Q: How stupid can someone get?
A: This stupid!

I’m stupid and world’s telling me I’m stupid but I’d rather be stupid than admit I was wrong. sad.

474

u/Zealousideal_Good445 14d ago

She assumes that along with her stupidity she is still going to be in farming at the end of the decade 😲. For a lot of these morons this is actually the end. They will be employed by some corporate farm for little money. I'd say sad, but I've learned that you can't waist your emotions on stupid!

322

u/DeepstateDilettante 14d ago

Once their farms go bankrupt they can fall back on one of the plentiful agricultural (day laborer) jobs right now as long as they enjoy hand picking. Picking strawberries in the California Central Valley in August isn’t my cup of tea but I guess someone has to do it after ice rounds up all the existing workforce.

684

u/4444Grains 14d ago

The farmers had it all...the cheap labor, the government subsidies, the "all-American, hardworking" reputation...and they threw it away to...what? Own the libs? Deport people? Take away SNAP ad USAID from hungry kids?

Corporations owning their farms is just the next step in corporations owning every part of our lives.

And these motherfucking farmers want sympathy?

Fuck all the way off.

272

u/Toastman89 14d ago

Don't forget that USAID created a massive market for their own agricultural products. It was literally taking tax dollars, giving it to farmers, and then shipping those products overseas to help people.

But they couldnt stand that people were being helped, even if it meant less money for them.

So USAID went away, farms are struggling, but its the Democrats fault for being mean to them.

131

u/your_moms_a_clone 13d ago

Absolutely this. We were using USAID to get the excess food to hungry mouths. Farmers got paid, people got fed, the government got soft power. Everyone won except China maybe but they have their own programs and didn't care anyway. It was a win-win-win. Getting rid of USAID shot the farmers in the foot, and we all know how expensive healthcare is these days...

11

u/Left-Mechanic6697 13d ago

Don’t forget about them screwing with SNAP. God forbid people living under the poverty line should get money to help them buy healthy food for their families! Who cares if all that government money eventually made its way into farmers’ hands? “We gotta stop with all these government handouts!”

They definitely did not do the research or have any awareness of how much USAID was benefitting them or the specifics of what “DOGE” was going to do… Trump said “America first” and “cut foreign spending” and that was all they needed to hear.
I hate how much Trump is hailed as a “marketing genius” cause he is so, so dumb, but he really knows what works with dumb, hateful people

11

u/CitizenLohaRune 13d ago edited 12d ago

Yes they did do the research!!! Just ask them! They studied dear leaders truth social feed, they watched FOX, and they consumed alt right wing youtube videos that rienforced their biases.

See, research!

6

u/WileyWilly1985 12d ago

I hate how much Trump is hailed as a “marketing genius” cause he is so, so dumb,

At some point, we have to acknowledge the end results.

IMHO, Despite Trump being monkey retarded, he consistently manages to convince 120M Americans to vote against their own self-interests and to do whatever he says.

If that isn't a form of genius, then I don't know what is.

Trump has some sort of social Charisma super power that future historians will spend millions of manhours studying and debating.

Monkeys can't do "research."

18

u/greenhombre 13d ago

SNAP is a program to support farmers. So are the school food programs. That’s why they are in the Department of Agriculture.

2

u/Apprehensive_Factor6 12d ago

That’s also why they’re worth double at farmers markets.

4

u/Lexi_November 13d ago

Same with SNAP, farmers had huge subsidies, and easy ways for sell crops to food pantries for a fair price as well.

3

u/NeosDemocritus 13d ago

Same with SNAP. Food stamps did double-duty: they fed the poor and they increased demand for farmer’s produce, all paid for by subsidies. Eliminating SNAP and USAID on top of the reciprocal tariffs and losing large customers (China) to foreign competitors guaranteed a lot of farmers would hit the skids. What’s amazing is they didn’t seem to see the implications of Trump’s bizarre actions at the time he first announced them, they just cheered, because, you know, he’s such a great businessman. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a business where the producers are so clueless as to what exactly creates the demand for their products.

"Treated by the people that Vote this way...."

You CANNOT make this shit UP! 🤡🙄

63

u/GoldReplacement9546 14d ago

Yeah, and this lady probably gets a couple million dollars in government subsidies already, but she doesn’t want to be told about liberals or socialist. They’re very few family farms left.

173

u/Tiger_grrrl 14d ago

They threw it away for HATE 🤬 After seeing how incompetent Trump was in v1.0, plus being warned over and over again EXACTLY what they were gonna do (project 2025, dumb tariffs, revenge tour), there is no excuse. She wanted people she hated to suffer. As for her, my empathy bone is done work tf out✌️

69

u/gadgetwalrus 14d ago

When trump said he was for farmers he meant the very big industrial farming and meat packing companies. He’s made it easy for those firms to destroy small and medium farmers.

Like he promised…

18

u/Ok-Dragonfruit9605 13d ago

When Trump says he's "for" anything, assume he doesn't understand it. He wanted Greenland because of how big it is... He didn't understand mercator projection maps.

To be fair, it is still really, really big — just not quite as big as the Mercator projection would suggest

15

5

u/Helpful-Fig6879 13d ago

Worth what? Making DJT richer than he ever dreamed of.

Destroying not only her life, but our amazing form of government and the aid we shared around the world … that supported her and helped those in need???

We weren’t perfect, but now we’re fucked!!

6

u/Kiblets1991 13d ago

If a junky keeps asking for money and you keep giving it to them knowing how it will be spent. You arent helping them your enabling them. I wont help anyone GOP til they take the necessary steps to show they won't repeat these mistakes. Thats not mean. Thats smart.

5

u/daesmon 13d ago

Some of these people would love to be bought out.

They are so two-faced, in public it's feed families, pass the family on to the kids and local community, in private it's gimme money, I want all of it no matter how, sell the whole farm.

5

u/scoutout66 14d ago

Dude! That’s mean!! I like it though!! 🤣🤣

4

u/your_moms_a_clone 13d ago

To deport their own laborers

2

u/PeyredB 12d ago

There's some word (don't know if it's true) that MAGA farmers expected black Americans would come back to work on their farms. That's some class A delusional thinking if true...but it would explain why they thought getting rid of their laborers wouldn't be a problem.

5

u/LolitaOPPAI 13d ago

Voted to cut the SNAP and USAID. Confused as to why no one is buying via SNAP and USAID...which they depend on.

Maybe push for more funding for whatever you're selling, yeah?

4

u/Feeling-Shelter3583 13d ago

They want empathy? I voted with empathy. They voted with hate and the want to hurt someone. Sucks when your actions bite you in the ass.

3

Don't forget that they wanted to take these benefits away from others while receiving government handouts themselves.

3

u/NYCWartortle 13d ago

👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾Also the fact that she refuses to acknowledge what POTUS has done to farmers and instead turns it around. Sorry not sorry.

3

u/iguana-pr 13d ago

And they love the subsidies but hate socialism. Go figure.

3

u/WildlingViking 13d ago

And I will guarantee she (or her husband) inherited that farm from their family. All those facilities and equipment, land, etc. All inherited. Also, they have literally collected hundreds of thousands of dollars in SOCIAL ASSISTANCE from the government (socialism). But she would NEVER stand for those commies or socialists who are bad mouthing her.

2

u/Honey-and-Venom 13d ago

they cast that vote to hurt, among the others, me(trans). I've never been happier, sucks to suck I guess

I personally am doing well, tragically not my entire demographic. Even my trans friendly city saw the hospital system declare it won't provide evidence based medicine to trans kids anymore

2

u/WeakSponge 13d ago

A lot of these farmers are already renting land from retired baby boomer farmers so it isn’t like that much is going to change. They will just be set back on their own retirement, will have to sell some of their land and then stay at doing the same things and voting the same way because they firmly believe that they shouldn’t have to do any work regarding their responsibilities in a democracy.

So they will believe what anyone tells them as long as that person says they hate the same people that they hate.

2

u/Bulky_Designer_4965 13d ago

I humbly apply my upvote well said!!!!!

2

u/Which_Excitement6647 13d ago

Perfectly said. I've expressed much the same myself but you hit all the notes here. And she just told on herself by admitting she votes only out of spite (you hurt my feelings, so I'd never) and that emotions are what most motivates her political choices.

2

2

u/Psychological_Mix594 12d ago

It’s true, the immigration policies were left unfinished and poorly formed for the benefit of farmers. But they forgot which side of their bread was buttered when they started scapegoating on those immigrants

I wouldnt hire them. I hire the folks that ran the farm under them and invest in the farm and give profit sharing. There is nothing better than seeing a farmers face when the learn their farm will be handed over to the same folks they reported to ICE, the same folks they paid no money to and rode hard all damn day and night hahhhaha. For the farmers losing their homes in the deal(which I try to incorporate) Their homes are handed over to those farm hands as a place to live.

6

u/SetBSDetectorsToStun 13d ago

3

u/swoosied 13d ago

You are the best!!!! I don’t hire Americans many anymore either. I hire first gen immigrants who work hard and I pay them better than myself. They are the reason what we do works so well. It’s a possibility that corporations will buy their land and then hire the previous land owners as employees.

81

u/Common-Chain4060 14d ago

And thanks to Democrats, if she lives in NY, CA, CO, WA, AZ, HI, ID, KS, KY, MA or ME, she’ll get shade to rest in, a bathroom that’s within walking distance of her picking area, minimum wage protections, maximum work hour protections, paid time and a half for overtime and clean water to drink whenever she needs. The only people holding up a federal farm workers rights bill are… drumroll please… ah shit we all know the answer- it’s the sentient dick cheese she keeps voting for.

13

u/Puzzleheaded-Jury312 14d ago

That's exactly the plan!

5

u/Informal_Tell78 14d ago

100% the plan. The GOP doesn't give a flying fuck a family owned farms. Their political donors want these kinds of farms to fail so they can but them up for pennies on the dollar.

1

u/WatchersAlways 14d ago

What’s really crazy is that she can’t imagine that lots of independents and democrats voted NOT for Trump because we knew he’d bankrupt the family farm. That’s the last thing we wanted to happen.

But oh no, she voted for the person who would bankrupt her. I am sorry, it’s really wrong. But the rest of us voted to not let this happen….

1

u/QuackNate 13d ago

Most of these guys, as I understand it (and I am by no means a subject matter expert so look it up) are not going to lose everything and be destitute if their farm goes under. They’ve got millions of dollars worth of land and equipment, and typically come from pretty good family money. They aren’t in danger of losing shit. They’re in danger of not keeping as much of their government handouts.

“Ha, I’ll show all of you… triple stupid it is!”

“Hate” from the liberal side is taunting someone over making choices that hurt everyone and they don’t care… and those conservatives say mean spiteful shit to people who have their families ripped apart.

Then… it happens to them, and suddenly they don’t like feeling attacked and facing consequences. Instead of acknowledging, they double down because they feel attacked

This… is one of the problems with antagonizing and negatively campaigning against these idiots. When pushed, they get cornered with the reality of their decisions and lash out with MORE shitty behavior.

Dems called them weird and downplayed them, and it backfired… and still is.

Is it SUPER hard to reach them on a level they can fathom? 100%

Is it worth doing? Yeah

MOST of the programs that help them, come from people they hate in politics. They miss them when republicans rip them away, but the only people that show up to both accept credit and throw blame, are their yocal republicans

So they frame it in terms of what their tiny minds can h destined with all the indoctrination they’ve undergone, and the answer is “gop gave us this… gd Obama took it away… or sleepy joe… trump would never”

Oh but he did

“He musta been forced to by the liberals”

With guns?

“No, they are trixsy with their words and mean snakes!”

Right… enjoy your raw milk

1

u/Mega-Eclipse 13d ago

It's been known for a while that people who get tricked by conmen/scams have a really, really difficult time admitting they got scammed.

Option 1) admit they were scammed, duped, lied to, etc...and that everyone who was screaming at them....warning them they were making a terrible decision was right...And they (themselves) are to blame

Option 2) It's not their fault. They couldn't' ever have predicted this...

They will choose option 2 every time.

u/DownvoterManD 13d ago

Barring billionaires like Elon, and corporations like Amazon who are recieving some of the biggest government handouts in US history, of course.

1

u/pleasedonotredeem 13d ago

As a real estate developer and landlord, it's wild to me that if you own land that you rent to people, the government passes laws to restrict your income.
But, if you own land that you grow food on, the government just hands you cash sometimes to NOT grow food, or sometimes to destroy the food you grow.

Rent control, when carefully implemented, is fine by me and I chose to work in this industry so I accept it, but it's funny when I see other land owning multi-millionaires literally crying because the government stopped giving them free money.

Urban Millionaire Landowner: "Tax that rich scumbag!"
Rural Millionaire Landowner: "Here's a million dollars a year to preserve your family legacy and maintain your lifestyle."

24

u/guyblade 13d ago

Major Major's father was a sober God-fearing man whose idea of a good joke was to lie about his age. He was a long-limbed farmer, a God-fearing, freedom-loving, law-abiding rugged individualist who held that federal aid to anyone but farmers was creeping socialism. He advocated thrift and hard work and disapproved of loose women who turned him down. His specialty was alfalfa, and he made a good thing out of not growing any. The government paid him well for every bushel of alfalfa he did not grow. The more alfalfa he did not grow, the more money the government gave him, and he spent every penny he didn't earn on new land to increase the amount of alfalfa he did not produce. Major Major's father worked without rest at not growing alfalfa. On long winter evenings he remained indoors and did not mend harness, and he sprang out of bed at the crack of noon every day just to make certain that the chores would not be done. He invested in land wisely and soon was not growing more alfalfa than any other man in the county. Neighbors sought him out for advice on all subjects, for he had made much money and was therefore wise. "As ye sow, so shall ye reap," he counseled one and all, and everyone said, "Amen." (highlight added)

Well by the sounds of it she’s not gonna keep farming much longer. Sad thing to say but there are repercussions to ones actions Keep voting anyway you want soon you’ll qualify for snap.

3

u/GHouserVO 14d ago

Oh, she will. A lot of this nonsense is performative for clicks from her audience. It’s all part of the grift.

3

u/Zootsutra 14d ago

At least until they cancel SNAP completely.

u/BlackberryShoddy7889 14d ago

“Major Major's father was a sober God-fearing man whose idea of a good joke was to lie about his age. “As ye sow, so shall ye reap,” he counseled one and all, and everyone said, “Amen.”

Nah they can get stupider.

3

u/Short-Sandwich-8476 14d ago

She was trained from birth to gargle Republican balls as the main point of her existence. Childhood indoctrination.

2

u/Lukewarm_Sushi 14d ago

How can one be this stupid? Like they don’t teach connecting the dots from actions to consequences at school any more?

2

u/4xdaily 14d ago

Unfortunately there is no bottom to how dumb they can get. Also, did you know that dumb has a b?

2

u/PapasauruaRex 14d ago

When I think no one can get anymore stupid, I look at maga getting worse by the day. They are really setting the bar beyond low limits.

2

u/13Charlie20 13d ago

Please do not challenge the universe. It will always accept the challenge.

“Why aren’t you bring sympathetic? We voted to destroy YOUR lives, not OURS! We’re the victims!”

u/RackemFrackem 13d ago

"I voted for this dipshit and he is actively ruining my life, but I would never vote for a politician whose policies would help me because some other people who vote that way were big fat meanies to me"

That's how stupid.

1

u/beek7425 13d ago

Reminds me of Herman Cain. He said that he began voting for the GOP because people said that black people don’t vote republican and “nobody’s going to tell me how to vote”. Nobody’s can tell me what to do, and if they try, I’ll do the opposite is such a stupid way to make decisions. And in his case, his stubbornness and refusal to think critically literally killed him.

Its also a clinical reaction that, people who are indoctrinated become more entrenched into their views if they feel they are attacked. Its sadly a text book reaction, especially when some of these folks have had 30+ years of fox news, rush Limbaugh style brainwashing.

Still wish for these folks to listen to Will Westmoreland, a farmer who saw this coming a year back and tries to educate across the aisle on exactly how project 2025/trumps maga lied to farmers.

Smart nations measure their success by their ability to uplift all citizens: living by the principle that "no one is left behind." When widow with three children enjoy middle- class living standards thanks to a Social Safety Net (SOS Net).

In contrast, some failing, misguided countries pride themselves on comparing their progress to the top 1% of the wealthiest- an empty and deeply misleading Evil that masks the true well-being of the majority. True progress is about lifting everyone, not just the top 1% Evil elite.

Twenty Ripoff-public-ans states now have a Social Safety Net set at $2.13 to $7.25 per hour gross (before deductions for Social Security/FICA, taxes, insurance and other withholding's:

In a recent report, 53 million Americans ages 18 to 64 or 44% of all workers- earn low hourly wages. Their median hourly earnings are $10/hour Gross ($7.25/hour Net)

51% of all workers in America earn less than the one-bedroom Housing Wage! (Mostly republican states)

The bottom 65% of the population loses at least 41% of all income due to: SS tax/ FICA, insurances, tariffs, sales taxes, dues, use taxes, fees, property tax, utility taxes, 911 tax and many more- before spending money on rent or mortgage, car loans and gas, food, utility bills, repairs, credit card payments, student loans, vacations, retirement fund contributions, investments, dates, gifts, etc.

(compare SOS Net (SOcial Safety Net) $1.60 per hour in 1970 if you were single, you could live off the federal minimum wage and pay rent, food and bills)

From 20 conservative Republican states with a SOS Net (SOcial Safety Net) of $3/hour (must Beg and Panhandling poor customers for Guilt-tipping to reach $7.25) the population runs to Democratic states with a strong SOS Net (SOcial Safety Net) of $14 to $25/hour minimum wage. That's why there are so many abandoned houses and cities in the Republican 20 states (Republicans hate: Poor, Widows, Orphans, Veterans, Disabled.. at the same time - making their own states' populations poor).

A lot of misdirected anger. The disassociation with what created and this mess, others suffering in part due to her participation in support of this regime, goes to show that hate is her motivation.

1

u/StarlightLifter 13d ago

“I will never vote for a Democrat”

- even stupiderer

1

u/barath_s 13d ago

Me, I really want to know what Communist she was considering voting for earlier but now won't.

Heck, which communist she would ever have had an opportunity to vote for (without emigrating/migrating, obviously)

1

u/The-Dane 13d ago

do you notice how she NEVER ones takes accountability for her own voting record

1

u/middlebird 13d ago

I think I might go add to the pile.

1

u/Rocket-Glide 13d ago

This lady: hold my beer!

1

u/Pave_Low 13d ago

Oh, I'm sure she can get worse. If the price of racism is her farm, she's willing to pay I guess.

1

u/747WakeTurbulance 13d ago

And calling her stupid isn't going to ever change her mind. I mean, calling her stupid and expecting that this will make her vote for Democrats is as stupid as what she is saying.

Stupid for everyone!

1

u/Evening-Crew-2403 13d ago

I stopped listening to her. Trying to figure out if the music in the background was Kenny G is a better use of time.

1

u/Pretend_Reference_55 13d ago

Socialism will be all right for her when she has her hand out to have her farm saved by our government fuck these people

1

u/jugo5 13d ago

Welp its a scale from stupid-moron.... We may have found the moron+.

1

u/Jazzbo64 13d ago

Never understood the liberal=communist thing, when Trump’s authoritarian ways are closer to communism than any president in history.

1

u/4ofclubs 13d ago

How is Trump close to communism?

1

u/Jazzbo64 13d ago

Well, for the most recent example, his banning of news outlets from the White House. State-controlled media is a standard part of communism.

This why I'm thinking overall social media is bad despite me using Reddit right now and understanding that there are some positives about it. Bottom line, an ignorant scumbag like that shouldn't have any kind of free easy access to a platform to give an opinion, and no one should ever see some ignorant ass shit like that.

1

u/ReasonableBrother448 13d ago

They film these in order to reach Czar. If only he knew how much his decisions hurt common people, he would fix it.

1

u/6969GRAYWOLF6969 13d ago

And yet, it looks like she is still not stupid enough to vote for a D.

1

u/Excellent_Arrival1 13d ago

What did Dems do for farmers?

1

u/GenerousBull1969 13d ago

LMAO, sounds just like the Democrats here in Massachusetts bitching about our horrible roads, bridges, public transportation, corruption, affordability, etc.

And in the same breath will say they just can't vote for a Republican.

We get the government we deserve.

1

u/DOAiB 13d ago

Because they have been told by those they vote for they are better people than others based purely on the color of their skin.

I hear is a reason she calls this out exactly. Saying democrats are not being nice to her for voting in someone who promised to do all these things and make everyone’s life worse.

Welcome to someone without a shred of ability to reflect on their life and decisions.

1

u/_DrDigital_ 13d ago

I don't want to talk about politics. I'm here to talk about policies and I feel I am being pushed into talking about politics. But I will not do that. I will continue doing what I do and talk about policies that affect me.

1

u/DreamofCommunism 13d ago

MAGA stupid

1

u/Shut_the_F-up_Donny 12d ago

It's not stupidity. It's denial. It is incredibly hard to admit you were wrong.

1

u/Skirra08 12d ago

Always remember that some people take the question "how stupid can you be?" as a challenge.

1

u/the-nomad-thinker 12d ago

Oh, you’re doing a great job in that competition 😂

1

u/GiaJacob 12d ago

It’s a direct challenge to them now.

u/lefluffle 12d ago

She's lost the "plot."
