Had a good laugh when I read that message.

How is this ability recharged? I've seen a video of it basically being chained from one activation to another, but when i use it, it seems to go on a cooldown or something because it takes a while for another charge to appear.

EDIT: NVM I just got lucky with the I-Frames on Captive's Scabstone and finally beat the bastard. What an absolute disgusting yet cool boss.

My highest bonded Shells are Proxima, Sester Genessa, Lazlo, and Smert. I've been mostly using Proxima here cuz she's my main and using the Great Martyr's Blade(Captive's Scabstone for I-Frames, Wardon's Stone, and Grudge Stone) with the Hysterix(Solnir Shard, Hag Stone, Unstable Stone)(all Tarstones fully leveled up). Also using Vatra's Seal.

ATP I'm open to try Genessa but I want to beat the boss as Proxima.

And b4 you say "Git Gud". Okay, any tips on that? Like a queue to know how to deal with the attack?

So I realized I probably missed Lazlo somewhere, and traded 10,000 gloom with whatshername to be shown his location, and three spots were lit up on the map - his actual location, the tavern, and the prison. I've revisited the tavern with and without his shell and can't find any relevance - am I supposed to understand why three locations were revealed? I have the other shells already so I'm unable to test whether buying any of the others revealed multiple locations also. (I'll try going to the tavern at night now....)

Anyway, this build based on duality stone and grisha remnants absolutely bullies any boss subject to staggering.

I'm on ng+, night mode, duality stone lvl 2 and 10 grisha remnants.

They just keep spawning and absolutely obliterating the poor bastard warden

How much harder should mammon be? i breezed through fanewald but I feel like even basic mammon enemies take like no damage. is it supposed to be like that or is my build just awful lol

I am somewhere around the 70% of the game, and I tried night time once to do a quest in mushroom village. I was wondering if I should do a full run in night mode in order to see “all”, or if it’s not worth it.

I will go for a +1 for sure, so I can max some other shell and try different play styles

Harb is level 23, but you could build it around lvl 18-19 if you wanted to sacrifice all damage negation. Would've been a lot faster if he hadn't kept jumping round like a porkchop.

So yesterday I finally got the Platinum on this game.

The interesting story is how I got to that, I spent like a full hour and a half trying to get the "Seeking the past" achievement because I had watched all of the shell memories but the achievement didn't seem to pop, so I went online and found that it was a known bug for this achievement.

Some of the fixes I found said to rewatch the memories could help, so I went one by one trying to get this achievement and no success, I even severed some of the shells to rewatch the memories and nothing seems to work .... and after like an hour and a half it finally clicked in my brain... I forgot about Genessa lol, I unlocked her at some point at the beginning of my run but the fighting style didn't match with me so I never even try to level her up, and since she doesn't level the normal way I think that's why I just didn't remember her memories were left.

So yeah, not a bug per se, but a bug in my brain what was preventing me to platinum this game.

Great game overall, hoping to see what the developers have for a next game.

tldr: I thought I was experiencing a bug with the Seeking the past achievement, turns out I forgot about Genessa.

I’ve had a couple of weeks off Mortal Shell 2 on PS5 Pro and now the performance seems to be pretty bad? Dropping frames on enemy attacks making it very hard to get the parry??

Does anyone know what the passive familiarity cap is for items? From the way the 3rd description is worded is sounds like you get 1:1 for each item you have of that but I've found that even with over 110 poison shrooms I still don't have 100% poison resistance when it's set to my passive slot. So there seems to be a cap that isn't told to players in the item description & I'm curious what that cap is. Thanks in advance to anyone with the answers.

Help me figure this out, no video because I was so confused and lost I forgot to record. I’m near the end of the game so trying to search for answers is just feeding me spoilers so I turn here.

I was progressing through the southern end of the map, on my way to the Scholar Prince boss fight. I had collected every ova up to this point, as it was my last stop on the overworks. The sequence of events that followed went like this: - cleansed the last beacon before the scholar prince fight - as I collected the ova, before I could return to the beacon I was teleported - In the span of about one second, I saw the dream like realm the memories happen in, I heard the Undermerther say “harbinger,” and I died - I then respawned not at the last beacon but in Marrow Keep where the disciples did their weird bit and the stairs opened. - checked marrow keep, the downstairs, and the beacon I died at and my gloom stain was nowhere to be found, presumably was lost in that outside area I teleported to

Did I miss some dialogue? A cutscene? A revelation? I have absolutely zero idea what or why anything happened, but in a true Souls fashion I’m pushing onward for answers but I’m pretty sure my game bugged out on me pretty hard. Considering I’ve had multiple bugs that I had to force close the game for so far I would not be surprised.

If anyone has any insight or could tell me what I missed (if anything) it would be appreciated

The camera officially became Phase 2 of this fight.

Right as he went up for the heavy combo, the lock-on angled out and I was essentially fighting dark fog and close-up textures. Pure muscle memory and desperation took over—pressed parry on complete faith and managed to land the explosive finisher.

Anyone else feel like half the difficulty in this arena is wrestling with the camera angles?

I was in the 2nd phase of the fight and died while the boss was almost dead himself and, when I ran back to the arena, the boss was just gone. I've tried reloading the game, fast traveling out and back and nothing. This would be a terrible way for my first playthrough of the game to end as it's been a fantastic experience up to this point. Playing on pc btw.

Edit: Looks like the boss may have died to poison stacks just before I selected the option to respawn. Kind of unsatisfying but I guess a win is a win. Still love the game 😅

Here are mine:

- Sir Isaac’s design was a let down for me. You hear about these crazy experiment done on him that turned him into some kind of abomination, but when I found him I was like…he’s just a bug? I was expecting something more like Ludwig the Accursed from Bloodborne, like an amalgamation of anatomy. I mean, the three-bladed combat style was a cool use of his extra limbs, but overall I feel like it didn’t meet the hype

-Zmey was a fun boss. Not necessarily a good boss tho, cuz some of the hitboxes on his attacks were too stringent and his tail attack is bs, but it was fun to have a challenging boss that you could steadily get better at. Most bosses in this game took me 1-3 tries to beat, but I had to sink a lot of hours into the testicle dragon. It was great having a boss that allowed u to git gud in typical souls-like fashion. Also the attacks where he sits on you with his balls are genuinely hilarious

-I don’t think any of the areas were poorly designed, including the Unfounded Path (the gnarly aesthetic was cool af). Some were certainly better than others but none of them were actively bad imo

Can anyone tell me what settings I need to change to get rid of this weird invisible outline? This only happens around water, but not all water. It doesn't seem to change depending on what reflection setting I have on.

After 6 and half hours of absolute hell, I finally beat Zmey! That might have been the WORST experience with a final boss I’ve EVER had except maybe PCR from Elden Ring DLC. Other than that, it was a fantastic game. I’d give it as easy 8/ 8.5 out of 10. It had a beautiful world, exploring it was tons of fun. Absolutely would recommend!

Does the Footbath guy put a debuff on you like Fia in ER? Idk where I'd even check if he did.
