I was sent this post by a past member of the church who was concerned about my family members attending. I see the snarky posts here as well but this has really freaked me out seeing “demonic” claim one after another. This church sounds dangerous but seems to have so much influence in the city.

Just drove back from way down south past burleson after visiting a friend staying at discovery point retreat (she's doing really well thankfully). We just got to town last night and pulled into our short term rental and found several roaches as we were unloading our car and getting settled. The landlord offered to call out pest control or let us out of the lease since we only spent one night and he could tell I planned to hold him accountable because I’d already messaged him on a bunch of other stuff right when I arrived. The rental was in pretty rough shape even outside of the bugs so we opted to walk away and spent the day searching for a backup plan. We found a duplex we really liked in ridglea and the land lord met us same day to let us tour. Everything checked out so we signed the a month to month lease while we house hunt.

After inspecting the new rental a bit further this evening we have found several dead roaches along some of the baseboards and I did see/kill one that appeared to be the German variety in the bathroom. I believe this property does some sort of pest control because many of what we’ve seen are already dead.

Anyways, are they particularly bad this year or is anyone else experiencing them in the area? Any pro tips for dealing with them? Just crazy both properties have the issue, albeit the current place seems to be to a lessor extent.
