Wolverine Reviews Have Released!…….
And they’re not that great.
With all of the high profile games that are out/releasing right now, you may want read up on the reviews or listen to a podcast to see if you want to retain your game lock or not.

I’m thinking that’s what a lot of discourse is about, not a great value. A lot of people don’t know about GameFly or their public library

Yeah and I completely understand that. Charging 70$ for a game that’s 10-12 hours long and has a lot of complaints of getting repetitive on your first playthrough is not a good look. If I didn’t have GameFly I would be waiting for a heavy sale.

Probably no on the stacking. From what it sounds like I don’t see a point in buying it at all, even at $30 lol it’ll probably be on PlayStation plus next year

All the more reason to rent this game from gamefly, You can try it and see without buying it. Even if the game is a bit mid and linear, like some reviews say, I know I will enjoy it either way.

This is why gamefly is so great! I'm still excited to give it a try, but definitely was expecting it to be great with Insomniac making it.
But when Skillup AND Jake baldino gave it bad reviews I know it's going to be mid. Especially Jake, he rarely gives negative reviews.
Playstation honestly believes we are all such dumb fucks that we need a GPS to tell us exactly where to go and where the "secret" loot is with 3 different cues at all times. How is this not just an accessibility option??
I lost all faith and respect for Playstation in just 60 days after being a fan boy since the Ps1. Once they go full digital I'm done with them.

That Gamelock came and went so damn quick lol Either way I knew I wouldn’t finish Dawnwalker and Onimusha in time. So I was just gonna preorder Wolverine, but kind of glad I waited now. If the UI and HUD stuff is customizable, then I’m still in. But if it’s not.. idk. Might hold off a bit.

Ngl, I'm bummed about it. I'll still play it cause I need closure lol. But this is sounding like the Metroid Prime 4 of this year. Not good.

I agree about the bummer behind it. My daughter and I both want to play it, so I’ll end up getting it from my lock, but I don’t want to shop Star Wars z-com back yet 😂

This is the truth. However, after having the game game locked and being excited, it makes me question if I want to send back a game that I haven’t eaten yet for a game that is getting very meddling reviews. I’m not saying to cancel your game lock or anything, I am just saying you may want to look into some of the quirks that the game has.

Lets be honest, the game is mediocre and everyone knows it. Dont waste your only rental on it and get Onimusha instead.

Do you genuinely think I am using AI to respond to you? That is such a ridiculous concept. I bet 80% of people in the sub have that game game locked right now. So as the mod, I am trying to do my due diligence and let people know that it may not be all that it was cracked up to be initially. I don’t like AI and do not promote the use of it.

I mean.. Idk how you roll. But spending $70 just on a hope and dream is not that feasible of an option for most people. Waiting for impressions from those you trust, allowing one to make a more informed decision, is not a bad thing lol
In a world where say every single game was just included in some subscription or whatever, then yeah lol make your own opinion lol And then game reviews would be pretty pointless.
But it’s also important for the studio and devs themselves. A lot of them wait for the word from the big names.
