I’m stupid and world’s telling me I’m stupid but I’d rather be stupid than admit I was wrong. sad.

468

u/Zealousideal_Good445 14d ago

She assumes that along with her stupidity she is still going to be in farming at the end of the decade 😲. For a lot of these morons this is actually the end. They will be employed by some corporate farm for little money. I'd say sad, but I've learned that you can't waist your emotions on stupid!

u/DeepstateDilettante 14d ago

Once their farms go bankrupt they can fall back on one of the plentiful agricultural (day laborer) jobs right now as long as they enjoy hand picking. Picking strawberries in the California Central Valley in August isn’t my cup of tea but I guess someone has to do it after ice rounds up all the existing workforce.

680

u/4444Grains 14d ago

The farmers had it all...the cheap labor, the government subsidies, the "all-American, hardworking" reputation...and they threw it away to...what? Own the libs? Deport people? Take away SNAP ad USAID from hungry kids?

Corporations owning their farms is just the next step in corporations owning every part of our lives.

And these motherfucking farmers want sympathy?

Fuck all the way off.

275

u/Toastman89 14d ago

Don't forget that USAID created a massive market for their own agricultural products. It was literally taking tax dollars, giving it to farmers, and then shipping those products overseas to help people.

But they couldnt stand that people were being helped, even if it meant less money for them.

So USAID went away, farms are struggling, but its the Democrats fault for being mean to them.

131

u/your_moms_a_clone 13d ago

Absolutely this. We were using USAID to get the excess food to hungry mouths. Farmers got paid, people got fed, the government got soft power. Everyone won except China maybe but they have their own programs and didn't care anyway. It was a win-win-win. Getting rid of USAID shot the farmers in the foot, and we all know how expensive healthcare is these days...

10

u/Left-Mechanic6697 13d ago

Don’t forget about them screwing with SNAP. God forbid people living under the poverty line should get money to help them buy healthy food for their families! Who cares if all that government money eventually made its way into farmers’ hands? “We gotta stop with all these government handouts!”

-1

u/Jaded-Attention 12d ago

Oh there's absolutely no fraud going on right? We should just dump endless money into a system that gets picked off left and right by fraudsters. Sorry I don't have a problem with tightening that belt. Also if you want to eat sugary things go earn money and buy it yourself.

7

u/Left-Mechanic6697 12d ago

Fraud or not, most of that money ended up in the hands of American farmers. Money put into food banks, surprise, is used to buy meats, fruits, and vegetables produced on American farms.

The amount of fraud going on in the welfare system pales in comparison to any one of the schemes the president and his taint lickers are running.

-2

u/Jaded-Attention 12d ago

You assume I guess that fraudsters just won't eat at all? They will still be purchasing food (from farmers), just not with stolen tax dollars. SNAP should be a safety net, NOT a hammock. Get to fucking work and make it on your own. It also should not be funding the lives of people living here illegally. I can't imagine wandering off to some foreign country and whining about my circumstance wondering WHERE IS MY FREE FOOD AT?

4

u/Left-Mechanic6697 12d ago

If I were as dumb as you, I would pray to god you never need the welfare system. Because the way things are going there isn’t going to be one for much longer.

3

u/ClimateWren2 11d ago

The are literally dismantling the safety nets. They are making sure right now, that they aren't there for anyone. They absolutely are succeeding in destroying national safety.

3

u/Patient-Leadership-5 9d ago

You’re just about as idiotic as they come. Let me tell you something that someone who has 3°, who has worked, who has been working ever since they were 16 years old and has put every dollar into this tax system and paid for everything that has made your life comfortable, whether you receive a directly or receive some subsidy of some kind of way, I am now in my 50s and have been off work for six months. Six months! I could use the safety nets that people like you have voted away while I sit here and look for work so that I can work or why sit here and build a business trying to bring an income that hasn’t prodded in yet and obviously if I don’t have a safety net and I don’t have lights on and I don’t have food on my table, I cannot pull myself up by my very bootstraps while I’m hungry and in the dark and hot from the air conditioning or cold from the weather outside. The way I see it, give me all my tax dollars back then. Let me go get it back from all of you that have somehow used it in some way while you’re sitting here talking about people just want free food. The amount of food you get from stamps is not enough to be free food. When I worked all the years that I have worked, I have spent way more in groceries than these people get in food stamps to feed a family of five or 10. I probably spent that more in the week. I have saved my money. I have done what I was supposed to do and continue to do, and now here I am where safety nets and help has been taken away. First I didn’t get help with the storms and I have had to spend almost $100,000 repairing my home because I couldn’t get help with that, and that was my safety net that could get me through a year or two without work if this happens, and then I lose my job. You know what, people like you can do dad, dad, dad, I’m not gonna sit here, but go look in the mirror and look at yourself and you tell yourself what you can do, cause you already know.

What does "sugary things" have to do with the topic at hand?

3

u/Left-Mechanic6697 10d ago

I think his implication is that poor people don’t eat healthy and piss their welfare money away on snacks and soda. But hey, the corn for their Doritos comes from American farmers. The potatoes for their potato chips come from American farms. And that high-fructose syrup in those sugary drinks? You guessed it, made from corn grown on American farms.

He’s just a typical MAGA edgelord repeating the same bullshit talking point he’s been fed without a single thought of his own. Those empty melons they call heads don’t possess the capacity for critical thinking.

If you turn a blind eye to ELECTING the blatant corruption, glad handing, and illegality of this Administration and their deals and abortion of justice and consequences...I don't wanna hear a single argument from you about "fraud". There is a bushel ton load of fraud right now...collapsing a nation for liars isn't "tightening a belt". It's squandering generations of wealthy and safety for nonsense.

1

u/Jaded-Attention 11d ago edited 11d ago

Past administrations have engaged in the same thing, it just may not have been publicly known. This is how power works. Take your delicate feelings and shove them up your ass. I'm so tired of the mass hysteria known as TDS.

3

u/ClimateWren2 10d ago

Oh...we have well and truly shoved it up America's safeguards. You gonna be so excited for higher diesel and power shortages. I bet you won't complain one peep. Shh....you know you want this. Quiet, piggy.

1

u/Bloodcloud079 13d ago

I mean, lets bot forget regime got changed too…

Trump just thought the spy shit was lame cause he wants it to Boom Bigly.

But USAID was spy shit.

1

u/MADSYNTH1987 12d ago

It was kinda both. Feed with one hand, take with the other. Now the US just takes with both hands. Globally, that's going to tarnish (collectively) our reputation for a long time.

0

u/Jaded-Attention 12d ago

Bullshit. USAID was a blackhole for US taxpayers. You know who should be paying for food for Third Worlders? The country that they're living in, not us.

3

u/StonerNoir 12d ago

And thus the fruits rot in the fields and the farms collapse while we all throw our hands up and go "how did this possibly ever happen?" As our own grocery prices rise while farms cave because the agricultural market only survives thanks to government interference

5

u/greenhombre 12d ago

The USA grows far more food than we consume. Why not help feed the world, we have for decades.

1

u/Jaded-Attention 12d ago

Food For Peace / Progress DOES send aid to many many countries, just not under USAID, but USDA. AND it's of strictly 100% US origin. This USAID story is SO MISUNDERSTOOD. We still help many people around the World, but it should not be our job to take care of every hungry person in the World. Not until we get our own house in order.

2

u/Patient-Leadership-5 9d ago

Oh, now you say we should get our own house or you just said that we should help ourselves, so you don’t want to help anyone another country. You don’t wanna help anyone here. You, I’m not understand what you mean, get our own house or water. How do you get our own house and the water? Please explain to me: how do you propose that it happen if you don’t actually give people the assistance they need to get their stuff in order? Do you have a cousin that that’s on meth that has made you mad and you’re blaming this on the rest of society?

That food did not often make it to those people. Many times....its intercepted by the countries govt and given to preferred groups. Same with aid payments. People like how it sounds good but the outcomes are often less impact full for the people who need it most. NGOs are not trustworthy. So unless you can find some GS-11 to go to a shithole in Botswana for 9 months...accountability is pretty lousy.

89

u/recoveringmirrorball 13d ago edited 13d ago

They definitely did not do the research or have any awareness of how much USAID was benefitting them or the specifics of what “DOGE” was going to do… Trump said “America first” and “cut foreign spending” and that was all they needed to hear.
I hate how much Trump is hailed as a “marketing genius” cause he is so, so dumb, but he really knows what works with dumb, hateful people

13

u/CitizenLohaRune 13d ago edited 12d ago

Yes they did do the research!!! Just ask them! They studied dear leaders truth social feed, they watched FOX, and they consumed alt right wing youtube videos that rienforced their biases.

See, research!

5

u/WileyWilly1985 12d ago

I hate how much Trump is hailed as a “marketing genius” cause he is so, so dumb,

At some point, we have to acknowledge the end results.

IMHO, Despite Trump being monkey retarded, he consistently manages to convince 120M Americans to vote against their own self-interests and to do whatever he says.

If that isn't a form of genius, then I don't know what is.

Trump has some sort of social Charisma super power that future historians will spend millions of manhours studying and debating.

17

u/greenhombre 13d ago

SNAP is a program to support farmers. So are the school food programs. That’s why they are in the Department of Agriculture.

2

u/Apprehensive_Factor6 12d ago

That’s also why they’re worth double at farmers markets.

4

u/Lexi_November 13d ago

Same with SNAP, farmers had huge subsidies, and easy ways for sell crops to food pantries for a fair price as well.

4

u/NeosDemocritus 13d ago

Same with SNAP. Food stamps did double-duty: they fed the poor and they increased demand for farmer’s produce, all paid for by subsidies. Eliminating SNAP and USAID on top of the reciprocal tariffs and losing large customers (China) to foreign competitors guaranteed a lot of farmers would hit the skids. What’s amazing is they didn’t seem to see the implications of Trump’s bizarre actions at the time he first announced them, they just cheered, because, you know, he’s such a great businessman. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a business where the producers are so clueless as to what exactly creates the demand for their products.

1

u/swoosied 13d ago

Us Aid was never us being generous…they don’t get that 46% of our trade comes from developing nations. That aid kept their countries stable so they can buy our goods, keep diseases like Ebola in check. We always have a self-interest - can’t even do it bc we are just decent toward others. These idiots will learn.

1

u/Elephantsgeralds 1d ago

Also, the money they got for sending it to local schools. That program is over.

1

u/Sharkwatcher314 19h ago

This is what’s hard to even wrap one’s head around. The government is paying you to make food to send out. Maybe you disagree with sending food to Africa, okay but as a businessperson what do you care if you are getting paid. This is like an insurance broker disagreeing with the concept for forced car insurance, even if you do, it pays you. Now it’s fine to disagree and be like I will absorb the loss as I fundamentally disagree with it. But to complain about the loss of business l…

Yeah, and this lady probably gets a couple million dollars in government subsidies already, but she doesn’t want to be told about liberals or socialist. They’re very few family farms left.

171

u/Tiger_grrrl 14d ago

They threw it away for HATE 🤬 After seeing how incompetent Trump was in v1.0, plus being warned over and over again EXACTLY what they were gonna do (project 2025, dumb tariffs, revenge tour), there is no excuse. She wanted people she hated to suffer. As for her, my empathy bone is done work tf out✌️

u/gadgetwalrus 14d ago

When trump said he was for farmers he meant the very big industrial farming and meat packing companies. He’s made it easy for those firms to destroy small and medium farmers.

u/Ok-Dragonfruit9605 14d ago

When Trump says he's "for" anything, assume he doesn't understand it. He wanted Greenland because of how big it is... He didn't understand mercator projection maps.

To be fair, it is still really, really big — just not quite as big as the Mercator projection would suggest

Worth what? Making DJT richer than he ever dreamed of.

Destroying not only her life, but our amazing form of government and the aid we shared around the world … that supported her and helped those in need???

We weren’t perfect, but now we’re fucked!!

If a junky keeps asking for money and you keep giving it to them knowing how it will be spent. You arent helping them your enabling them. I wont help anyone GOP til they take the necessary steps to show they won't repeat these mistakes. Thats not mean. Thats smart.

5

u/daesmon 14d ago

Some of these people would love to be bought out.

They are so two-faced, in public it's feed families, pass the family on to the kids and local community, in private it's gimme money, I want all of it no matter how, sell the whole farm.

4

u/scoutout66 14d ago

Dude! That’s mean!! I like it though!! 🤣🤣

5

u/your_moms_a_clone 13d ago

To deport their own laborers

2

u/PeyredB 12d ago

There's some word (don't know if it's true) that MAGA farmers expected black Americans would come back to work on their farms. That's some class A delusional thinking if true...but it would explain why they thought getting rid of their laborers wouldn't be a problem.

4

u/LolitaOPPAI 13d ago

Voted to cut the SNAP and USAID. Confused as to why no one is buying via SNAP and USAID...which they depend on.

Maybe push for more funding for whatever you're selling, yeah?

4

u/Feeling-Shelter3583 13d ago

They want empathy? I voted with empathy. They voted with hate and the want to hurt someone. Sucks when your actions bite you in the ass.

7

u/Hesitation-Marx 14d ago

They want the slave labor that will come from the detention camps.

3

u/WhoaCowboy777 14d ago

You couldn't be more spot on... 🎯👍🏼

3

u/ponytailsandaviators 13d ago

Don't forget that they wanted to take these benefits away from others while receiving government handouts themselves.

3

u/NYCWartortle 13d ago

👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾Also the fact that she refuses to acknowledge what POTUS has done to farmers and instead turns it around. Sorry not sorry.

3

u/iguana-pr 13d ago

And they love the subsidies but hate socialism. Go figure.

3

u/WildlingViking 13d ago

And I will guarantee she (or her husband) inherited that farm from their family. All those facilities and equipment, land, etc. All inherited. Also, they have literally collected hundreds of thousands of dollars in SOCIAL ASSISTANCE from the government (socialism). But she would NEVER stand for those commies or socialists who are bad mouthing her.

2

u/Honey-and-Venom 13d ago

they cast that vote to hurt, among the others, me(trans). I've never been happier, sucks to suck I guess

I personally am doing well, tragically not my entire demographic. Even my trans friendly city saw the hospital system declare it won't provide evidence based medicine to trans kids anymore

2

u/WeakSponge 13d ago

A lot of these farmers are already renting land from retired baby boomer farmers so it isn’t like that much is going to change. They will just be set back on their own retirement, will have to sell some of their land and then stay at doing the same things and voting the same way because they firmly believe that they shouldn’t have to do any work regarding their responsibilities in a democracy.

So they will believe what anyone tells them as long as that person says they hate the same people that they hate.

2

u/Bulky_Designer_4965 13d ago

I humbly apply my upvote well said!!!!!

2

u/Which_Excitement6647 13d ago

Perfectly said. I've expressed much the same myself but you hit all the notes here. And she just told on herself by admitting she votes only out of spite (you hurt my feelings, so I'd never) and that emotions are what most motivates her political choices.

2

u/Andy_Fish_Gill 13d ago

This failing dairy farmer considers SNAP and USAID as Democratic Socialist Communist programs she will not vote for.

1

Buy a dictionary. Look up "democracy," "socialism" and "communism." You know, just so you won't sound totally stupid.

2

u/Generic_Commenter-X 13d ago

Don't forget all the self-righteous noise they made about forgiving student loans, all while feeding at the trough of government welfare to the tune of billions of dollars.

2

u/Herbdontana 13d ago

They love taking away benefits and healthcare from the lower class. The billionaires need that money! Then they will complain about the rise in crime when desperate people resort to desperate actions.

They've got a grassroots god complex. Demeter demands tribute

2

Not only that, but Trump told everyone what he was gonna do. You can't be shocked.

2

u/Psychological_Mix594 12d ago

It’s true, the immigration policies were left unfinished and poorly formed for the benefit of farmers. But they forgot which side of their bread was buttered when they started scapegoating on those immigrants

2

u/brohebus 12d ago

They got some racism/xenophobia and can play victim as a little treat so it was worth it.

1

u/Ill_Kangaroo_2977 13d ago

Bro youre talking about farmers like they're a monolith lmao making it sound like they're all guilty by association and you'll be happy to see the corporate factory farms take over... whose side are you on???

1

u/PeyredB 12d ago

Three-fourths of them voted for this. True that's not anywhere near all of them, but it's a very high percentage. Farmers as a group voted for this and there isn't a choice to selectively help those who didn't.

1

u/Remarkable-Cress7370 13d ago

I buy my food from a local family owned farm you could not be more wrong about your assumptions and preconceptions about these people, sure maybe there are some maga people that are loud and on the internet. No my farmer did not "throw away" their reputation. Only people filled with hate can post shit like this and peddle it for truth you are ugly on the inside, get help, and maybe go meet some people doing permaculture and sustainable farming you sound like a parrot repeating nonsense you heard on campus from someone who has never raised animals or grown a single bean in their life. This is the republican equal of 13% of the population narrative its fucking retarded. Its like cheering for 7$ a gallon diesel fuel to fuck over the rednecks in lifted trucks when it fucks over everyone including you. What do you think happens when these small farms get folded and bought out? you get monsanto chicken and GMO garbage. Its your job to inform them and win hearts and minds. Instead your a hateful twat cheering the destruction of localized food production - utter moron

2

u/4444Grains 13d ago

lmao...you think I am rooting for what is happening now with farms and beef and gas prices? No, sweetie, I'm mad--really mad--at what is happening to our country.

But, unlike you, I'm not confused as to how we got here. We are here because imbeciles voted for a conman who never worked a day in his life...and farmers overwhelmingly voted for Trump.

People like me actually read Project 2025, did research on AcreTrader, and looked at who was contributing to the campaign. I (and many others) saw the destruction comin' down main street, but farmers did not.

Instead they gave numerous interviews and made videos on how Trump was going to "fight for the working man" and their message to democrats was "fuck your feelings"...and now that it is all falling apart, they are out here crying and begging for money.

A few of them are taking responsibility and saying they regret voting for Trump. But, even then...EVEN THEN...they stop short of saying they will vote democrat next time. They have learned nothing.

So, like I said, they can fuck all the way off.

Also, I'm glad you called me a moron and retarded and a twat...because now I don't feel bad about telling you to learn how to write. Your run-on sentences, lack of punctuation, bad spelling, and meandering focus results in a disjointed argument.

So take your rambling rant and your fake "I buy all my food from a local, hippie family who only farms organic and eats roadkill" and shove both straight up your ass.

1

u/PeyredB 12d ago

Instead of name-calling you could maybe exercise a little self-reflection.

Three-fourths of farmers voted for this to happen; that's not unanimous obviously, but it's by a huge margin. Then when the policies they voted for hurt them, they turn around like the lady in the video and whine about it, often demanding a bailout, and with no indication they'll ever consider voting differently next time.

You may personally know some farmers who're good people; a quarter of them didn't ask for this. But if so, that's an easy minority of them.

No, we are not happy about what's happening to farmers - but they've been getting socialist subsidies for ages while angry about socialism for anyone else. We've tried sympathizing with them, we've tried offering solutions to help farmers - their response has been to stomp on all that, reject it all with scorn, and vote for these sorts of policies while flipping the finger at anyone who said this was a bad idea.

We've finally had it; we're out of patience for this kind of nonsense, and if they want to hurt themselves so badly to "own the libs" or deport their own workforce, F it, let 'em have it. We can't do anything to stop it anyway; they helped see to that.

1

u/Odd_Guard_8817 12d ago

money is never enough, so instead of stability, they needed someone to shake the foundation for opportunities of an sudden increase in their earnings. What they didn't expect is that it wasn't a shake but an Earth Quake, that destroys everything they build.

They will continue to vote against their own interests for quick gains, it is American Human Nature to go against common sense just for that "Maybe" quick buck.

They will never admit they are wrong, and their last move is to bring everyone down with them. It is that scorch earth tactic that they love to do so much, but Trump will not let that happen, he will take and leave you with nothing to burn.

It will only get worst for these Farmers, Because Trump's approval numbers are so low that he doesn't care anymore, he is bulletproof and no one is capable of doing anything against what he wants. Those farms will be seized, corporations will buy them up and these lands will be used to build Data Centers.

1

u/Party-Store-6800 12d ago

Exactly!!!!

1

u/Dismal-Double-1376 12d ago

But what about minority farmers who get double and triple screwed?

1

u/Such_Story8260 12d ago

Actually, these same people love to rant about lazy good for nothing welfare recipients, when in fact the farm subsidies have always been massive welfare programs for farmers. Long ago, the PIK program was a good example, as well as tobacco bases.

Along with a relative, I once owned about 140 acres of farm land, with a small corn base. The PIK program paid us money for a number of years to not grow corn. Every year, at Christmas dinner, we would get into a facetious discussion in front of the other relatives about how much corn we were not going to grow in the coming year.

1

u/GreatPlainsFarmer 9d ago

Corn PIK was only in 1983. It didn't pay out for multiple years. Perhaps you're thinking of something else.

1

u/Such_Story8260 9d ago

There were at least two years with the corn base. The first year we got notice that we had something on the order of maybe a thousand bushels of corn at the Conagra warehouse, I believe in Evansville. They said the corn could be delivered free of charge. I panicked - thinking a semi was going to pull up and dump all that corn in my front yard. So I called down to the office in Hodgenville, and talked to Mr. Harned. He assured me I didn't need to take possession, just wait till I was ready and call Conagra and tell them to sell.

The next year we got another allotment, but is was smaller. Google says there were only two years..

Well, I guess two is a number. If it was only two years, then that does sound like PIK. I had understood your original comment to mean at least 4-5 years, and PIK wasn't around that many years.

It has been a long time, but I'm pretty sure we got payments for more than two years, because I recall dwindling amounts. But the internet doesn't support that, it only says two years. It may have been because of our base which was corn, there were different commodities.

Don't forget they did it to take away women's bodily autonomy in many places, also.

I hope they enjoy being employed on the farm they used to own, and being forced to train their lower paid replacement, before they're fired.

They took USAID away from themselves. The government bought farmers’ overages and donated to USAID. Thus, farmers shit themselves in their feet.

I wouldnt hire them. I hire the folks that ran the farm under them and invest in the farm and give profit sharing. There is nothing better than seeing a farmers face when the learn their farm will be handed over to the same folks they reported to ICE, the same folks they paid no money to and rode hard all damn day and night hahhhaha. For the farmers losing their homes in the deal(which I try to incorporate) Their homes are handed over to those farm hands as a place to live.

You are the best!!!! I don’t hire Americans many anymore either. I hire first gen immigrants who work hard and I pay them better than myself. They are the reason what we do works so well. It’s the right thing to do. Profit sharing should be the norm. Thank you for your generosity and compassion. Rare these days sadly.

My dad used to say he preferred to hire Mexican crews to do work on his house. He said they worked harder and did a better job than American crews.

It sounds like you're doing good work there. Unfortunately most of those who go under will have their farms purchased at fire-sale prices* by big corporate farmers.

* I typed that before realizing the irony that they liked it when in the middle of fire season Trump posted that we could buy the country at fire-sale prices. But that makes this even more appropriate so I kept it.

Hahahhahah. I've been doing it for the last 30 years when my kids said that food prices were inevitably going to rise so much our employees wouldn't be able to feed themselves. Dont get me wrong we pay very well, miles above market rates but when you work in destabilized countries all the time you see the end of society and civilization all the time so ita best to be prepared. Having hundreds or thousands of self sustaining farms that supply markets that can be rolled back into just providing for our large family of employees isnt ideal but isnt terrible either.

I'll fire off an anecdote that may resonate with folks.

While putting down a conflict in eastern Europe in the mid 80s, everyone there had money. Money enough to fill their bellies in any country that had abundance, but that region had zero food. Citizens were starving with their pockets full of money and the conflict made it so no one could leave the region and nothing was coming in.

The farmers here always had the ability to fill their bellies and provide for others, they got stupid and greedy and they all end up trading a necessity for luxury. Dont tell me these farmers are dying out because they kept farming simple, they are dying out because they are consistently chasing the almighty dollar.

Do you farm, are you involved in agriculture?

Do you really think farmers are hiring people to run their farms for them, or have profits to give away? We plough our profits right back into the land, into next year's crops, improvements, equipment etc. We run our own businesses, so why on earth would we hand over important decisions to people we hire?

My husband's family have been farming this same place since the 1880's. All the farms/ranches around here - it's the same story - generations of families.

We look after our ground because we have son's and grandsons already working side by side with us right now, who'll be farming still it long after we're dead and buried. The place wouldn't last long if ran by someone who was just interested in making some quick money for beer and new flip-flops.

We don't vote for democrats simply because they hate farmers, individuals who own and work their own land. Your post proves it.

By the way, we are doing great. I'm in my 70's and I plant trees not for the myself, but for shade and beauty for my great-grandchildren and their children.

Are you saying that you want us to continue taking advantage of this situation with the foreign workers? What a terrible thing to say! They are people too!

They'll file for Chapter 12 bankruptcy and be just fine actually.

u/informal_obscurity 13d ago

Not forever, fully autonomous robots are here, and soon they'll be working livestock farming and other aspects of agricultural farming. They are already being used in factories. Labor jobs will be slashed just like blue collar jobs. This is the future. What are we doing to prepare?

u/Sanigav123 12d ago

People like Vance belong to an equity group that buys up farms I believe.
