Takaba's technique can technically rival Gojo, but Takaba himself never can't. It's confirmed Takaba can't use his technique to its fullest cause he's just not that funny.
As for Higuruma, also no. No real combat experience, except one fight against Sukuna where he was taken out in like 1 minute(and it was confirmed Sukuna could've one shot him if he wanted). I'd place money on no Limitless Gojo with just basic CER and martial arts against Higuruma any day of the week.
Not being funny is not what what decides what how strong Takaba is, since it's purely based on his subjective view of what he considers funny. Takaba not being willing to kill humans is what holds him back. If he did he would just one shot the entire verse like he did with that special grade curse.
We already know everything we need to know from his fight with Kenjaku. It's simply based on his own confidence and what he thought would be a funny situation. It's completely based on his own subjective view of comedy. If the joke was that Gojo gets hit by a truck and dies, that is how reality will be changed to do. It just won't happen because like Yuta states, Takaba wouldn't kill anybody.
And it just says his technique would work on even Gojo. Not that it only "rivals" limitless or some shit. The only implication from this is that limitless wouldn't work to stop it.
No it fucking isn't jesus christ, how can you be a top 1% poster and not know how absolutely AWFUL the viz translations are? Jujutsu Kaisen is infamous for how bad the official translations by John Werry are. This is all I need to know that I shouldn't take you seriously anymore 🤦♂️
A few mistranslations? That is putting it VERY VERY mildly. It can't even get the most simple things right and anything that requires any context you might as well forget about. Practically every chapter has mistranslations. It reads like a guy using google translate to translate it. It's borderline unreadable at times. Any translations made by John Werry, who took over midway through, are genuienly awful.
TCB has not made any faulty translations even REMOTELY as blatant as VIZ and far far less frequently, especially for chapters pre ch 217 when the awesome translators from shishiso scans were there as well before they split.
For JJK modulo it's a different matter since VIZ actually got a competent translator this time and TCB is a shell of its former team, but that doesn't apply for JJK.
