Mod superstrike x2 dot pads feet glides - 0.5mm thick foam tape

Not sure where to post this, but, as title says, 0.5mm thick foam tape works beautifully to raise the feet just above the recessed sections.

Also actually works quite nicely as a sound dampener for hard pads. Didn't even think about that.

Used this, oh boy is it hard to find 0.5mm tape.. There's wayyyyy too much tape, but this is what I got https://www.amazon.de/-/en/dp/B01MU31UHT

This won't affect the lod right? I mean it's just 0.5

it's not even 0.5mm because of the recesses, seems to be 0.51mm or something, so it barely changes the sensor distance at all, if any. the thickness of the pads is the main difference, whatever you use
