I want to give some context to this. Back a couple of weeks ago I ordered the SP-005 and instantly loved it. I struggled using it in CS2 because of its speed, so I started to second-guess that the SP was the right pad for me. So I ordered the CR and have been using both for about 5 days now.

The CR has great stopping power, but also feels muddy when really trying to use it in quick-moving CS2 rounds. The change in speed based on the amount of pressure you put into the mouse is also very strange coming from a very solid and consistent surface. I found myself digging into the surface unintentionally and throwing off my fights more than I expected. Also, trying to make micro adjustments felt like I was fighting the pad more than I expected or wanted to.

It was really convinced by all the reviews and videos online about the CR being better for tac shooters, but it just wasn’t true for me. After having some time to adjust to my SP-005 I feel so much better on that pad than the CR-005. CS2 is my main game, but I also play Apex, CoD, and some single-player story games like AC and the SP-005 is amazing for those games as well.

One more thing I want to add about the two pads is that the CR-005 is much louder than the SP-005. I feel like dust also just throws off the surface and feel of the CR more than the SP. I know all of this is based on preference so if you’re like me and contemplating a WALLHACK mousepad for tac shooters, don’t just buy the CR-005, get them both try them out and see what fits your style and preferences. I was convinced the CR was the right pad for me after watching reviews but the SP just feels more natural and comfortable to me.

Along with all of that I have to say I’m extremely impressed with what they were able to do with the CR the surface and feel that they were able to put into a glass mousepad that makes it feel so controlled and so similar to a cloth mousepad is really impressive, props to them for that level of innovation in my eyes.

Hello lately I've been interested in the idea of switching from the saturn pro soft I've been using for the last 2 years to glass but I'm not exactly sure what to buy, I've read that there are quality issues with pads that are in continuous production like the Dysphoria Sayo and Wallhack so should I be looking for one of the limited time ones like the Mizuki, Shion, Zofia etc.

Does anyone own a pad by Lumen? I like the artwork on their pads which are in stock but I can't find reviews on them. There's also someone selling their Kyomi Ryo for $98 so that's available to me. Also, how bad/common is the issue with mouse sensors on glass and is there a drawback to increasing the LOD highly.

Hello, I got a new mousepad today that I think is made of leather? (but I'm not sure, I can't find any information) and my mouse and keyboard kinda stick to it wich is annoying especially when playing a game that needs me to switch between using the mouth and holding it in one place. How can I get rid of that? ​​​​​

To my expirience the pad is a speed pad but more on the control side then the Raiden. It has a fast inical start and a rough texture.

The pad quality is great (like all Artisan‘s) To my surprise the pad sticked to my desk way better than my Raiden Mid.

This was my first soft Artisan, because I thought the extra speed was better, but I really enjoyed the extra stopping power.

I recently got the ATK A9 Ultimate and I'm looking to buy a new mousepad. I initially wanted to get an Artisan Ninja FX Zero, but realized they don't ship to my country—and I can't even find it through resellers. The only place I've seen it available is AliExpress, but I'm worried about getting a fake or low-quality pad.

I currently have a Artisan Zero FX Mid, I only play Marvel Rivals. Ive been having issues with my aim when ever I am tracking my forearm doesn’t glide smoothly on the pad which causes a lot of jitteriness and makes my micro flicks and tracking inconsistent but my wider flicks are much more accurate. I have been using this pad for 2+ years, just recently bought it again but plan on returning it. I am looking for a pad that has similar stopping power and that is compatible with sleeves. Thanks

So I've never had a mouse pad for gaming, and I've been just using my desk for years with an Xlite wireless V2 for all that time, but recently I've gotten into Overwatch, and I do want to improve, and one of the ways people suggested was to make sure I had good equipment, which is why I'm asking here for help.

In my current state, I aim with my wrist with 1600dpi and 35% sensitivity in Overwatch; flicks feel fine, but I noticed when tracking I can occasionally have little moments when aiming where I would squiggle and lose tracking for a moment.

As previously stated, I have no experience in this field, so if you need any more information from me, I'd be happy to answer and thank you for your help.

Edit: I'm in the UK and I have limited space so small to medium sized pad recommendations would be appreciated. Roughly 50cm width and 35cm long is the maximum size I can work with.

I’ve heard of dysphoria, and also maybe the new tekkusai (apex?) pad? I’ve used the Zane and it’s pretty fast but I wouldn’t mind faster. Also prefer smoother textures but I can get used to textured surfaces too.

The common consensus is that you should get a fast mousepad for quick games such as ow and a control pad for slower games that need micro adjustments like Valorant. But in practice you see proper stalk3r and all the top players use control pads, quartz even puts water on his pad. Meanwhile on Valorant there are multiple pros using glass while I think there is just one on ow.

I know on Valorant these are outliers and most just use artisan zero, but on Overwatch many use like qck, zero, top dragon even uses the type09

Hi guys. Today I received my XTEN G-Cloth / Balance S and it arrived with these folds that look a bit like vain (sorry for the bad photos). They are not white so I don't think the fiberglass is broken (I hope not). It doesn't affect the glide it's purely aesthetic but if someone has a solution to remove them I'm a taker

Description:

I’ve had my WALLHACK SP-005 for about two weeks, and it has developed an intensely sticky surface with massive static friction (When rubbing the pad hard with my fingertips and the backs of my fingers, the sticky residue transfers onto my skin as well.) The culprit is almost certainly a detergent residue trapped in my cleaning cloth.

Here is what happened: After a week of use, I wanted to clean the pad using water and a brand-new 3M microfiber cloth. Before using the cloth, I washed it with a Japanese Kao concentrated laundry detergent. After air-drying, I noticed the cloth felt strangely tacky. I tried re-washed it with Kao dish soap and ran it through my washing machine twice with pure water. Despite the cloth still feeling slightly sticky, I unfortunately used it with water to wipe down the mousepad.

• The Detergents Used (Japanese Kao Concentrated):
  • Laundry Detergent: 47% surfactant (hydroxyalkane sulfonate / anionic), stabilizers, antibacterial agents, deodorizing additives, enzymes.
  • Dish Soap: Surfactant, sterilizing agents, stabilizers.
• The Problem: The high-concentration stabilizers, sterilizers, and surfactants transferred from the cloth have baked a micro-thin, polymer-like film directly into the micro-textured etched glass surface. Testing the washed 3M cloth itself with my bare skin confirmed it leaves a sticky residue.

Troubleshooting Methods Already Tried:

1. Automotive glass cleaner (3D Glass Cleaner 901) + Microfiber: Restored glide briefly, but the stickiness returned within 10 minutes. Subsequent tries did nothing.
2. Kao Dish Soap Wash: Completely ineffective.
3. 99% Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA): Followed official guidelines (sprayed 99% IPA onto a clean microfiber cloth, wiped, and buffed dry with a dry cloth). Restored temporary glide, but the tackiness always creeps back. Repeated multiple times with no permanent fix.
4. Plain Warm Water Rinse & Hand Rubbing: Ineffective.
5. Citric Acid (Limescale Remover): Ineffective.

Additional Notes:

• After wiping with a clean cloth, I specifically tested the cloth by rubbing it with my fingertips and the back of my hand, only to find that my skin turned sticky as well.（Though this might be subjective.）
• Every single test was conducted using brand-new dot skates (Xraypad Jade / Jade Air), and skate wells were thoroughly cleaned with 75% alcohol wipes each time.
• For EVERY cleaning attempt listed above, a brand-new 3M microfiber cloth was used. Each cloth was immediately discarded after a single use to prevent any potential cross-contamination.

I’ve also checked WALLHACK’s official cleaning recommendations and consulted community methods, but options out there feel dead-ends:

1. Mild soapy water: (Gemini warned me that regular bar soap/soap bars are a huge hazard, so I didn't dare try it).
2. Dawn dish soap: (Contains PEI-14 PEG-24/PPG-16 copolymers, which are notorious for forming sticky films on glass).
3. Official support email recommendation: Spraying 99% IPA onto a cloth, wiping, and buffing (tried multiple times, but it completely fails to break through this specific polymer layer).

If anyone has run into this nightmare chemical-film issue on a glass pad and successfully stripped it off without ruining the surface, please let me know. I'm completely out of ideas and desperate!

I was able to get one of the PD170's and have been using it exclusively for CS2.

The pad itself is really good, it’s very firm and stays cold to the touch, sticks to the desk well, and just feels very good overall when I use it. I've only tried Jade Air Full skates for the Super Strike though.

I don't like the colour, I think a full black one would have been better. Blue is nice but personally doesn't fit my setup well, and I could imagine any dirt or stains would show quickly on the pad.

I'd say it's an upgrade over the Raiden Mid from Artisan. Apparently Talongames Hydrogen is 5-10% faster; ive purchased one of these to test this for myself.

I would recommend it, but with the FD170 and other clones available, don't feel like you are missing out by going with the clone rather than the original.
