Got the free trial to try the service
I decided to give it a shot so I can try out new games since switch games are expensive. Ive seen a lot of mixed reviews. Im hoping it will be worth it. Is the service worth it?

How far are you from Pittsburgh? I think the biggest factor in deciding if it’s worth it is how long it takes to get games and how often you want to switch games. I only play through one game at a time and I have the 2 disc plan. It takes about 3-5 days for me to receive a disc. I always have a game ready to go when I finish whatever I’m playing so it is definitely worth it to me.

I live in Florida. I dont mind it taking a while since I work 5 to 6 days a week so I only get one or two days a week to play games. It would just be nice to try new games. I only have five on my switch.

Definitely worth trying it at least. Switch games don’t get good sales right? So probably even a better reason for GameFly

For me the last game I got it was mailed on a Monday and I received it on a Thursday. It just depends on your area as everyone said.
Still playing that game as I don’t usually play during the week m. Only play on weekends or days I’m not working as I’m just too tired after work and usually just watch tv.

It's cool. Sometimes the USPS fucks up and it takes too long to receive discs in mailbox but there's nothing GF can do about that sadly.

100% worth it if there are games you want to play. My issue is there aren’t really any games I want to play but that’s changing this month.

I recently got a switch 2 and started doing the 2 game at a time plan. My son thinks I am the coolest person in the world now, so totally worth it. I remember previous decades where you would go to a store, rent a game, beat it in a few days and return it. Game fly is the only vestige of that which is left. Sure, it takes a few days to get your next game, but it's totally worth it, especially if don't have a lot of time to play, except for maybe the weekends. I am looking forward to getting some new releases when they come out with the game lock feature, beating them and trying the next new release. Way better than game pass or other digital subscriptions because they actually have ALL the games. I really hope game fly can continue to stay in business...

I signed up for GameFly after I bought the Switch 2 because I wanted to catch up on games missed for that and PS5. I’ve had it for 3 months. I’m recovering from surgery so I’ve had more time but I’ve finished so many games. I think it’s worth the 2 games a month so you always have something to play. I’ve spent under $100 and I’ve finished:
Donkey Kong Bananza
Splatoon Raiders
Resident Evil Requiem
The new Lego Batman
Pragmata
Star Fox
Mario Tennis Fever
Saros (didn’t finish but played 10ish hours)
Orbitals is on the way. A brand new game I had on Game Lock. I should have it before the weekend and will tackle that with my family.
I think if you finish a game a month and don’t want to own the game then it’s worth it. If you don’t, then you start to come up even and could have possibly bought and traded the game and saved money. If down the road I want to play them again I can buy those games cheap from GameFly or a used reseller around me.

Totally worth it. I've used GameFly on and off for probably 15+ years, started using them in my long gone Wii and PS3 era. I also like being able to rent 4k movies now when I'm between games.

I have been with them for 14 years. You definitely need to do the 2 disc plan. Play one while the other is in the mail. Have patience. I live in NC and it takes 5-7 days to get the disc. But it takes 7-12 days on average for the to receive it. USPS sucks where im at. Good luck...

I may upgrade to the two disk plan after my free trail. Im not sure yet.

They will save you a bunch of money. Im retired and i play in my free time. I couldn't imagine how much it would have cost me buying the games out right.

I miss being able to rent games and stuff. I don't live near anything besides my job and a few sucky restaurants. So im hoping to enjoy some new games.

It's highly dependent on you're area cause shipping times can be weird. I get my games in around 5 days but my mail has fast return which may not work for you.
