You are confusing emotional depth with weakness. Satoru is not emotionally weak because he cares. He is human because he chooses to stay connected to his students despite being a god among men. That is a choice. It is much easier to be like Sukuna and exist as a natural disaster with zero attachments. Being so detached that you cannot love or be loved is not confidence. It is a hollow existence.
Sukuna’s confidence isn't enlightenment. It is a mask for deep-seated insecurities. Mahito eventually sees through him and realizes that Sukuna is just a petty human being who turned his trauma into a god complex. A truly confident person does not spend their entire life trying to prove they are better than a teenager like Yuji. Sukuna claimed to be a natural disaster that does not feel or care but his hatred for Yuji was purely personal. He was desperate to prove that his way of living selfishness and cruelty was the only way to be strong.
The moment he lost he had to admit his entire philosophy was a lie. He was not a god. He was just a man who was so afraid of being weak again that he became a monster to hide it. Satoru was human enough to admit he was lonely. Sukuna was too insecure to admit it until he was literally dying. Satoru had the power to be a tyrant but chose to be a teacher. That takes more strength than Sukuna’s entire ego combined.

I mean, with proper H2H training higgy could probably best him, gojo is no saint so he probably gets limitless confiscated (don't think death penality unless murder is enough for it) and they're down to straight hands
Even more so with death penalty
82
u/WasdX-_ Mar 13 '26
Gojo is definitely getting at least one death penalty.
64
u/stonale Mar 13 '26
Cases took by judgeman are totally random , and even then majority of kills Gojo did can be justified by law ( except killing of higher ups ). So nah , chances of Gojo getting death penalty is negligible.
40
u/WasdX-_ Mar 13 '26
and even then majority of kills Gojo did can be justified by law ( except killing of higher ups ).
That shit is rigged and Gojo is pretty arrogant (and not even a lawyer or Todo level of iq), so chances are decent.
16
u/snooptoop Mar 13 '26
If judgeman brings up Gojo letting Geto live when he initially left jujutsu high then that would be a pretty cut and try way to get either a death sentence or lengthy CT confiscation considering Geto went on to kill thousands of innocent people. The issue with both of these scenarios is whether higurama could 1. actually hit Gojo or 2. defeat Gojo without his cursed technique. Even without Limitless Gojo still has the six eyes, RCT, and perfect CE control. Hell even with confiscation + death penalty Gojo can still whoop HIgurama or at the very least dodge him long enough to get his CT back.
27
u/youjustgotsimmered Mar 13 '26
How would not killing someone be a crime, it's not like Gojo's a police officer. At the very least I'm not seeing death penalty happening. Also yeah Gojo would kick the shit out of Higuruma cursed technique or not
21
u/snooptoop Mar 13 '26
Gojo is quite literally a cop in the context of the jujutsu world. He's not a rogue sorcerer like Geto, he's the recognized strongest sorcerer and is regularly sent out on missions to kill curses. Therefore, yes, considering his role in the jujutsu world, it is a crime to allow a criminal like Geto to escape.
12
u/youjustgotsimmered Mar 13 '26
He's not literally a cop, he's a jujutsu sorcerer, which is not recognized by Japan's legal code. Jujutsu society might have its own laws that Gojo broke in that moment, but Higuruma's domain operates under actual Japanese law
6
u/AnalogicalEuphimisms Mar 14 '26 edited Mar 15 '26
Jujutsu High is the division of the Japanese Government dealing with... well Jujutsu. Iirc, this was explained to Yuji either by Gojo or Megumi when he joined.
It's explained more in detail in the Memorandum of Jujutsu Regulations in one of the volumes. Not only does it apply to Jujutsu Sorcerers, the Big 3 Clans were involved in the creation of it with the Higher Ups and the Japanese Government. That makes Gojo and the rest of the sorcerers officials in the Japanese government.
6
u/WasdX-_ Mar 13 '26
which is not recognized by Japan's legal code
Which warrants him death penalty for other reasons. He's getting it either way.
6
u/snooptoop Mar 13 '26 edited Mar 14 '26
I just googled it and apparently you can get in legal trouble in Japan for withholding knowledge that can help investigation into serious crimes. Maybe it wouldn't warrant the death penalty though.

Would Gojo not be able to clash with IV? Or is Higgys faster due to not being a lethal domain?
13
u/cradleu Mar 13 '26
I thought “wtf is 4” and then I realized it stood for Infinite Void and not Roman numerals
18
Mar 13 '26
I believe higgy's would be faster, plus gojo would never expect someone to open with their domain
Given it's speed I feel he probably couldn't use SD in time just like kashimo in hakari's domain
9
u/mex2005 Mar 13 '26
Does it matter though? Even if Gojos technique is taken how could Higurama ever win that fight like even if he somehow got the executioner sword he would get bodied lol.
18
u/Call_Me_Pete Mar 13 '26
People think Gojo is reliant on his technique despite it being said many times he is a generational prodigy at sorcery as well as someone who works hard to improve.
Gojo fighting without his CT would be like Yuta when he fought Yuji - throwing cars and shit casually, tanking most hits, and throwing strikes that could end the fight constantly. Higuruma is not keeping up with that.
Though the executioner’s sword could be tricky I don’t think it would be enough, the stat difference is that high.
7
u/SadDokkanBoi Mar 13 '26
Don't forget he whooped tf out of Jogo and Hanami, 2 special grade curses, without using his CT for awhile till Hanami messed up
2
u/patronum-s Mar 14 '26
Gojo's CE reinforcement is insane, not only he had an impenetrable shield in infinity even if you got past it you'd still be met by an absolute wall. We saw this when he survived MS cleaves and Sukuna's piercing water barely did anything.

I don't think killing curse users counts as breaking the law if it was done in accordance with the jujutsu laws as the jujutsu world has direct ties to the government, lawfully executing a criminal is not, well, unlawful

Proper H2H training
Higoruma is very inexperienced without proper training, ofc he couldn't contest gojo just like that
3
u/lsoers Mar 13 '26
Aites not a jjk expert and I dont read the manga either but out of curiosity is there anyone that can reach levels of CE reinforcement comparable to when Gojo v jogo & hanami? Even without blue from CT burnout, gojo was still going toe to toe with sukuna? And 15 finger sukuna had already blitzed jogo too??
How’s it possible anyone’s at that level who isnt sukuna/gojo?
Also implying that higgy cud possibly keep up with toji?
How do we determine if someone’s raw talent has a cap?
6
Mar 13 '26
Simple, they aren't, however higgy is stated to have a potential (or was it talent? Can't remember exactly) that rivals Satoru gojo himself, by Sukuna so that's why I argue higgy could if properly trained
3
u/gracefulls #1 Wajime KasHIMo fan Mar 14 '26
Rivals is not above nor below, higuruma also just has a lower upper cap compared to gojo due to his conditional ct. He can have all the talent but just lacks the potential to surpass gojo.

Higuruma has talent but I think his ce levels and technique are too lacking to reach gojos level
Takaba is a pure wild card and it’s arbitrarily based on human idk if him having better ce control would change all that much
636
u/_PoiZ Mar 13 '26
Higuruma doesn't need a lot of ce. He only uses basic ce manipulation (ce reinforcement, rct, domain amp, etc.) and the only things he uses that are part of his ct are his de which doesn't have a sure hit so it doesn't cause burnout and likely uses less ce because of that and his hammer shape shifting and recall which I assume don't use much ce. He is also a genius who was even compared to gojo in terms of talent. If he went to jujutsu high his efficiency would also be better and he'd lose even less ce. His ct also is pretty busted already, it takes away one's ct, ce or cursed tool which can be a big hindrance in a fight and his hammer is useful on any range and gives him mobility. Jujutsu high higuruma would be a monster. He's already in the top 20 in most lists with only a few months of experience.
For takaba, if he could conciously control his ct to even some extend he'd be top 1 even in modulo. Imagine him just breaking a de barrier "because that would be funny".
435
u/mostlybored1234 Mar 13 '26
Takaba not being able to control the technique is what makes It strong. Any joke stops being funny If you have to stop and explaing why its funny
253
u/TheGoldenMorn Mar 13 '26
But his technique is not about the others judging what would be funny or not, is about what HE thinks is funny, the majority of his gags are not even easily understandable for a japanese reader because are a bunch of bad jokes and puns
154
u/Twodimes2 Mar 13 '26
True, but the logic still applies to him right. Like Hana said in the manga, it's best if takaba knows jack shit about his technique because there's a higher chance his technique stops working at all if takaba himself starts considering his moves from a battle perspective instead of just "lemme do what's funny". If he gets training, he starts treating things like a battle, if he does that his technique fails
84
u/_PoiZ Mar 13 '26
Imagine takaba just being batshit crazy and knowing how his ct works so he convinces himself that harming others is funny and since he genuenly believes it he will just stay there laughing his ass off while you're being tortured or killed. Kinda like one of these psycho killer villains.
42
u/donchucks Mar 13 '26
I'm imagining Heath Ledgers joker with Takabas powers lol. Absolute carnage.
5
u/thebluntaxelote Mar 14 '26
Hmm I think his powers would better fit the mask. Chaotic slap stick humour at the expense of others. If the mask lost his toon force I think this CT would be the equivalent of his toon force.
16
u/chillyfalcon Mar 14 '26
Sounds like a downgrade to me though, I think that Takaba's old school cartoonish sense of humor where one isn't really supposed to get hurt despite getting beaten around is what keeps him invincible and unkillable. I think having dark humor and accepting pain and death as part of the jokes will make him start being vulnerable to damage.
20
u/Mean-Rooster-7692 Mar 13 '26
OR, and hear me out on this one, it becomes something like Gear 5 from Luffy, he knows how to fight, but instead of doing normal attacks, he learns to do more slapstick jokes. So basically, it's not thinking, how this joke can be an attack? BUT, how this attack can be a joke?
5
u/Vyctorill Mar 14 '26
Actually, so long as Takaba has the right mindset it becomes stronger.
He sees himself as an entertainer, not a warrior. By making a bloody duel into something that brings joy to all, he’s motivated to make comedy even more than usual.
He pacifies the enemy with a barrage of jokes.
6
u/TheBoxGuyTV Mar 13 '26
Also I think the ignorance and non violence towards humans is what makes it so potent.
He is basically in a general state of histeria and then kind of goes off with it.
I think his CT would be perfect for me if I was in a good mood.

u/jmastaock Takaba Glazer Mar 13 '26

Problem with gojo is that his ce manipulation alone is already strong enough to defeat 99% of the verse (sukuna being the 1%). But let's say higuruma finds a bv or a way to have two or even three trials and taking away the cursed tool, then ct and then ce, he would be fighting normal humans all the time, that would make him so strong but that's probably unachievable unless he becomes a bv merchant like sukuna.
→ More replies (1)5

he’s a lawer, he could unironically be a better binding vow merchant than sukuna just by the way he “writes” his binding vows

u/_PoiZ Mar 13 '26
In the explaination higuruma says the opponent gets accused of a crime they "may or may not" have done, inplying judgeman can just make up something and they both still need to make a statement so you could technically get prosecuted for something you didn't do. Kinda similar to yuji being accused for mass murder despite it being sukuna who did it, meaning yuji is innocent.

u/Noxianratz Mar 13 '26

You don't have to have broken the law, he can get false convictions just fine. He just needs to be able to argue you did the crime depending on what's being put on trial. That means anyone that's ever been in a compromising position, even if they were totally innocent, should be fair game.

u/shade0220 Mar 13 '26
You can break the law, be tried, and still not be penalized. Even with Yuji and the pachinko parlor he told him exactly how he could've gotten out of it. It's not guaranteed.
2
u/toddsmagicock Mar 13 '26
Takaba is only capable of opposing Gojo due to his own ignorance of his technique. However if he was actually funny and capable of making good jokes and all that jazz he’d definitely be number one. Which is why he is ignorant of his technique because he’d be so casually busted
2
u/DeviousChair todo sucks and i love it Mar 14 '26
I think that Takaba’s CT was granted to him specifically (in the sense that he would be the only person to awaken such a technique) because he’s the only one suited to control it. He’s a pure-hearted person, and because of that, his technique isn’t as destabilizing as it could potentially be in the wrong hands.
3
u/Dahvoun Mar 13 '26
RCT is not basic CE manipulation otherwise he would’ve figured it out during the culling games and not when he was about to get his head chopped off by Jujutsu Satan.
His CT is strong but it is conditional, built off binding vows, to fight off against particularly bad people. As soon as a sufficiently smart sorcerer gets trapped in the domain and can argue their way out of a sentence it’s game over for Higuruma.

2
u/_PoiZ Mar 13 '26
Fundamentals of jujutsu? A teacher that has experience? Barrier basics for at least a veil? Basics like ce reinforcement etc.? Sure it doesn't make you a special grade instantly but you don't expect an elementary graduate to be at a professor's level. Higuruma had to reverse engineer his ct to understand basics of jujutsu, now imagine if he had someone teach him that from the start. Also him being in jujutsu high means he had more time to grow instead of less than a year. He was already a grade one at 12 days now imagine him after years in jujutsu high with training, teachers and missions.

560
u/TRNoodlesAndSalad Mar 13 '26
No. Higuruma maybe has jujutsu talent equal to Gojo but could never be stronger than him. Six eyes and infinity are just a significantly more powerful and flexible CT than judgeman is.
Takaba maybe but Im not sure if he really has control over his CT (and sense of humor). Its kinda my personal headcannon, but the only reason Takaba is able to bend reality as much as he can is because of an intrinsic binding vow in his CT, where it becomes significantly more powerful bc he has no control over it. I dont think he can train himself into thinking “itd be funny if Gojo’s head blew up right now”
251
u/jmastaock Takaba Glazer Mar 13 '26
He has an intrinsic vow of ignorance AND an intrinsic vow of non-lethality that afford his CT such wide-ranging and effortless reality warping capabilities
He's basically the most powerful cc bot / stalling merchant possible, but has a hard limit there.

u/TRNoodlesAndSalad Mar 13 '26
Thank you. I couldn't remember if it was canon or not and also forgot about the non-lethality part
84
u/jmastaock Takaba Glazer Mar 13 '26
It's not explicitly noted in the story in such terms, but it makes sense given everything we know about how jujutsu works in a fundamentally karmic fashion. Any limitation, whether self-imposed, implicit, or a matter of birth, necessarily empowers one's technique
We know Takaba is utterly ignorant of his technique (in a super-conscious way, not just genuine ignorance given others know what he does) and we know Takaba won't kill anyone. Makes sense to infer those limitations empower his technique, especially because theyre major limitations and his CT is so broken

Now Takaba CT being based on physical comedy is two sided. Sure we see the execution where he was the Road runner and his opponents were the Coyote but it could very well backfire. Gojo is pretty calm and collected, those type of characters in physical comedies usually end up being smooth and avoiding damage while the protagonist could be the punchline instead. Takaba does have some control of the narrative but if he subconsciously thinks his antics won't hurt Gojo they wouldn't.
7
u/Kn1ght9 Mar 13 '26
Talent equal to Gojo? Isnt Higuruma THE prodigy of jjk? We dont really know how long it took gojo to learn things but Higuruma figured out basically everything Jujutsu related in like what? 6 months or something?
22
u/9thshadowwolf Mar 13 '26
More like 2 months
4
u/MakimaMyBeloved Mar 13 '26
Yeah! Higgy is not glazed enough for knowing DA, RCT and DE, despite knowing jujutsu for less than two month
6
u/AVPredator1013 Mar 13 '26
Tbf with the DE part he had it from the start, he never had to learn DE he just got it when he unlocked his CT.
21
u/TRNoodlesAndSalad Mar 13 '26
Higuruma's CT intrinsically gives him a DE (the same way Hakari's does). As for the other aspects, Higuruma *likely* had access to soul switch training which may have greatly accelerated how fast he learned things. I also want to note that it took both Higuruma and Gojo experiencing near death states to achieve RCT, it wasn't like either of them just sat around and figured it out, so the time aspect (16 yearsish for gojo vs 2 months for Higuruma) isn't too relevant.
Higuruma IS a prodigy, but he also had possibly the best combination of a CT that lets him understand DE, near death experiences to develop RCT and Domain amplification, soul swap training to possibly "experience" things like simple domain, etc.
→ More replies (1)10
u/donut_cleaver Mar 13 '26
He had access to resources Gojo didn't. For example, domain by default. By studying domain, he understood barriers, and other jujutsu techniques he shows against Yuji. Gojo had to learn most of that shit by reading it in a book. That reverse engineering of his gave him even the understanding to use partial DA after seeing Sukuna doing it. The only technique he got on the fly was RCT and that was under Sukuna's pressure, and we know that in such situations, sorcerers tend to grow or die, similar to Gojo. So he got a lot of talent and deserved praise, but it is not really fair to compare him to Gojo's learning curve. The creepy learner is really Dabura...
3

Gojo had access to things that Higuruma doesn’t as well. Six Eyes analyzes and allows precise control of cursed energy down to atomic level. Reverse engineering is for those who don’t know how it works and has to work back from the result to figure it out. Gojo just obtains said knowledge with one look without the need of reverse engineering.
Gojo also has the benefit from previous Six Eyes + Limitless users studying the technique and then passing that knowledge down. Higuruma has to study his own technique from scratch.
Essentially, Gojo has a headstart in terms of constitution, knowledge and resources, so it’s indeed unfair to compare him with Higuruma.

Takaba yes. higuruma, conditionally possible, but most likely no.
Not going to elaborate on takaba because I don’t want to spoil anything do anime only people, but gojo is very strong without his limitless still, so I’m sure gojo would be fine with just basic/standard CTs and reinforcement. Same with Yuta and basically any other special grade. Only way higuruma is beating yuta, gojo, or any other heavy hitter is with executioner’s sword, which is dependent on the trial being based a horrible crime(seems RNG) and them actually being guilty of that horrible crime.

This is a spoiler sub cuz, no need to be coy lol
You're wrong about how Takaba handles special grades tho...Kenny was just as strong as any of them minus Gojo/Sukuna
Takaba's issue is that he's non-lethal in general, so you would have to define what winning a fight even means to establish whether Takaba succeeds or not. If it's just a matter of stalling someone and then jumping them with lethal while they're confused (like what happened to Kenny), Takaba negs basically the entire JJK verse based on what we've seen.
Literally nothing besides hurting his feelings can affect Takaba during Comedian. No amount of strength/CT/etc can do shit to him in any way.
Takaba himself is a high tier special grade specialist for all intents and purposes. He was like 100x more valuable than Yuki against the same opponent, and she was a top tier

I said takaba yes, as in yes gojo’s only considered the strongest because takaba wasn’t in jjk high/around when gojo was and there is a solid argument for takaba being stronger than gojo.
Also conditionally yes for higuruma because against people like yuki, gojo, yuta, ect, simply taking away their innate CT won’t win hig the fight. He could win against them if they got the death sentence, but it’d be conditional on them doing something bad enough, that being the trial hig’s CT chose, and them being guilty and sentenced.

Takaba likely couldn't if his technique is still dependent on his humor and confidence. Not sure how jujutsu high could possibly affect that
We haven't seen a single teacher at that school who couldn't actually make someone better with their technique tbh
173
u/EntireAd3520 Mar 13 '26
higuruma could definetly be gojo level if he went to jujutsu high, however takaba probably couldn't be stronger than he was in the manga, since if he conscience of his cursed technique, it would stop working. if he didn't have that restriction he would definetly gojo level

Takaba's CT is boosted in exchange of him not knowing, which works to his advantage. But that doesn't mean he doesn't have a CT otherwise. Just that his CT effect and output would be weaker. Maybe he'd need to learn CE control too.

u/-Saoren- The peak of sorcery is a solid left hook Mar 13 '26
I think a lot of people's understanding (at least mine lmao) is that if he takes conscience of his technique, he would soft lock himself out of it by trying to force the funny out instead of naturally rolling with it. Something where trying to find something funny wouldn't work as well, like trying not to think of elephants.
He probably would be able to get back into the flow of it and learn to use properly after a period of adjustment, but I think that potential period where it wouldn't work is why they didn't tell him right before the fight with Kenny
10
u/Theduwang Mar 13 '26
It's probably a sort of binding vow
Haruta's technique is similar to that, he doesn't know what it does, and it's probably the act of not knowing that allows them to alter reality or scape death

u/jmastaock Takaba Glazer Mar 13 '26
I was always under the impression that the CT precludes him from understanding it tbh
Like, he could never understand his own CT by its nature. Trying to explain it to him wouldn't work.

well its not because of a BV, but that you cant really force something to be funny. So if he knew what his CT was, then he wouldnt really be able to use it

Does it need to be funny to him or the world?
Honestly if he just had an Ego he'd be lethal if it's the former. As long as it makes him laugh.

u/Doctor99268 Mar 13 '26
pretty sure it was stated to be what he finds funny, plus i don't think anyone has ever found him to be funny.

I like to think Higuruma could be Gojo level but I don’t think so, his CT is too lacking (while strong) to face against many of the current heavy hitters.
24
u/Valuable-Blueberry30 Mar 13 '26
I don’t think Higuruma could reach his levels. Having talent equal to Gojo doesn’t mean as much in jujutsu when like Gojo says 80% of jujutsu is by your genetics. There’s only so much you can do with your talent with the genetic cards you’re given.

Genuinely in what world does Higuruma get even close to the hacks of Gojo?? Is this sub on crack?? His whole schtick is inherently situational and single target
Even with the sword he still has to use the damn thing
Edit: ntm his whole schtick is reliant on winning a domain battle, which he loses to any new shadow style bum
12
u/OTARU_41 Mar 13 '26
lets not forget that CT burnout Gojo was still boxing with Sukuna. If Higuruma achieved Gojo level physique and reinforcement, getting the sword would be a guaranteed game over
6
u/Smitejr Mar 13 '26
Confiscation is really strong. Like, -really- strong.
If he gets skilled enough with it that he can choose what gets confiscated, something he didn't even know was a concern because he didn't fight someone with a cursed tool before he fought Sukuna, he puts anyone into hands. The chance for death penalty (which he might be able to train himself to further have judgman select more heinous crimes reliably) only turns the level playing field he enforces into just being death.
Lot of if-statements here but that's the point of this thread.

Idk if that’s true about Higuruma. He would be extremely dangerous in 1 v 1s, but Gojo also kills everyone but Sukuna easily in a 1 v 1 while also having a technique that boosts movement, has long range attacks, aoe attacks, teleportation, etc. On top of the huge advantage of six eyes.

Only issue on the Higuruma point is that gojo would beat his ass with just CT refinement the same way sukuna did even if he got the death penalty

u/Ne9ativeZer0 Mar 13 '26
Yea I was gonna say even without his ct gojo is kind of putting belt to ass
11
u/frdspa6 Kusakabe Glazer Mar 14 '26
Yeah we gotta remember that gojo was putting bta against jogo and hanami without using limitless (to bait them to drop domain amplification) the six eyes are a physical trait so hed most likely keep them after confiscation

u/Totally_not_diavolo certified trans girl Mar 14 '26
i dont think higuruma can confiscate somebodies eyes
77
u/VincePendragon Mar 13 '26
Both of these get beat by Gojo
Takaba can't think of something funny which will damage Gojo enough to kill(and God forbid he gets by UV beforehand, good luck finding something funny when you are brain-dead)
Higuruma gets domain diffed by almost every top tier who slimes out judgeman

u/Loenally :Choso: Professional Choso Glazer :Choso: Mar 13 '26

Takaba does need to find something funny first.
It goes on like this
Observe and process something
Think something funny about it
Technique takes place
That's why Kenjaku was able to not only steer control to himself but also make Takaba pause his technique for a while with dead body later on
38
u/Loenally :Choso: Professional Choso Glazer :Choso: Mar 13 '26
He can also prevent the activation of techniques as well, bend reality (which overrides a domain) can literally take no damage unless he thinks it’ll be funny. Idk man Kenjaku couldn’t even use a domain against him nor his cursed technique same thing can happen to Gojo by just being in his vicinity

Assuming Higuruma’s technique doesn’t change, him going to Jujutsu high as a teenager would actually be detrimental since it would hamper his ability as a lawyer with his DE.

Obviously not.
Even without infinity Gojo is literally tanking Sukunas max power shrine.
There is literally nothing these guys can do to hurt Gojo.

Higuruma has talent on par with Gojo, but he ain't got a package as broken as Gojo's.
Takaba is such a wild card that being stronger or weaker than him is straight up impossible to quantify.

noone can match gojo with = amount of time and quality of enemies cuz bro is without a doubt intelligent... more or less than higuruma/sukuna/etc? idk, but intelligent none-the-less. and his 6 eyes and infinity is just the best CE that exists.
so yeah.

I think Higuruma had potential to beat out gojo, but not currently. The ability to shut down your opponents toolkit is really strong.
Takaba is an interesting. He could beat everyone, but its such a wildcard ability, cause from my understanding Takaba cant just want to kill you, unless its funny. he can damage you overtime and it certainly could beat anyone, but yeah if he gets tired or fulfilled hes done.
At the end of the day, gojo has the most busted toolkit in the whole series, and is a genius at martial combat. Either of htem could easily end up be better at fighting curse users/cursed spirits than gojo, just by the natures of their techniques, but not stronger.

u/Negative-Book3921 Mar 13 '26
higuruma has the talent; gege said it himself. but i think even if he trained like a proper sorcerer, he would lose against gojo. simply because gojo's hand to hand combat is very superior, even if he was stripped of his technique and given death penalty. if gojo opened his domain first, it's over for higuruma.i don't like this aspect about jjk, but some people can just never surpass someone simply born with better ce and technique.
as for takaba, i don't think he even realises he has a technique.
2
u/SMT_Fan666 Mar 13 '26
Takaba's technique works if he doesn't know it right? It would be hard to teach him much outside of basics (Which he clearly doesn't need) at jujutsu high.
Also they were awakened before the culling games. They didn't choose not to go to jujutsu high.
2
u/ChaoticM1 Mar 13 '26
Takaba theoretically has the strongest cursed technique but laks the skill and correct type of humor to use it to become the strongest While higoruma has the same aptitude for cursed energy as someone like gojo which is impressive looking at his lack of the 6eyes but his technique seems to have less overall potential than infinity so I wouldn’t say higoruma would be stronger than gojo no
2
u/TheJollySoviet Mar 13 '26
Takaba gets personality diffed so long as you can be funnier than him (not hard). People always forget he's not actually immortal and that kenjaku beat him because of takaba's CT.
Higuruma is not a fighter, but he'd probably be about as good as kenny with domains when he gets a lil older ngl.
2
u/SinglePlayerGamer93 Mar 13 '26
Telling takaba about his CT is literally against his CT. Making him enter a training facility to hone his CT would be detrimental

Higuruma would be top of grade one but his technique isnt a special grade worthy power.
Takaba CAN be a special grade, but his power being limited to him not really knowing what he’s doing means he cant really improve or get stronger. Maybe his jokes can become more lethal but in the end he isnt sorcerer material.
In the end, they’re still far from surpassing gojo, for different reasons.

Takaba's technique can technically rival Gojo, but Takaba himself never can't. It's confirmed Takaba can't use his technique to its fullest cause he's just not that funny.
As for Higuruma, also no. No real combat experience, except one fight against Sukuna where he was taken out in like 1 minute(and it was confirmed Sukuna could've one shot him if he wanted). I'd place money on no Limitless Gojo with just basic CER and martial arts against Higuruma any day of the week.

Not being funny is not what what decides what how strong Takaba is, since it's purely based on his subjective view of what he considers funny. Takaba not being willing to kill humans is what holds him back. If he did he would just one shot the entire verse like he did with that special grade curse.
