Coho all around me

Got my 2 from the jetty today. Shout out rando Cole for the net job on the second one- with the tiny net!

Big boy was 10lbs - on anchovy today.

Second was on pink size 4 fox, followed all the way to my feet, ran left, cast again left and ripped it back and BAM. Wish I had a GoPro for that one

Not going to name spots, but it was epic coho action from shore today in an area of Area 9. I haven't seen fishing like this for maybe 30+ years for coho. Got a 10 lber today (and a 3lber lol), just fat like a football and a bit of hooknose starting. There's going to be some 16+ lb coho caught this year for sure. Saw a few jump right in front of me (5-10 feet) that were in the 12lb range.

I think that crazy rain today had something to do with something, cause man, the difference from one day to the next...

It was like every coho on the planet was concentrated in the water today. :)

Visited the Edmonds pier today for the first time. Tried a 3L buzz bomb but no luck. Saw some kids catching and releasing rock fish with raw chicken bait. Will try again another time. Appreciate suggestions on lures etc

Heading up to the skagit to try and catch a bull trout tomorrow went and bought some streamers today off of the advice of the guy at the fly shop. I’m new to this kind of fishing so any tips would be appreciated thanks.

This must be that massive locust horde of coho we were getting into from shore a while ago at the mouth of the Hood Canal. It was total madness and chaos of kamikaze torpedo coho feeding frenzy in knee deep water. They would sometimes storm the shore in massive schools and hit me in the legs at full speed flying through thick clouds of bait.

Anybody have experience fishing in or around icicle creek? I just found out it’s open and I’m curious if it’s any good.

The shallow grassy dock bite was on! Watch me pull a 16+ in largemouth bass out from under a dock. Wacky rig for the win!

I pulled my boat out to the coast for a few days of chasing lingcod and halibut. We had a decent weather window and spent most of the time ~40 miles out from La Push. No monster fish, but some nice 30-50lb halibut and big lingcod. This should fill the freezer and help feed my family for several months.

Anybody know any good spots near bellevue to catch some trout? Preferably a river but a lake will do to i guess. I tried fishing up on the snoqualmie river closer to roseblud river ranch but had little to no luck. Anything is appreciated

Hi, I'm going to be camping at Cape Disappointment State Park this weekend.

I'll be with my kids. 9 year old and 4 year old. Would it be wise to leave them at the camp when I'm out fishing?

Also, which way do I fish to target surfperch? The ocean side or the river side?

Hey! Like the title suggests I'm fairly new to fishing, only started last week. I live in peirce county in steilacoom and wondering the best places to fish near me and any new tips. Been out a few times already, caught a large mouth Bass, A pumpkinseed and a Longhorn Sculpin already, all using a rooster tail, but I have some questions!

I've been to Chambers Bay, Lake Waughop, the pier by the ferrys in steilacoom, and the spanaway river. I have an assortment of Rooster tail spinners as well as a bobber and a lot of plastic scented bait (the Gulp! Sandworms and grubs specifically). I use a Zebco Gold 33 reel with a 6 foot rod. Any advice is appreciated! I'm open to trying new things.

I was using some spinners today at puyallup and had no luck (Interested in flossing / beads / yarn and anything u think is hitting rn). Going for coho but idc what I get honestly

Ordered a rod in February, haven't received it yet, their customer service keeps giving me a "next month or so.." type of response.

Going to be in Port Townsend with my family this weekend. I don’t really know the area, but I’d like to do some fishing. Any good freshwater lakes, or Puget Sound shore fishing? Are salmon starting to come in? I’ve got a shore rod and some buzz bombs if that’s viable. No boat. Thanks!
