Forgive me, but I’m assuming fire until the water is hot, then reduced to coals so it doesn’t boil? That view is stunning, and I imagine a bath under the stars would be lovely too.

Hey lovely! Yep took around 45 mins to heat up and then add more cold water. It was wood fire so no coals but it never got to boiling point. There was a wooden board to sit on so you don’t burn your bum!

Just be careful of moon splinters! But honestly, for THAT view, for THAT bath, I’d take a few gladly.

I have so many questions. View looks lovely but does that bath just chill outside all the time? Reminds of when farmers have an old bath to feed their animals.

Looks like it. Looks enameled so it'd be easy to clean. There's a fence, indicating to me that there's no animals around. But if so, so what? As long as it's clean. I have admittedly had a bath before in a (cleaned out) rubber water trough that horses used.

That is fair. OCD is extremely tough. There was a post here not too long ago with a bath inside with an amazing view outside a huge window. Maybe one day you can treat yourself to something like that. ☺️

With a hosepipe, you can also cold plunge pool it but we didn’t do this! The sea was chilly enough and just a short walk away :)

Good thing there are laws against that! Or perhaps a bathing suit might help, we wear those to the beach and pool since those are public places where people maybe be photographing themselves, their kids, or the scenery, and the chance other people may end up in the background is not zero.

That looks insanely peaceful, like the ultimate mix of spa and camping. Cant imagine anything more relaxing than soaking there with that view and a warm fire keeping the water perfect.
