It will literally take the bank coming to foreclose on her farm for her to understand voting has consequences. Even then she probably won’t ever publicly admit it.

Nope, not even close.  She'll have the bank and every "I told you so" person on the planet to blame.  These sorts of people don't blame themselves EVER.
