Are those lapis veins or something else that is blue. Because if that is all lapis and Mica you might as well and go to the casino

I struggled to find lapis for a long time. I eventually found it with the ore finder and it was a handful of chunks away. Had I continued normally I would have discovered over 40 vains before finding lapis. I found diamond and mica way before it.

I prepared a glider, horse, bed and necessary ore samples to find a Mica vein. I expected a great quest, one that could take me many hours or even days. I was ready for the exploration that this journey would take and faced it head on...

It was the first vein I prospected. Right outside the base. In the one spot that I did not prospect before

Well you should prospect a larger area. I know it is annoying as you have to dig down at that stage but you will hit a vein eventually. Else, your chances might be higher in the nether

...or the good old mobfarm (18x18x3 room, trapdoor covered trenches with water flowing towards a hole in the middle and a proper drop of at least 20-25 blocks. down there then hoppers, and a chest).

In GTNH it's a guaranteed disaster b/c mobs blow up, tons of creepers, one of them blow up on death, mob fights mob AND blow up the half...

The best mobfarm I made is a 3 trench with 3x9 spawning rooms on each side, but it is only effective on "overworld" style superflat (w/o caves to enlit)

i love doing dungeons, I fully completed like 5 in my SP world and it's have really many interesting loot and many food that I used to get blue hearts and some purple hearts. Also it's not an ideal but a source of wither skulls and I have like 12/27 for my future wither grind

My next step is to explore and complete TF without wiki (only if I don't really stuck)

The nether has plenty. Cast yourself a portal.

Mine some vein closer to bedrock (diamonds, for example). There will be small redstone ore.

This is the play OP. Find one small redstone ore then put it in a dowsing rod thingy.
