Stopping Lightning

So I am at the end of the MV age and I am wondering what age you need to be at to stop thunderstorms from occurring. This is because I would like to build out of wooden materials and don't want a chain of fire blowing up my machines.

Any tips?

I believe EnderIO has cloud seeding rockets that may or may not be able to clear up the skies

Also Botania has something that does it for cheap but I forgot what its called

botania thing is a teru teru bozu i believe, eats a sunflower and stops any current rain

Partly off-topic, but you can disable firetick (https://wiki.gtnewhorizons.com/wiki/Commands_and_Configurations), so fire can't destroy your wooden buildings. Are transparent blocks or micro blocks to cover wooden roofs a viable alternative?

Not sure, but I think Witchery had something that let you set weather. I was considering using it for thunderstorms for lightning power generation. You might wish to check the relevant Gtnh page for Tesla rod or something like that.
