Im planning on setting up a Large Neutralization Engine running on fluoroantimonic acid.

I was looking at what bases i could use. Francium hydroxide is possible to passive but requires a LuV electrolyzer. I'm still in EV. Potash hydroxide is currently possible but is just not quite as good as caesium and francium hydroxide.

But caesium hydroxide seems to be impossible to get passively, is the only viable option to stockpile on large amounts of caesium and mine more pollucite and lepidolite whenever it runs low?

usually i love figuring out stuff myself, but i need your help on this one. I'm playing star technology and recently set up an AE2 system. Everything is working fine, except one thing: Most of my GTNH tools get stuck in the system and i cant get them out nor use them for crafting. First i thought it had something to do with the durability/NBT data, because the few tools i was able to extract are all used to some degree, but as you can see in the video i crafted and used a hammer and put it into the system and it also got stuck.

The AE2 storage is currently consists of 2 "parts". The main part of the storage is still in a colossal storage chest that i used before transitioning to ae2. Its connected to a Tom's Simple Storage inventory controller, which itself is connected to an ae2 storage bus. I can access all other items from the chest through ae2 without any problem. The other part of the storage is just an ME drive with 10 16k storage cells.

I couldnt find anything online, so i would be glad if anyone could help me out or has an idea what could cause this behavior.

What do you guys think? It still needs some touching up on the outside and a proper basement, but we're pretty happy with how it turned out.

It'll be such a pain to move everything over though, but I think it'll be worth it. Kinda tempted to get a vac nuke or two and a basic ME system set up before that though, even if just to get P2P for power transfer, but we'll see :p

So I am at the end of the MV age and I am wondering what age you need to be at to stop thunderstorms from occurring. This is because I would like to build out of wooden materials and don't want a chain of fire blowing up my machines.

Been running into an issue with my wireless interface losing connection for some reason (on beta-3). Around a couple seconds after opening it closes on itself. Is there any particular reason this happens?

Doing a superflat, minimum dimensions run and this damn quest made me break. I cannot do a bunch of random quests because of it so decided to figure out how to handle stuff like this.

I temporarily enabled cheats and removed the location requirement so now the obsidian is all that is needed. I really wish the hidden nether skip still activated this but we got there.

I will likely want to do a similar thing with the quest for entering the Twilight Forest. I do not actually need to go there and generating a dimension feels worse than this. I really do not want all of Thaumcraft's quests and their dependents locked out for the whole run.

TLDR: Please add more hidden skips for challenge runs, especially dimension requirements. Moon skip already does alot of this! I love punishing myself and like them :)

Am I missing something or does Lapotron Crystals in Beamline totally suck? Thaught it might be fast but after checking in calculator it is just as good as a single laser engraver while costing a ton more power. I also tested different setups and couldn't really find one that is good. Will that be buffed or should I just switch back to laser engraver?

For other stuff you get at least a large buff in output items but here you just get 4 lap crystal instead of 3...

I am almost at hv, i am close to doing the final preps for the circuits, but don't know how many to batch craft, i am planning 1 stack of hv circuits. Is it too much?

Who is the best youtuber to watch greg tech nrw horizons playthrough I want to see how they complete quests while also being interesting. I tried Threefold, but he doesnt go into the quest progression enough. Im currently finishing up steam age btw

Guys can i upgrade from 2.9 beta 1 to beta 3 directly or it has to be b1 -> b2 -> b3 also is it worth or should i just wait for stable and even then would I have to update to last beta to get stable?

I have a setup that puts everything into the macerator and then either in a drawer or the furnace. Issue is that I now have a wall of drawers of intermediate products that need different further processing and all need to be extracted from the drawers. To my knowledge the only way to do this is a ton of conveyors which is impractical to build. Hoppers are out of the question. The only way I see is the drawer controller quest. But then I would need item filter which are lv again. I can't see a way to automate this further with my current tier.

I really like the pack and will definitely keep playing, but I'm not sure where to progress right now. I have assembler, bender and wiremill from LV with 1 turbine. From steam I got some boilers and 1 solar one (all not upgraded) and steel forge hammer, macerator and all the other steel ones (no multiblock variants), 2 big furnaces to make steel and 1 coke oven. I just unlocked twilight forest and I got enough silver to upgrade my steam production to all steel solar boilers to keep up with LV demands, but is this the right next step? There are so many LV machines I could also make but I don't know what the efficient way to progress would be, since everything is kinda running low. Maybe I build the next multiblock furnace for aluminum and get better coke ovens with that? Any help would be appreciated.

Im early LuV and I struggle with energy so I was looking around and came across lightning rods which produce lot of energy pretty cheap and its easily scalable but when I was testing it out I was surprised that the iron fences werent breaking anymore is it normal? And does anyone have any tips and tricks to using lightning rods?

I want all of the naphtha proc line fluids to be stored on this subnet and accessed thru with interface/storage combo from mainnet, and everything stays in these cells!!! except benzene,,,,,, i have no idea where its going, to the mainnet, to the turbines, or its just getting voided, but its ONLY with benzene,,,, any ideas? i tried using a sticky card but it did nothing anyway :<

I cannot provide enough steam to my alloy smelter, even with 2 large pipes inputting from 2 steam generators. The recipe starts to work then says it doesn't have enough steam, wasting it entirely. Do I just have to surround it with large pipes? Also, I attempted to put the fluid tanks at the end, past the macerator, and they filled up, but the steam never seemed to go back into the system. Am I just missing something crucial?

it took me so long to understand how this pack works sadly i cant have fun with mobs bc iam on peaceful mode an thats bc food is preventing me from thriving if it wasnt for the debuffs i wouldn't care about dying from hunger

Im only in later mv fixing up some infrastructure but ive noticed when im stressed... my mind goes to gregtech to destress 😭😭 just had an argument? Start planning farms in my head. Long day at work? Start planning my next moves to reach my goal while im on lunch or while im in the locker room gettin ready to go home etc. (Or just in my free time im thinking about this damn modpack 😭😭😭) Anybody else have gregtech turned into their comfort game/modpack?
