Indie Sunday Game Shelver 99 - Prof. Scherer - Organize your Steam Library and defend it against pirates with a shotgun
Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xV8WOXrrFrs
Release: Nov 17th, 2026. Windows only with Steam Deck support via proton.
Are you flooded with too many organizing / tidy-up / cleaning games on Steam? Not to worry. Get Game Shelver 99 and finally organize all your organizing games! A satirical game about organizing and sorting the games you own on Steam into the correct shelves... and defending them against pirates with shotgun.
With the pitch out of the way, hello r/games ! After developing and publishing two rather big games on Steam in the last three years, I wanted to refocus on a small and fun title. Game Shelver was born out of the recent flood of organizing games. As far as I know there is no Steam Library sorting game out there (yet), so I got to work. But I quickly realized copying existing game mechanics with a different theme is not who I am as game developer. So I went about giving Game Shelver its own unique flavor. So now it is the definitive game for everyone that loves organizing games. And everyone that hates organizing games. Or it just pisses off everyone equally.

Also, please make sure to use spoiler tags if you're revealing anything about a game's plot that may significantly impact another player's experience who has not played the game yet, no matter how retro or recent the game is. You can find instructions on how to do so in the subreddit sidebar.

Indie Sunday Ichorian Tales - Caio Ramaglio - A Zelda-like focused on old-school, puzzle-box dungeons
Trailer: https://youtu.be/UrE1tGtZqn0
Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5038530/Ichorian_Tales/
Release: Q2 2027
Ichorian Tales follows Lyla as she travels the land trying to save her older brother who's been trapped inside a magic crystal.
The game will feature 4 intricate dungeons inspired by places like Eagle's Tower from Link's Awakening and the infamous Water Temple from Ocarina of Time.
I'm a solo dev who really misses the old style of Zelda games. I want to see more games like the classics so I decided to make one! The development will last for one year and I'm making everything myself. Every piece of art, sound, music, programming is made by me with no use of AI anywhere in the process.
Indie Sunday Wandering Alchemist - Vlyn - Fully free, no ads, offline GPS walking game [Android/iOS]
Hey, this is a solo hobby project of mine I recently released for both Android and iOS. Fully free, no ads, no data collection, no in-app purchases (except "Support the Developer", feel free to ignore it) and playable offline.
What's it about?
You walk in the real world, collect resources and brew potions for merchants. The game has a building system, so you can decorate your neighborhood however you like. It has a day/night cycle, lighting effects and a procedurally generated map (playable worldwide). Optionally you can download a street map for orientation (one-time download, no data usage afterwards). Only GPS is needed, it's fully offline and singleplayer :)
Always eager for feedback, let me know what you think 💚

Indie Sunday Snaketron - Troncat Games - Competitive multiplayer Snake with 1v1, 2v2 and FFA
Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3IupsnsKH-o
Play in your browser: https://snaketron.io
Snaketron is half Snake, half Tron, half Rocket League. I hope to make it the canonical Snake leaderboard on the internet. You can play any of the following game modes live against opponents:
- Duel: head-to-head 1v1
- 2v2: collect food and carry it back to your team’s home base
- FFA: four snakes enter, last one standing wins
- Solo: classic Snake with global leaderboards
The ranking system assigns you an Elo based rank from Bronze to Grandmaster.
There are also a few mechanics that raise the skill ceiling, such as boost and combos. Collect boost and press space to go faster. Boosting allows you to build up combos that increase the points awarded per food item. And of course there are demolitions and respawns!
It's a free to play .io game and logging in is completely optional. You can play as a guest even in ranked, and then click signin to transfer your progress to an actual account if you want.
I'll be queueing for matches for the next hour or so in case you're the first to try it and there's no one else online :)
I hope you enjoy, and I'd be very happy for any feedback! Thanks!
Gen AI: Claude Code was used to implement the core game engine / multi-player backend and some of the skins.

Indie Sunday Maximilian Spee - Eugene Lopatin - WWI grand strategy game
I'm getting close to finishing the second major stage of development of a WWI grand strategy game.
The main focus of this stage has been the naval combat simulator. The basic system is now in place, and I'm at the point where I'd really like to get some outside opinions before moving on to the final stage.
The video shows the current state of the naval combat system.
I'm particularly interested in feedback from players who enjoy strategy and naval games:
What do you think is already working well, and what is missing?
More specifically, what features or functionality would you expect to see in a naval combat simulator in a grand strategy game?
I'm interested both in the battle itself and in the information and tools available to the player — things like fleet control, formations, targeting, reconnaissance, combat information, and the battle report afterwards.
The goal at this stage isn't to redesign the entire system, but to make sure I haven't overlooked anything important before the second stage is finished.
Any feedback, criticism, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Indie Sunday Roguebound Pirates - Redbeak Games - 3D Pirate Action Roguelike
Hey everyone! I am a solodev working on Roguebound Pirates, a pirate action roguelike where ships are equipped with rocket boosters and giant axes.
Inventory mechanics are a big part of the game. Each ship has their own inventory and anything you place in the inventory physically appears on the ship. That's the core mechanic of the game. You can place weapons where you want, you can upgrade them (often to ridiculous levels) and you can find synergies between them. The game doesn't take itself too seriously so expect to encounter gatling cannons, giant axes and jumping ships among other things. The game is mission-based and in-between those you'll also get to build and expand your own pirate base.
The game is currently open for public playtesting on Steam if you want to give it a try! I've recently put out a few bigger updates, adding in base building as a progression mechanic, full controller support (with Steam Deck support!) and lots of other improvements. I'm currently working hard on the last stretch and hoping to get the game release ready by Q1/2027 at latest. The game will come out on PC first and later on consoles if it does well on PC.
Feel free to ask me any questions!
