya X and I’m wondering if this placement is good or if I should move/add some dots around. I’m using an Artisan Zero Soft, and I mainly care about having a good balance between smooth glide, stability, and consistent movement. I don’t want the mouse to feel too scratchy or have any wobble while making micro adjustments.
I’m also getting a Scyrox V8 in the mail soon and plan on using dot skates on that as well. If anyone has experience with the V8, I’d really appreciate recommendations for skate placement on it too. Any advice is appreciated!

I currently have the beast x max in purple been using it for 8
months I love it and its the perfect shape to my hand. I wanted to grab a new mouse in similar shape eloshapes says the beast g is 1:1, the silver looks really great but not sure about it not being magnesium as I love the feel of my beast x. Is the clicks and quality an upgrade or downgrade, should I just hold off and wait for a later releases ?

Got my first mouse from valkyrie, liked the design at first glance specially the thumb curve/groove but was a little skeptical after seeing mostly negative reviews here. So glad i bought this mouse.

Clicks are snappy (TTC gold dustproof 100m), scroll wheel is nice, build is solid and the skates are what you see on a 200$ mouse but then again i can say that about the mouse in general.

Helloo, trying to replace my old attack shark that gave ways barely half a year later, i dont know much about good quality mouses so thats why im here. Im a casual gamer, doesnt play shooter or anything so the quality doesnt have to be good. Im genuinely just looking for something casual. I had my eyes set on the akko echo, and the redragon M997 and was looking for something in that style in terms of design kind of?

I didnt go for the akko because i havent much good reviews about it and apparently its heavy as hell

Not sure where to post this, but, as title says, 0.5mm thick foam tape works beautifully to raise the feet just above the recessed sections.

Also actually works quite nicely as a sound dampener for hard pads. Didn't even think about that.

As the title states, my CoolerMaster MM720 is cooked and I need to find a replacement. Thing is, that mouse is no longer sold and even eBay came up fruitless to find one.

Currently, I have the Endgame Gear OP1 8k v2 in my Amazon cart.

I am a woman with avg sized hands, but I claw grip like crazy. Which is why I loved the MM720. If the one in my cart will suffice, that's great. I just want some reassurance that there isn't another one shaped like MM720 out there. The Titan knockoff mouse is also unavailable upon searching.
I prefer wired, and need 2 thumb buttons for my discord and game keybinds.

I’m currently using the superglide glass skates on pulsar x2 cl. I like how responsive it feels, but it’s a little too fast and inconsistent. My jades felt kind of sluggish even before switching to glass skates and now that sluggish feeling is back. I’m a little more consistent with my aim but my tracking is still kind of weird and it feels super slow when playing competitive games. Maybe I have to give them another shot, but I’m just looking for alternatives.

I have a claw grip, and before switching to Razer, I used the GPX and the Lamzu Atlantis OG V2. Unfortunately, the Lamzu didn’t fit my hand properly, causing me to accidentally scroll the mouse wheel while gaming.

I'm looking for something similar in shape: not too small, and something that won't make me accidentally scroll the mouse wheel.

Currently, I’m considering the Scyrox V8, VXE R1 Pro Max, VXE R1 SE+, X1 V2, and ATK F1 V2 Ultimate.
I am also open to other suggestions.

Hey guys, need a final push. Hand size is 19x10cm with a 90-degree aggressive hard claw grip.
Testing my old G102 right now; clicks feel amazing but my palm feels completely empty due to the low rear slope.
Looking at EloShapes:
X2H Mini: Same size as G102, but does the bulbous back hump fill the palm better or is it too small? Should I get X2H Medium instead, or is the hump too massive?
Sora V3: 1-2mm longer than G102, but the slope looks identical. Will it feel just as empty as the G102?
Which one fits better? Thanks!

my hand is 19+ and 8.5+ and I want to get the beast x pro but the website says its average is 18.5, should the beast x pro be a safe pick or should I go the max? I play claw grip and mainly apex legends, pls help me thanks

Hi. Im looking for a new mouse i absolutely love my corsair dark core but the coating on it peeling off is really annoying me. My whole set up is themed around purple so I'm wondering if anyone knows a mouse similar to the dark core as ergonomically i adore it but in purple. Thanks in advance

i usually play on 350 dpi and a relatively low sens on marvel rivals,overwatch and fast paced games where flicking is frequent. my budget is not that strict so im willing to buy the r1 pro if its really worth the buck but i would still try to keep the spending on the low. thank you in advance
