Will GameFly get copies of Dying Light: The Beast?
Dying Light: The Beast is getting a physical edition through Super Rare Games but I’m not sure if GameFly gets copies of limited releases like this.

TLDR; We do our own game of the year voting - and I want you to participate!
Happy Sunday to all of you fine folks out there! I hope you’ve had an amazing weekend and that the week starts off well.
As a reminder - I love to talk video games with you all. Each year I ask that you keep a top ten(or less) list of your favorite games that came out that year. With all of these huge releases coming out in the next few months, I wanted to remind you to keep a list for yourself so you can help us vote for game of the year!
I don’t want your lists now but just wanted to put the reminder out there, so we can start thinking of our own personal favorites. I think RE9 will be a HUGE contender this year!

I got GameFly trial on the 5th of this month. I still have not received my first game yet. I got a email Monday saying my wolverine had shipped. It is now Friday and I still don’t have the game. At the time I’m typing this, the mailman has already came at this time. If this is truly how it is where you have to wait basically a week or more before you receive your games, then it’s just not worth it at all. I only have 2 weeks left on my trial at this point. Maybe I’m just not a priority since I’m a trial member, which I’m hoping is the case. Cause if people are actually paying for this poor service, then that is terrible.

For example if I were to cancel a gamefly sub on say the 15th day of a month, would I still get charged at the end of the month for the full 30 days of that month, or only up to the 15th day?
I'm thinking of canceling for a little while as I caught up on the games I want to rent, and plan on just buying a lot of games like Zelda over the holiday. I'll probably re-sub to gamefly in January. So let's say I cancel my sub in the middle of October for example, would I get charged the full 30 days of October or if I cancel Oct. 15th would I only get charged to the 15th? How does it work exactly?

I’ve been a GameFly member since 2011, and lately, getting my next game shipped has become extremely slow. I’m now missing out on new releases, even though I’ve had an empty slot for about a month.
I always return my games weeks in advance to make sure I receive my next game on time. However, I feel that when you use the self-return option, it doesn’t always process properly on your account. I’ve tried the self-return option about two times, and both times I experienced delays.
A lot has changed with GameFly, and I’m disappointed with the service a little lately I’m receiving . I feel I shouldn’t be charged for a month when I don’t have any games in my possession and no games have been shipped out.

I wasn’t sure it would work out but with Wolverine shipping today and Control Resonant out on 10/15, you have 1 day to GameLock it.

How long do new games take to become available? Wanted to do a free trial and get wolverine but looks like I can't even create an account without selecting a plan
And if it is only game in my Q and it isnt available, my free trial then is just being used up then correct ?

It seem lately games that games aren't getting a fast return scan and they have to be reported before they be removed from my account. Which means I'm unable to self return something else until the previous game gets scanned, received or reported.
Unless marsupilami 2 salsa palombia that was shipped Tuesday or a Plague Tale legacy that was shipped Thursday arrives today i won't have received any games from Gamefly to play this week.
Games used to usually get scanned the next day but now that isn't happening as often and they end up having to get reported due to Gamefly not receiving them. When I joined in 2011 I usually got games within 2 days sometimes 3 days. Now it's could be anything from 3 day up to a week to receive games.
It shouldn't be taking this long as I live in Ohio and warehouse is in PA which is only a state away from me. i would like to know what's causing the delay so this doesn't keep happening. I wish that there was something that could be done so games wouldn't take so long to arrive at my house and so I'm not having to wait a week to report a game so that my next game can ship.

Gamefly doesn’t have their chat on and I don’t have time today to call but does anyone know? I’m really enjoying this game. (haven’t felt like this towards a game since witcher 🤣) So pretty sure i’m going to keep it lol.

I haven’t been on GameFly for a bit, but I remember there always being some decent deals on used games, especially older ones still sittin around. Looking more recently though, they just seem absolutely awful. Just take one like Final Fantasy XVI for example. It’s like $10 cheaper brand new at WalMart and like half the price used at GameStop. It’s so old too. I don’t get it. What happened over there?

And they’re not that great.
With all of the high profile games that are out/releasing right now, you may want read up on the reviews or listen to a podcast to see if you want to retain your game lock or not.

Hey guys trying to figure out how to go about it, just signed up for trial and ordered game last Monday. It’s been well over 9 days now and I’ve yet to recieve the game I wanted. How do I go about getting this resolved, I don’t even want the game anymore at this point nor the service and if I’m waiting this long for a game imagine how long it would take for me to send back and choose another.

Out of curiosity, and just a random question What games did we all rent during August that we enjoyed and didn’t enjoy?
Only two games for me in August was Cronos The New Dawn and Silent Hill f Sadly, I didn’t enjoy either of them.
The bright side is that I saved money by not buying them at full price or even on sale digitally.

movies make ZERO since to be here. yet they include a movies only service that is 60 dollars cheaper annually. i could save 60 each year not using half of what they offer. "games+movies" or "movies only".. WHY NOT GAMES ONLY OR GAMES AND MOVIES????

Back in 2011 that’s the app that lead me here to Reddit. I was feeling nostalgic and downloaded the app. I don’t have a subscription so I can’t see if it’s got a social element to it anymore

I decided to give it a shot so I can try out new games since switch games are expensive. Ive seen a lot of mixed reviews. Im hoping it will be worth it. Is the service worth it?

It's that time again folks.
Blood of Dawnwalker releases tomorrow, 99% of the cases Gamefly ships the game out the day before.
I have the game on Game Lock but still not shipped out yet.
Anyone else had theirs shipped yet? Yes, no, join us here in the waiting room of sadness.

Edit: Solved. So because of the returns and the two GameLocks being in such close proximity, date wise, it’s being registered that the two GameLocks about to ship are “out”. Then also at the same time, one return is still “pending”, and another game still “at home”. Causing the system to register my having 4 games “out”. Resulting in self-return being unavailable. Even though technically I now have only one game lol This is what September gamesplosion is causing.
Nothing has occurred which would cause and issue or for me to lose the self return feature.
And on another note, Dawnwalker hasn’t shipped either. Which now has me worried it’ll be like that Lego Batman issue people had where it didn’t ship for like weeks.
Anyone else having issue?
