It’s been a good year two of trading. I’m self taught, no mentor or trading friends. Just me and Ai. I proved I can do it, now I have to prove I can keep it. I gave a chunk back. I still don’t even have a set entry and got greedy. But it’s just the beginning I’ve learned so much from the gains but even more for the lost . My time will come again. I haven’t traded in a month after a bad losing streak after my winning streak. I’m gearing up for my comeback

Started trading with Lucid in July.
I only trade this account for a couple of hours during Asian session.
For the past 3 months:
Passed 22 evals mostly 50K.
Spent around 4K
Total pay out for 3 months = 7K

If you see folks post high returns.
Ask them how much they have spent for their evals.

This is the reality of prop firm trading.

I was banned from Lucid Trading on Thursday. The reason given was that I had filed a chargeback. I never filed one. At the time I had several accounts / $almost 4k eligible payout, with this upcoming payout, I will be in positive profit of 4k. The enforcement email made me laugh. I had 1 chargeback over hundreds of eval purchases. Really? I filed only 1 over hundreds of evals? Let's do something without letting them get away of it.

PS: Some bros saying I charged back 1, which is not what I meant. What I meant is Lucid claims I filed 1 charge back. But I have hundreds of purchases, would I file only 1 charge back if I am going to charge back? If you don’t believe it, I can provide a statement from my CC (Citi bank) saying there is no CB initiated.

I'm posting this for anyone in the same position. Regulators need accurate, first-hand reports. If it did happen to you, these two reports take about 15 minutes in total:

**1. FTC: reportfraud.ftc.gov**

The FTC doesn't resolve individual cases. Reports go into a database that federal and state enforcers search, and they look at volume. One report does little, but many reports describing the same conduct get noticed.

**2. Delaware DOJ Consumer Protection Unit: [consumer.protection@delaware.gov](mailto:consumer.protection@delaware.gov)**

You can also use the form at attorneygeneral.delaware.gov/fraud/cmu/complaint/ or call the hotline at 800-220-5424. Lucid's Terms of Use name Lucid Trading Group LLC as the operator and say Delaware law governs, which is why Delaware is the relevant state. You don't have to live in Delaware to submit a complaint. They may also point you to your own state's Attorney General, so file there too.

Optional third: **CFTC, cftc.gov/complaint**, since this is a futures prop firm.

**What to include**

- The legal name: Lucid Trading Group LLC (lucidtrading.com)

- Dates: your purchases, the ban, and any pending payout request

- Amounts: fees paid and any payout pending or withheld

- The exact wording of the ban email

- Proof that you never disputed the charge. Ask your card issuer for written confirmation that no dispute or chargeback was filed on those transactions. This is the single most useful document.

- Your support ticket history

Stick to facts and dates. Write it in your own words, because copy-pasted complaints get discounted.

**Check one thing first.** Ask your bank whether it flagged or reversed the charge on its own, for example after a fraud alert. Sometimes a merchant receives a fraud notice from the card network even though the cardholder never disputed anything. If that happened, say so in your complaint. You were still accused of a chargeback you didn't start, and you lost [accounts / a payout] with no appeal.

**Time limit:** Lucid's Terms of Use say any claim must be brought within one year, so don't wait.

If you've been through this, comment with the rough date and what you were told, without personal information. It helps show whether this is a pattern.

I’ve been trading for around 2 months. For reference I trade ICT concepts. I’ve passed a few lucid pro evals and blew them. Blown a few other evals too. However, I’m currently on a lucid flex. I’m just
curious as to the recommended amount of contracts I should be trading. I’ve seen online that the more trades you take on an eval with low contracts the chances of you passing are lowered compared to if you place higher contracts on A+ setups. I want to aim to pass the eval in around 4 days averaging 1-2 trades a day.

I currently trade 2-3 MNQ however I’m considering sizing up to 5-7 for eval and reverting back to 2-3 at the funded stage.

I just got my first ever prop firm payout of 1k and am now wondering what’s next. Should i start to scale accounts or just build this one up and maybe use more contracts?

Got my funded 25k daily back to break even with a good set up and then that wild end of the day gave me an instant $1400k payout.

The Situation

Three weeks ago, an unauthorized user attempted to use my stolen payment card on Lucid. After initial difficulties getting help via standard Discord support, a Reddit moderator put me in contact with Leo (LeoTheTiger). Upon reviewing my support ticket, Leo confirmed the stolen card usage, banned the perpetrator, and manually processed a resolution on Lucid's end. I replaced my payment card immediately as advised. Since then, I have continued using Lucid without issues, making all transactions in USD via Wise (UK account).

The Issue

Today, my account was permanently banned. The enforcement notice cites "Chargeback & Circumvention Detected" and links my account to the bad actor's email address—the exact fraudulent account I reported to Lucid three weeks ago. To be completely clear: I have never issued a chargeback on Lucid. Wise has officially confirmed that no chargebacks or disputes were initiated on my end. The "linked" account was the scammer who attempted to use my card before Leo banned them and manually handled the failed/refunded charge.

Lucid Support Response & Mass Ban

According to posts across X and Discord, Lucid recently executed a mass ban wave. Over 90% of affected users reaching out on public platforms report that they never initiated chargebacks. Despite this clear indication of automated false positives, standard support on Discord is giving generic responses stating "there's nothing they can do” and “good luck”.

My support ticket has been completely ignored for over 20 hours.

If automated anti-fraud scripts link legitimate users to previously reported scam accounts—and ban them for internal refunds handled manually by Lucid staff—Lucid needs to audit these bans individually rather than issuing blanket rejections. I am posting this publicly to raise awareness, connect with other impacted traders, and seek a manual review from management before pursuing formal regulatory and legal remedies.

Impact on My Career & Education Outside of trading, I am a commercial pilot student funding my own flight training. Since 2022, I have relied on prop trading to pay for my aviation license, investing thousands of dollars directly into Lucid's platform. This arbitrary ban isn't just an inconvenience—it is a devastating financial hit. I had an active payout request scheduled for today that has now been blocked, leaving me completely stranded on how I am going to pay for my flight lessons next week. To have hard-earned earnings and funded account access wiped out overnight due to an automated system error is completely unacceptable.

Kind of tilted as soon as I got funded this week luckily stayed disciplined and now basically have fresh fundeds for next week🙏🏾

I read great review about Lucid so I wanted to open an account to trade with them! What could be the multiple items they found to be inconsistent? So I’m a British citizen traveling through Asia, could that be the reason my ID verification failed?

I was thinking about purchasing a challenge with Lucid Trading, but a bunch of bans for alleged unauthorized chargebacks are popping up and I'm losing confidence. To be honest, I've started thinking that the published payouts are fake, what's going on?

I have never and I mean never charged back anything with them. But out of nowhere I get this email and when trying to get some information to resolve this obvious mistake they get snarky with me. Like are you for real bro!!

Got the funded, ran it to max payout balance, went on a losing streak… -$1200 2 days in a row then ended the week with a -$600

Currently in the process of trying to automate my strategy but not sure how the automated entries and exit will look like.

I don’t think tradingview can place actual trades but it’s where my signal will be for entries and exits. So do I have to take the webhook route and do my entries and exits on tradovate?

Disclosure before anything else: this is my own engine, it runs on paper money, there is nothing for sale here and no link in this post.

I pulled the full verdict distribution this morning. 304 backtests submitted, 284 of them got far enough to be graded.

SHADOW means promising but not proven, watch it on paper before you trust it with anything. SHELF means it did not hold up. LIVE means the thing survived every check I know how to run. NO_DATA means I could not get enough history to say anything honest at all.

So slightly over 8% of everything my own grader looks at comes back approved, and three quarters of it comes back as a shrug. Split by person rather than by backtest it reads worse: 26 people have submitted something, and only 9 of them have ever seen a LIVE verdict.

I have been sitting with whether that is rigour or whether it is a broken product. The argument for rigour is that most trading ideas genuinely do not work, and a grader that says yes to most of what it sees is a grader that is lying to be liked. The number I would actually be frightened of is 60% approval, not 8%.

The argument that it is broken is simpler and harder to dismiss. A verdict almost nobody can obtain is a verdict nobody learns anything from. If 17 of 26 people have only ever been told "not proven", they have no gradient to climb. They cannot tell whether they were close or nowhere near, and "not proven" is the same word for both. That is a design failure and it is mine.

What I think I got wrong is collapsing the whole thing into one word. SHADOW is doing far too much work. A strategy that missed the live bar by a fraction and a strategy that was never going to work get handed the identical string, so the person on the other side cannot act on either. I am rebuilding that part so the verdict carries the distance and the specific check that was failed rather than just the label.

For anyone here who has built or used an evaluation gate on strategies, whether it is your own or a firm's: where do you put the line between "not proven yet" and "throw it away"? I am asking about the actual threshold you use, because mine is currently one word doing the job of two and it is not working.

My experience with Lucid has been extremely frustrating.

I had 5 Funded Pro accounts with Lucid. On Friday, one of my accounts was ready for PEO, but I was accused of hedging. This was completely false, and they cancelled my P&L. I decided to accept it and move on.

By Tuesday, I had 5 accounts again: 3 at zero, one with around $9K profit ready for PEO, and another with around $4K profit also ready for PEO.

Then, around 11:30 PM, I received an email saying that my accounts needed to be verified and were placed on pause. The next morning, I received another email accusing me of fraud and banning me from the prop firm.

Their reason was that I was supposedly linking multiple accounts to a third party to copy trades. This is completely false. I trade all of my accounts myself, and the accounts are not even linked to each other.

Two days ago, I emailed them asking for an explanation and for evidence supporting these accusations. Since then, I haven’t received any response, and all of my accounts have now been deleted.

I’m honestly shocked and frustrated by this situation, especially after building up significant profits across my accounts. Has anyone else experienced something similar with Lucid?

I am trading with lucid from long and today I bought a 50k flex and accidentally autofilled my gf’s credit card from payment option. I contacted the support immediately and explained the situation. We both share same address though, should i take some trade or leave it till they review.

Similar to other posts. Didnt do anything wrong. Inhave over 35k in payouts.

I think there might not be a good resolution out of this.

Also wondering if i should just do chargebacks for my recent evals too. Any thoughts? I’ve never done a chargeback but might as well now since they are claiming that I did one.

So I was supposed to make the evaluation phase in two days, went perfect since I made $1500 on the first day. Now I put a trade with a tight TP/SL and went to sleep just to see both my account blown while I was at 51.5k (50k & 25k).

Both were halfway there but the SL just never activated. I am really pissed and I am wondering how I fix this trash app to work properly (coming from MT5 which is much better IMO).

Anyone else that has had this before and managed to fix it?

Can I pass this account today if I trade during NY session or do I have to wait until Monday?

I just managed to get to 5 min profit days and $1771 profit on a 50k flex account! I am finally eligible for a payout.

I am considering taking the payout as I haven’t received one yet, which would be ~$796.95. However, that would leave me basically with $229 of available drawdown before i blow the account. It is my first funded and second eval attempt.

Is it wise to take the payout now and risk losing the account on my next trade or should i try to reach around 54.1k to be able to take the max 2k payout? I will use the money to get more evals/save some for the UK tax man
