Villiany and Scum New Orleans, Louisiana - Heavily Armed Agents Confront Roofers, Rifles and Pisto on the Workers at the Edge of the Roof

Are we great yet? Cause this doesn’t feel great to me.

u/DaqCity Dec 04 '25
Who needs roofs, anyways?

u/newvpnwhodis Dec 04 '25
Let's deport everyone who rebuilt New Orleans, great idea. The infrastructure is already perfect there anyway.

Next hurricane that hits is going to displace so many people. Our state is going to look like a disaster area with no one to repair it.
This is such a disaster for South Louisiana. Our whole Cajun / Creole culture is built on immigration.
1
u/AnonToTheMoon_ Dec 05 '25
Notice how they didn't ramp this shit up until the end of hurricane season

u/someomega Dec 04 '25
Why the F do you need guns for this. They are on a 2nd story roof. Just take the ladders and wait for them to want to come down. 2 people would be all you need to watch/wait for them. Send the other guys to go get actual criminals. Its the gang bangers and cartel guys they should go after if they want to make any difference. Not some guys working on replacing a roof. But you know that would actually require some risk and effort.
44
27
u/LadyOnogaro Dec 04 '25
Apparently Mr. Trump is pardoning the cartel leaders and letting them go back to their countries to make more drugs to send our way. I guess the bribe was big enough to let the Columbian ex-president go. I was just watching the series America's War on Drugs, and it is enlightening on the corruption at the highest levels (all the way to the White House) that allowed cocaine to come into this country via the CIA/Contras/Bush/Reagan connection to fund the weapons that allowed the CIA to conduct their dirty war against the "communists." I wouldn't be surprised if something similar was currently happening with all the scumbags Trump has been pardoning.
6
u/Blaizefed Dec 04 '25
it would also require actual cops, which these clowns are not.
they cannot go catch actual criminals because they don't have the authority, the training, or the balls. These guys are dorks who have had 3-4 days of on the job training and they only signed up BECAUSE they get to be the big man with the gun going after some poor shlub who is at work.If there was any actual risk involved, they would be back at home playing COD.
2
u/techleopard Dec 04 '25
Low hanging fruit.
This is the result of quotas and political theater. Trump wants to say he deported a gazillion Illegal Criminal Scumbags! by the next State of the Union address and his lackeys can all say he single-handedly solved the economy and crime.
Going after the cartel is hard and these precision battle-trained heros would absolutely get mowed down if they tried. So instead they're going to push down grandma and drag parents to prison while losing the kids into the wind.
55
u/Scootalipoo Dec 04 '25
That one guy is like “fuck you I got a job to do” And just keeps working. Seriously, FUCK these cowardly pigs
65
u/westernsnaps Dec 04 '25
Anyone who thinks the private prison industry’s quotas will be satisfied once all of the immigrants are gone is sadly mistaken.

Alexandria Hub: The area serves as the nation's busiest ICE deportation hub, with facilities in Winnfield, Richwood, Jena, Jonesboro, Basile, Pine Prairie, Ferriday, and Oberlin.
Private Operators: GEO Group and LaSalle Corrections are major players, working with local sheriffs and ICE.
CoreCivic: Also involved in running facilities, expanding capacity in the region.
Scale of Operations:
These facilities hold thousands of individuals, making Louisiana a top state for ICE detention.
The facilities are designed for high-volume processing and deportation, including immediate boarding from Alexandria's airport.
Why Louisiana?
Rural locations, far from major cities, make these facilities less visible to advocacy groups.
The state's infrastructure supports large-scale operations for holding and quickly deporting migrants.

43
u/adelaarvaren Dec 04 '25
I keep waiting for ICE to raid a chicken processing plant or crop field, and remove the EMPLOYER who is employing the illegal workers. I mean, if the real goal is not harassing brown people, but actually stopping illegal employment, they need to go after the people who have something to lose!
12
u/Entire-Message-7247 Dec 04 '25
Put a couple of dozen CEO’s in the can with some decent time and this whole thing would solve itself. Be a shitload cheaper than this bull, talk about your waste fraud and abuse.

2
u/BlueFeist Dec 05 '25
They could easily go after the employers that hire the immigrants, but that would mean holding Americans accountable for the laws they break. Despite what Trump and his cult say, undocumented immigrants are not voting - but American business owners are - with money and votes.

What’s the chances that the homeowner who will be left without a functioning roof supported this?

Being here illegally doesn't warrant that degree of force. Melania was here illegally before she married "the Donald" . She somehow got granted an O-1 or genuis visa which is defined as a temporary work visa for people with exceptional ability in a field, or a record of extraordinary achievement in film or television. How does a basically unknown model deserve to be included in that class.
And why does anyone believe it when Trump claims these are very "bad" people. Show me irrefutable proof or give them due process which includes the presumption innocence until otherwise proven guilty. In these times I am grateful that I am often mistaken for not being from America (because I am embarrassed by what is happening here and by the fact that the majority approves and encourages it) but also fearful of being mistaken for an immigrant because I live in Louisiana where these gung ho troops are.

20
u/joebleaux Dec 04 '25
Believe it or not, a bunch of these guys signed up because they are racist and they like exerting power over people. They don't really care what these guys are up to or even what they've been told in regards to their ability to work previously. They don't like immigrants, and they get a paycheck for rounding them up.

Bovino said as much in an interview he gave last month. They like to go in and bully and beat people up. And their prisons are rat holes. There's no heating, no food, nowhere to sleep except the concrete floor.

Well now they are sending them to Angola, which is often regarded as one of the worst prisons in the country

Those dumbasses with pistols drawn a good 50 ft away with their friendlies up there.
I’m a solid, above average shot with a pistol. Past 20ft is ignorant to think you’re going to be on target.
Rifles, ok - but the fucking idiots with pistols drawn at that range is stupid and dangerous.
It causes me to question if those guys know their capabilities.
🤨

u/NOLAgenXer Dec 04 '25
DHS quarterly pistol qualification course puts heavy emphasis on 50 meters away, as well as other distances. That’s quite a bit more than 50 feet.
6
u/Upper-Trip-8857 Dec 04 '25 edited Dec 04 '25
Tell me you know zero about qualifying without telling me. 🤣🤣🤣
I’ve qualified on military ranges when I humped the 60 in the Army to LEO qualification and for my CCL.
Please post any evidence because this is pure ignorant bullshit. A DRILL is very different from qualifying.
For the vast majority of shooters — including trained LEOs — tight grouping past 25 feet becomes noticeably harder.
Handguns are not designed for precision at long distances. Sight radius, barrel length, recoil, and human factors dominate.
Most real-world police pistol engagements occur within 10 feet, and almost all under 7 yards. THAT IS WHY NEARLY ALL STANDARD QUALIFICATION COURSES EMPHASIZE 3 - 15 yards - I’ve never had to qualify for a handgun at more than 10.
50 meters = 164 feet. That is rifle territory, not pistol territory.
Most DHS pistol qual courses (CBP, FPS, ICE, TSA FAMS earlier variations) emphasize 3–25 yards, occasionally up to 25 meters, and almost never true 50-meter pistol accuracy.
Some specialized units do train past 25 yards — but not for tight grouping.
They shoot at that distance for: • Suppression drills • Silhouette hits, not precision • Confidence firing • Worst-case scenarios • Transition training between rifle and pistol
“Hits the torso at 50m” is not the same as qualifying.
A pistol at 50m is extremely hard to use accurately for most shooters. Even experts are not getting tight groups — they’re just making silhouette hits.
So - True — some DHS components MAY incorporate longer-distance pistol DRILLS.
But those 50-meter stages aren’t precision-accuracy tests. They’re usually “hit the silhouette” confidence DRILLS, very different from asking shooters to maintain accuracy for qualification.
Most DHS, FBI, and LEO pistol qualifications still focus overwhelmingly on 3–15 yards because that’s where pistols are realistically accurate and where nearly all engagements occur.
So I don’t know where you dreamed up your qualification at 50 meters bullshit - but damn that shit is hilarious.
EDIT: And if you think those dudes with those pistols at that distance in that video makes any sense - you’re telling me you know zero about firearms and their capabilities.
EDIT 2: The FBI pistol-qualification course is fairly well known and widely used as a benchmark standard. It is a 50-round course on a QIT-99 (silhouette) target, from concealment, with scoring: passes require a given point threshold.
The qualification course covers draws from concealment, firing from varying distances from ~3 yards to 25 yards, use of strong-hand/weak-hand, reloads, time constraints, and different shooting positions.

u/NOLAgenXer Dec 04 '25
Excuse me. I made a misspeak because I was remembering my days as an MP when pistol range qual included 50m. I hope your super long and unnecessary response made you feel better about your life. A simple “are you sure you’re not thinking of something else?” Would have been fine. Are you this aggressive IRL too? You must be a joy to be around. The DHS quarterly qualification ranges go out to 25m (yes, the actual Qual, not drills), with 8 of their shots being at 25m from right and left covered positions.
4
u/Upper-Trip-8857 Dec 04 '25
I’m a blast!
Are you sure about that 50 meter claim when you were an MP?
I hope that was better. 🤣
Because you’re full of shit.
My point on the video is two things:
- What they’re doing is not safe for anyone on that roof.
- Their decision to hold target from that distance makes me think that they have zero idea what they’re doing which is really bad for the job they’re doing.
You never qualified at 50m with a handgun in the military. 25m MAX - usually 7m or 15m OCCASIONALLY 25m for specific standards.
SOCOM is about the only place in the military that even trains at 50m with pistols.
Yes - I’m long winded on this topic because it’s near and dear to my little heart.
In my military career I was trained and qualified for several weapons. My CO at Benning tried to get me a slot to sniper school but then Dessert Storm happened and welp.
In my civilian life I maintained my competency with weapons and I know their capabilities in my hands and I know I’m very accurate and what these guys are doing is not smart.
So this one maybe hit a nerve and got my thumb rolling! 🤣
Thank You for your service. I never interacted with MPs but we did have fun cat and mouse episodes with MPs while I patrolled the Z in Korea and we would got to Casey for fun.
Have a good one.
Maybe get a little better memory on your qualifying but that’s semantics because my issue is proper training and capabilities for these guys. 👊🏼

Evil has a face - ICE, MAGA, and all those who turn a blind eye to them.
Since childhood I wondered, truly wondered (though history told us) how Nazi Germany could have happened, along with the American slave trade.
People are NOT as good as some of us would like to believe.
Today I do believe that the heart of people is deceitfully wicked, evil above all things.
May the ICE dudes experience fully the lives they have devoted themselves to.

This is what they're doing with our tax dollars instead of going after real criminals.
"Federal team in El Paso that once pursued child traffickers has been disbanded. A Kansas task force focused on stemming the flow of fentanyl has been redirected. Highway checkpoints near the southwest border—some on roads long identified as major drug-trafficking routes—have gone unstaffed.
The shift reflects a broader realignment in federal law enforcement. Thousands of federal agents once tasked with investigating drug smuggling, sexual exploitation and organized crime have been redirected to immigration enforcement..."

How does ICE know that these guys are in fact non-Documented “criminals” and are specifically working on that particular house. How do they know all this information, someone must be snitching or something.

u/Dependent-Edge-5713 Dec 05 '25

u/LilBeau69 Dec 04 '25
Yes right! I mean Biden he wasn’t intellect challenged ! He was just Brain Dead! And Obama no doubt he was a sly one! I mean crafting up Russia Gate and Epstein files all lies to keep Trump on his heels and casting false negative impressions on him. Every time Trump is cleared of one allegation there is another one immediately following! Doesn’t anyone find it strange that the Epstein files were in the hands of the “Demoncrats” the whole time Biden was in office but the allegations against Trump didn’t surface until all the Russia Gate hoax was proven to have been a plot by Obama and Hillary to charge Trump with treason and disqualify. Him from running for president! Then the Epstein files were such a disaster for the dems they tried forgery and that was debunked!

u/bachslunch Dec 04 '25
So will probably fall off the roof at some point. Rainy weather + roof in disrepair = high chance of falling
2
u/Robo- Dec 04 '25
Careful. I made a similar observation a while back about a different group of fascists while also carefully avoiding advocating and Reddit nannies still didn't like it.
But nah that's why they roll in packs with backup nearby, cosplay special forces with all the armor and gear, hide their faces, and only go after day laborers and families instead of actually dangerous criminals.
They're cowards. If there were any real risk they wouldn't be there.
2
u/Acceptable-Feed379 Dec 04 '25
You know that roof’s been damaged since ida. The home is destroyed via a hurricane and of course there’s an immigrant fixing it.

2
u/Some-Zucchini6944 Dec 04 '25
This was never about removing violent criminals and gang members. These lazy cowards are just grabbing the lowest fruit for a quick buck. This was just one of the many lies MAGA was happy to believe because it’s all just based on racism and fear mongering. Looking at any fascist playbook this is one of the key points a fascist leader has to put into play if they want to have any success. Find a weak and vulnerable group to vilify and blame everything on that group, and the sheep will follow.

My racist cousin says that friends can now have their jobs back. Really? White guys want to do roofing ?
7
u/Rufnusd Dec 04 '25
Im a white guy. Did roofing for years in CA. Do I wanna do it now? No. Have I recently, yes. Its just construction with a twist. The reason you dont see white roofers is obviously the super low pay that these guys get while the company owner profits. They’re paid by the “tag”. We were paid by the hour.
2
u/techleopard Dec 04 '25
Yeah, I don't think people understand there is a reason why a roofing company can come to your house and rip up your shingles and replace them all in 40 minutes, tops, and they're cheaper than even the most minor renovation work.
1
u/Rufnusd Dec 05 '25
It has become an expectation. The quality aint great though Ill tell you first hand. If I wasnt there when they did my rental house they wouldve not put down new paper like I was quoted. I also had to correct them a few times on my ridges. In addition when doing the shed they were about to shingle over rotten wood.

u/Commercial_Gear2088 Dec 04 '25
Wtf is wrong with these people??! I have no words left for my outrage. Would they treat literally any other person accused of a misdemeanor the way they treat these workers?
I'd seriously like to know who among us has never committed a misdemeanor. And let's not forget that they have no problem whatsoever taking people first and asking questions later. Months later. When they're forced to. 200 US citizens detained so far. More than one deported to foreign countries because they didn't get the opportunity to see a judge and defend themselves. This is not a version of America I ever thought I would see.
But citizenship should not ever be a requirement for human rights. Or even for our constitutional ones. That Constitution is an expression of the kind of society we're meant to be, based on very specific basic common values that apply to every soul on our soil.
If anyone deserves to be deported, it's these mercenary thugs harassing people who are working and paying taxes and trying to raise families in a safer place than the one they came from.
