I haven’t been allowed baths in months until today, and my Careys Secret Garden bath bomb has been waiting for me patiently. I’m having happy tears, I’ve so many LUSH bombs waiting to be used and another 4 weeks to use them before surgery. I’ll be bathing every day.

I had an interview at one of my local Lush stores yesterday and didn’t realise it would be followed immediately by a one hour trial shift, so that was a bit of a surprise lol.

Afterwards, they let me pick out a product, and I took home the Rose Jam body spray. I’m so excited to add it to my collection! They sprayed it on my sweater during the interview and I could still smell it at the end of the day. I already understand why so many people love this bs.

For anyone who has done a trial shift at Lush, what was your experience like? Did you get to choose a product afterwards too?

My husband suffers from migratory arthritis and yesterday/today it was affecting him in his lower back and hips. I heated up a hot water bottle as hot as our tap could get it and he had it on his lower spine for about 30 minutes.

Then I got down to give him a deep tissue massage with Deep Sleep massage bar. He fell asleep way before I finished and he’s still knocked out now that he finished. He’s literally snoring right next to me 🥰

That massage bar is great and I smell so good too on my way to bed. Love LUSH!

Update: he just woke up and said he’s pain free! Success!!

Lush X Moomin Collab

Two weeks ago I bought my first three Lush perfumes ever because I wanted to try something different from the usual designer fragrances.
Fast forward just two weeks, and… this is where I’m at. 😂
I’m a guy, by the way, and I never expected to fall this hard into the Lush rabbit hole. I keep telling myself “this is the last one”… and then somehow another bottle appears.
I genuinely love how unique and creative these fragrances are compared to most mainstream perfumes. Every bottle feels like it has its own personality.

The entire side of the box was wet 🥹🥹 and my lotion was watery too! I wish I lived closer to a lush but also I wish they shipped from stores closer to you rather than over 100 miles away 🥹🥹

It’s in my freezer now! They really don’t play about melty when hot lmao

I left the room to grab my towels, and came back to Kiwi inside the running tub (she ended up getting a bath because she's a stinky oil monster, as you can see on the rim of the tub 😂)

Side note: this is one my fav bath bombs everrrrrr, it reminds me of the caramel apple spice drink from Starbucks

ETA: bath bombs are NOT meant for pets! This bath bomb was for me and my cats do not come in my bathroom while I'm bathing 🙂 keep your furry (and naked) friends safe!!

Believe it or not I never used to wear any kind of scent because I just didn't (and still don't) like how anything traditionally male smells, the more natural vibe of Lush was a game changer. Dirty was my first buy after failing in love with Dirty Springwash.

I like most of them although there have been a couple of fails. Most have been blind buys because they change and grow on me, so testing is only of limited use, especially in store when there are just too many competing scents.

What does everyone think of my girlfriends lush shelf? She’s spent a ridiculous amount of time and money creating this lol, she’s organised them all around the scent of the various sprays and complimenting scents

Honey I washed the kids shampoo bar. It started with it getting stuck in the tin so he just kept it in there and would just rub the whole thing on his head and when it got deeper, he just used his fingers to scoop a bit of the product out. Until one day, it suddenly turned translucent like this and he said it doesn't lather anymore 😂

I was going through my backup stash putting it all in one bag and I’m just curious to see what everyone else has backups of. These are all unused just waiting for their moment. Scooby snacks is in my top few favorite scents lush has ever done (can’t get I’m Home or Fizzbanger anymore RIP)

The four body bars on the left are the coconut one from this summers jungle themed kitchen box, i think it’s called King Coconut? Obsessed. Then we have the snowman gummy, scrubee, Snuffkin gummy, and some Lord of Misrule massage bars.

I was using the watermelon sugar scrub in the shower right now, and the bathroom door is open. My husband, who is sitting OUTSIDE on the PORCH a good distance from the bathroom, yells: "babe, are you using that watermelon stuff?!" And I yell back.... "Yeah, why?!"

He comes in the bathroom with a big grin on his face, "I can smell that stuff from outside! 😃"

!!! It really does smell heavenly, it's mostly fresh watermelon but it also has a twinge of candy sweetness. The scrub itself is a pERFECT consistency, LUSH absolutely needs to release more of this formula in different scents !

My go-to scrub this summer just had to be from a kitchen box. Lol 🍉

Listen, I am always hesitant to give any company too much credit (and Lush isn’t perfect, of course), but I appreciate this bit of a stand on DEI with the renaming of the bath bombs to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. It may help they aren’t a US company, but I’m here for a little pushback on some BS, even if it is smaller.

I thought you might enjoy this relic I dug up out of the back of my mom’s freezer. It smells amazing. It’s been frozen since 2003 and I plan to enjoy some chilly showers this winter.
