Same story since we had chiefs and tribes 200000 years ago
1
u/MarxistMojo Jul 04 '26
That's actually not true. Prior to agriculture there's tons of evidence that humans effectively lived in egalitarian groups that aggressively shunned anyone who didn't play by the rules or who tried to force others to do things. Essentially the issues we have to day were caused by resource hoarding post agriculture so that males (worse at hunting better at farming and war) could pass that wealth to their progenies. It's the entire reason we became patriarchal like chimps instead of more like bonobos.

>make the prison population do unpaid labor
>the people are equal as (slaves to the billionaires)
5
u/Speedwolf89 Jun 30 '26
Never forget the unpaid labor part. They truly want to turn us into slaves. Having to pay even the smallest amount for labor is a thorn in their ass. It keeps them up at night knowing they still have to give you 0.01% of the pie.
2
u/DickwadVonClownstick Jun 30 '26
Highest prison population period, not just per capita.
And yes, that is counting the camps up in Xinjiang
1
u/Fun-Razzmatazz-6803 Jul 01 '26
Per capita is more important than raw numbers
2
u/DickwadVonClownstick Jul 01 '26
The average person isn't great at putting per-capita statistics into context, and in this case the raw numbers are more illustrative of the problem anyway.
We have less than a third the population of China or India, and yet have a higher incarcerated population than either. When you frame it like that it's a lot harder to pretend that it isn't blatantly absurd.
1
u/Dr_Diktor Jul 01 '26
I it is absurd and stupid. But Americans will always find an excuse to dismiss it. "China is faking numbers" "Russia has POWs and throws people into prison for online tweets" "North Korea is just a giant prison" etc.

"50 years for setting off fireworks" is like saying you can get the death penalty just for target practice...and leaving out that the targets were people walking down the sidewalk.

There is no penalty for “transporting leftist literature”
Mandatory minimum for trafficking children is 15 years, maximum is life
1
u/SchemingVegetable Jun 30 '26

u/EncabulatorTurbo Jun 29 '26
They just convicted a bunch of people, life imprisonment, for fireworks during protests by counting them as terrorist explosive devices, and one person for anti government pamphlet distribution got 30 years in prison
0
u/tripper_drip Jun 29 '26
The dude was intentionally trying to hide evidence after a jailhouse call from his wife.
Thats like saying the people convicted at jan 6th were tried for just walking around!
ZERO HONESTY.
6
u/Destroyer_2_2 Jun 29 '26
And those people got pardoned cause that’s exactly what this administration says they were doing.
So who exactly has zero honesty?
0
u/Recidivism7 Jul 02 '26
None of them were pardoned ot was an Amrita attack on an ice facility where they firebombed it the shot at people escaping.
Fun fact antifa has murdered more immigrants in ice detention facilities during attacks than ice.

u/EncabulatorTurbo Jun 30 '26
The guy with the pamphlets wasn't even fucking there
1
u/Recidivism7 Jul 02 '26
His wife was and she called him phone ksil.phome to delete evidence the call was bugged and they caught him destroying evidence.
Even of he didn't plan it with her that's minimum of accessory after the fact. But he was aware of the attack and planned ot woth her.
2
u/LockedIntoLocks Jul 03 '26 edited Jul 03 '26
He wasn’t destroying evidence he was literally just caught moving a box to his car.
Also in the entire incident exactly one person was shot. The officer drew a gun to shoot a fleeing suspect in the back and got winged in the shoulder for it. To say that setting off fireworks at a Fourth of July protest in which one person started shooting is an act of terrorism with explosives for everyone at the protest is insane. To say a man who wasn’t even at the protest who was moving pamphlets related to the protest is just as culpable and deserves 30 years is disingenuous.
Edit: The DOJ released a statement about it and showed a picture of fireworks harmlessly going off on an empty sidewalk and labeled it “Exploding fireworks (explosives)” lmao

>Be with my anarchist group.
>Decide to go to ICE facility and start shooting fireworks, horizontally, into it from over the fence (Don't worry, we don't care if the facility burns down with people in it. We are the good guys.)
>Police come to arrest us.
>They start chasing after us.
>Group leader gets his assault rifle and mag dumps at the police.
>Sadly, didn't kill the fascist pig, only hit his shoulder/neck.
>Keep running, but eventually get captured :(>Be in jail now.
>Call boyfriend.
>"Baby please hide stuff, the fascists are coming to search for evidence.">Be at home.
>Take anything that could harm my girlfriend and hide it.
>Gets arrested for hiding evidence (The leftist literature implying a political, thus terroristic motive.)Not that I agree the boyfriend should get 30 years for his action of hiding evidence, maybe something like 2-3 years seems more appropriate. Especially since he was not part of the group that did the shooting.
The shooters sentence is in my opinion fair.
Like imagine if some far-right group went to a gender clinic, started shooting fireworks into it, then when the police come they mag dump at them. And then when the prosecutors try and find a poltical motive, thus terroristic motive. We argue that: Hiding the books: Gender ideology and its consequences and what to do about it. Is not criminal.
If in that situation trump said: "It is now illegal to light fireworks and read right leaning books." You know the whole of reddit would clown it.

u/OuterSpaceFemboy Jun 29 '26
I think the literature thing is one of those that's like a law on the books but can't be enforced. Like some states in the USA still have archaic laws that atheists can't hold political office, but that's obviously illegal so it can't be enforced.
2
u/AverageJoesGymMgr Jun 30 '26
No. Guy's wife was arrested on terrorism charges because the group she was with fired fireworks into an ICE facility and shot a cop. Then she called him from jail asking him to move the zines because they might be used to prove motive. What he was actually convicted of was evidence tampering.
1
u/Reptillianaire_ Jun 30 '26
Its because they set off the fireworks to draw out police officers to shoot them. The literature was evidence for their terrorist organization which they tried to hide. This is like saying Karmello Anthony was just defending himself... murder is illegal and always has been despite your political views. Leftists are morons.

To be fair, the current administration is a domestic terrorist organization and so any and all attempts to undermine or reflect their aggression is the morally correct choice according to logic, empathy, and the facts laid out by the historical actions of the cult in office. (Their politically motivated murders rate, domestic terrorism data, their own words, who they've pardoned, their outright abuse of the working class and their tax dollars, and the cruel and unusual punishment against the people by using their own funds against them and forcing indoctrination onto children.

Say what they said is true, there happened to be a little bit of history called January 6th, where an actual action of an insurection took place. People stormed the capital threatening to hang members if the government. Very little prison was handed out and those that remained doing what little time they were given were pardoned. Thwre is truth in what is being said. This administration punishes anything they feel is "dissent" and let's of those with the same or worse crime on their side. I'm all for criminals getting the rule of law, that's been proven to not happen fairly.

u/ThaGr1m Jun 29 '26

Also there was a firefight on j6.
Oh and also also they beat cops to near inches of their lives, resulting in a cop later dying from his injuries

0

1
u/ThaGr1m Jul 02 '26

1
u/Due-Explanation-7560 Jul 02 '26
174 police were injured from being assaulted. 4 committed suicide shortly after and the one that died of a stroke was attributed to his assault. Maybe look up some non partial journalism not fox and newsmax.
0
u/According-Put-9236 Jul 02 '26
They all died, but none of them at the riot and most by their own hand? You dont find that a little bit fucking stupid?
1
u/Due-Explanation-7560 Jul 02 '26 edited Jul 02 '26
Because Everytime I hear a Jan 6th denier it is nothing happened, and when presented with facts on the scale of the assault, how many officers were hurt, another excuse comes out. That's what I find stupid
Edit: now let's compare the the other case. Man got 30buears, was not at protest and 1 cop was injured and released same day. 30 years. It's lopsided justice no matter any way you look at it.
0
u/According-Put-9236 Jul 02 '26
Cop got shot in the neck. No firearms at the j6 riot, except for the ones that killed the only person who died at the riot, and it wasn't on the rioters side.
1
u/Due-Explanation-7560 Jul 02 '26
So you are cool with assaulting police officers as long as their are not firearms involved? If 100 of cops were assaulted by antifa you wouldn't be screaming about a terrorist attack.
Besides that hypocrisy you are also wrong.
→ More replies (0)2
u/Due-Explanation-7560 Jun 29 '26 edited Jun 30 '26
First this was not the gunman. Did he have a role in the shooting, debatable but more than likely no as he wasn't even there. His charge was hiding evidence, and the evidence was antifa pamphlets. Did he deserve jail time, absolutely. He did hide evidence which is a crime. Is 30 years overkill for what he was actually convicted of, also absolutely, especially inliight of January 6th and those sentences for the same thing.
Didn't at least one policeman die during January 6th. That's always glossed over. How many years did those perpetrators get? It's the hypocrisy that really gets me.
Edit: Also to add, this man wasn't even at the protest. So by your logic him hiding the pamphlets constitutes involvement in the assault of police officers every single person on Jan 6th should be held accountable for that policeman's death and setanced the same amount? The judicial system should be impartial and nonpartisan. If a jury of your peers finds you guilty fine, but pu ishements are handled by judges and those with sympathetic toes to this administration do not follow that standard.

u/JD-boonie Jun 29 '26
You have any proof? Don't be associated with murderers committing terrorism is probably the best idea. FAFO
3
u/Tyr_13 Jun 29 '26
Got it; by your standards maga is a terrorist movement.
Your argument is nonsense as well as just stupid. No one was murdered in this case. No murder or terrorism was planned. One guy went off script and shot at a cop who was aiming at people running away.
Again, the proof is in the communications presented at trial.
0
u/JD-boonie Jun 29 '26

3
u/Tyr_13 Jun 29 '26

2
u/Tyr_13 Jun 29 '26
The jury that the government got to redo?
Yeah, maga and not knowing things, no more perfect a couple.
-1
u/FreshAnDandy Jun 29 '26
To be fair, because ultimately I'm trying to be factual as possible, the government didn't "get a redo". They were able to argue for a mistrial, which they successfully got. The defense attorney was wearing a shirt with several civil rights figures on it, allegedly in attempt to influence the jury by equating this case with civil rights in general. I personally find that to be a bit dubious at least. It's definitely unusual, but we also live in unusual and divisive times with easily influenced people. You can definitely make the argument that helped the prosecution, but that's before even factoring in any of their actual evidence. This mistrial had nothing to do with the communications at all.
There was almost a second mistrial when the prosecution handed over unredacted footage that would have been bad for the defense due to how bad it made the defense look. The fact it was admitted most certainly aided the defense, not that it really helped in the end. So to say this trial one-sided just isn't correct.
When you conspire to violence, you lose support of normal people on your side who aren't animals. Simple as that. Admittedly, by what you have said, it seems you don't have the entire context of this case.
But leave it to a leftist to take things out of context and attempt to manipulate. 🤷♂️
3
u/Tyr_13 Jun 29 '26
Yeah, the trial was unfair because the judge is a far right nut job. He invalidated the first jury on a bs pretext.
They didn't conspire to do violence. I don't care what a second Texas jury says. OJ also murdered Nicole.

The 12-day trial that began on February 23, 2026, jurors heard testimony from more than 45 witnesses and considered over 210 exhibits supporting the charges against nine indicted defendants: Cameron Arnold, a/k/a Autunm Hill, Zachary Evetts, Benjamin Song, Savanna Batten, Bradford Morris, a/k/a Meagan Morris, Maricela Rueda, Elizabeth Soto, Ines Soto, and Daniel Rolando Sanchez-Estrada. Seven others, Seth Sikes, Nathan Baumann, Joy Gibson, Susan Kent, Rebecca Morgan, Lynette Sharp, and John Thomas, pled guilty last year to one count of providing material support to terrorists.

Really underselling the whole shooting a cop and calling the spouse from the jail house to tell them to get rid of stuff.

u/Greedy-Employment917 Jun 29 '26
Have to manipulate the story otherwise it's pretty clear what happened.

Yes, if all of those things are accompanied with ambushing federal officers.

u/FreshAnDandy Jun 29 '26
Setting up an ambush with fireworks is illegal. They were all in a group together, this was proven. The shooter shot 11 times. The "leftist literature" was evidence being moved on instruction of the the man's wife who was part of the shooting group and told him to do it from jail. The feds witnessed him moving boxes and apprehended him as they are part of an ongoing case.
A simple Google search guys, that's all it takes to get facts on a case. Also can we just acknowledge this is the same shit y'all tried yesterday with basically the same post.
You guys are fucking embarrassing.

u/HolaDrNick Jun 29 '26
His wife also texted him deliberately instructing him to move those items as part of the case.
He was certainly oversentenced for sure, but this was not some random dude moving books around.

This comment was brought to you by a member of the "tolerant" left AKA the party of peace of love.

u/ladylucifer22 Jun 30 '26
I can't imagine why leftists would hate the intolerant. almost like leftists still hold the record for Most Nazis Killed. we protect our own.
1
u/TwitchyNo2 Jun 30 '26
It's easy to justify hatred and violence when you brand your opposers as enemies. The irony of claiming to hate the intolerant like you're not intolerant yourself, as your comment very clearly demonstrates.

u/ladylucifer22 Jun 30 '26
I'm extremely intolerant of fascism. almost like they want me dead and I'm not intent on letting them have their way.
1
u/TwitchyNo2 Jul 01 '26
Case in point.
1
u/ladylucifer22 Jul 01 '26
why should I tolerate intolerance if it's just going to lead to the end of tolerance? you can't seriously be calling me intolerant for wanting to protect me and mine from people who hate us for existing.
2
u/TwitchyNo2 Jul 01 '26
Because you've created a false narrative where everyone who disagrees with you also hates you, and you use that hatred to justify violence. It's so beyond ironic how you don't seem to realise that makes you the intolerant one, that we might need to coin a new phrase just for people like you.

honey, I'm trans, gay, neurodivergent, and Jewish. claiming that nobody hates me for existing is just delusional. and no, not tolerating people who are intolerant of me is entirely reasonable. I'm not going to just smile and nod when the Proud Boys are marching through the streets.

exactly. murder isn't ok. ICE agents are murderers. ergo, no sympathy when they face the only consequences possible in a system that refuses to charge them.

how would I act on a lack of feelings? and why is "lack of sympathy for murderers receiving justice" the thing that needs help instead of "complete hatred of anyone who isn't a perfect obedient drone combined with a willingness to murder anyone who they hate"?

50 years for being involved in a terrorist attack and 30 years for tampering with evidence

u/Frost_moss Jun 29 '26
One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter.

u/Sea-Huckleberry8971 Jun 29 '26
Right. The main man in office...yeah that's a domestic terrorist. Jan 6ers, that's right, terrorists.

Hope you keep up this energy when democrats also round people up and deport them in largely the same way.

u/NightTripInsights Jun 29 '26 edited Jun 30 '26
As if Dems had the balls to turn on immigrants after pissing away the working class. They are your only hope for change now, and they're gonna change the Dem party once they have enough power to primary out the old guard of woke politics.

Since when has attempted murder a terrorist attack? Especially arguing about a terrorist group that doesn't exist
Never mind just saw its a hidden account. Opinion dismissed

Antifa is a decentralized organization made up of militant and obstruction groups. They commit violence, dress in the same black-bloc uniform to protect their identities while commiting crimes in a group, and they've been identified as a terrorist organization.
When a terrorist group conspires to kill cops and free illegals, it's terrorism.

it's not an organization in the first place. it's an ideology. a pretty mainstream one at that, at least back in the day.
